Morning! We had a big friends brunch that lasted all day yesterday and I'm dragging today and once again have my 3 niece's. The brunch was so fun though and I made two casseroles that were so so good!

Morning. School run followed by a mommy daughter date at a local coffee house that has a huge train table, dress up clothes, dolls, the works, it is madness most times, but Monday at 08.45 it is quiet and nice. My mom and my aunt came over for coffee this afternoon and I involved the kids in dinner prep. I figured, even though ds won’t eat it, I can at least involve him in what we’re making  . |

Morning! I'm finally feeling a little better. I gave in and went to the walk in Saturday when my sore throat came back. Respiratory infection, antibiotics, telsum pearls, and prescription ibuprofen. I feel a lot better than I did last week, but still not great.
And Evie was coughing when she went to bed last night, so I'm really hoping she doesn't get it too.

Does anyone have a good product they use for spot treatment for acne? Please help me not look like a tween with spots on my face.

BC sort of kept it in check, but now that I’m not on bc of course and my hormones are raging... I feel really embarrassed at lot of the time 😕. |

I'm dragging this morning as well. Yesterday I tackled our spare bedroom closet which has been filled with boxes of DH's crap for years. It was probably 20 heavy boxes and it produced about 8 bags of trash and consolidated back into 4 boxes. DH was annoyed that I started this but I've been waiting on him for it forever and I just needed it done. Now I need to tackle his side of the closet.
Anyway, I was already exhausted then C wet the bed for the first time in years around 1am then at 2am he came back to our room saying he was scared of his. He climbed in bed with us and tossed and turned for about 3 hours. Of course he was a cranky mess this morning. I turned his mood around with some made up songs and dancing but I am sure today will be a rough one.

Have you tried apple cider vinegar on your back/chest? I use it as an astringent on face, neck back, chest and it works well. But these darn spots are making me angry! |

Morning.
I’m off today and got to sleep in. MH took M2 to school before heading to work, so just me and M at home.
Not long after I woke up, I remembered I scheduled pest control to come around 1, so I’m just trying to straighten out the rooms and clear everything from floor. I made a couple calls to see if I can get some quotes done this afternoon, but I had to leave messages. I wish people would just answer the phone.

vino I've used this before: Clean & Clear Advantage Spot Treatment. I'd think anything with a salycic acid could help.

vino and nam2013 In one of the many beauty threads, a few people said they liked Mario Badescu drying lotion for the spot acne. I got some, but have only used it a few times because I always forget about it. The times I have used it I can say it tingles a lot when you put it on. It has salicylic acid in it. I can’t really say if it helped a ton either because I wasn’t consistent.

Salicylic acid might not be safe during pregnancy... not that I’m pregnant, but I’m trying to be on the safe side with everything. Hi everybody! It is just gorgeous here. I have a lot of the windows open and Charlie and I are going in and out between the house and the deck. I cannot wait for steady warmer weather.
Luckily, Josie ate dinner and dessert last night with out any issues so off to school she went this morning excited to be today’s VIP (their version of the leader). Thanks for all the well wishes yesterday.
We have swimming lessons again this afternoon. I really don’t like extracurricular activities after school. It’s a rush to get there and then I feel like we’re cramming so many things into a very brief afternoon. I bet today will be better than last week because it won’t be dark. And it might make things not feel so stacked up.
We have a weekend getaway planned for Charlie‘s birthday, but I don’t know if I should be hesitant to go or not. No planes— but a relatively busy resort. I have until Wednesday afternoon to cancel without penalty, and after that they will just save our deposit for two years (so it wouldn’t be too awful if we decided against it.)

Hey! My parents visited this weekend on a whim. So that was fun. This week is busy with work and packing. We leave Fri after work to head to FL for the week. So I am slowly trying pull pull things together to pack.

guster I’m not looking forward to two kids having extracurricular activities. For now it’s just ds’s swimclass, next year it’ll be dds too, most likely baseball 2x a week and drumlessons... between the two/three times a day school runs and this I might well be a living taxi!

I’m home today and tomorrow because my school district is closed for coronavirus cleaning. It’s crazy. But we had two snow days to use up so I’ll take it! The best part: my kids’ school district is open!

guster I am still on the live your life with added cleanliness boat. In the next month I have trips to both NYC and Seattle and I am a bit nervous but not enough to cancel....yet.
