inthekitty do you just not drink beer or always cans? Or just keg stands? Even just the smell of beer has always grossed me out. In grad school one night my friends found it unacceptable and brought beers over and I pathetically tried to choke down a bottle. About halfway done they realized my struggle and said I didn't have to finish it. Just don't like beer. Or most wine. But I do like a mixed drink occasionally. Beer is so gross. There are so many more options that I dong have to gag down. |

I used to for it fairly often, but now I can never do it (or organ donation) with my PID, and sometimes I think about how shitty it is that some unsuspecting people got my crappy, immunodeficient blood. |

I used to for it fairly often, but now I can never do it (or organ donation) with my PID, and sometimes I think about how shitty it is that some unsuspecting people got my crappy, immunodeficient blood. Sometimes I feel like a monster because of it. But I have a weird fear of it. Plus I get dizzy and light-headed easily (I've fainted many times over the years) so some of it is just the fear of that sensation. |

I got super sick the first time, but I was a skinny Minnie HS senior weighing all of like, 114 pounds. Since I’m not tiny anymore, it hasn’t been a problem. |

I really need to hear those celebrity encounters! Hank Aaron came to a party at my house when I was like 9. His nephew was graduating from the college in our town and they had rented out our house. They invited us back for a BBQ. (Famous baseball player) |

I met Gregory Hines & Phylicia Rashad when they were in a broadway show together.
Took jazz classes with Brooke Shields for a couple months.
Savion Glover was my tap teacher one summer. He....is not a good teacher.
I also had dinner with Tom Hanks & Bill Paxton while they were shooting Apollo 13.

I remember Tom talking about Colin driving and how he wanted a fancy car. But he bought him a crappy mini van and said once he learned to take care of that he'd buy him something nicer. A lot of the crew was there and Bill Paxton mainly talked to them. It was a big long table so I wasn't very close to him. Everyone was really nice. I was super shy and didn't talk much. |

I've met a bazillion musicians , most briefly. Hung out with one of the beastie boys, and met the Allman Brothers about 15 times. All the rest are brief encounters (Ozzy, Whitney Houston, Barry Manilow, etc)

tgrimes explain!!! Why did you have dinner with them, he seems really nice is that true? I grew up in Clear Lake, which is where NASA is located. Before filming began for Apollo 13, the crew came to NASA and took pics of everything so they could recreate the set. Most movies don't actually film at NASA, except some of Armageddon was filmed in their training space as it was brand new at the time. Anyway, my best friend's dad was an astronaut, and they were helping the actors train with controls inside the aircraft. They all went to dinner one night and my friend invited me to join them, since she'd be the only kid there. Everyone was very nice! |
