I'm off of work tomorrow. MIL isn't able to watch H, so I took the day off. My plan is to spend some quality one on one time with Haley. It's hard to do with DD1 around.

I'm off of work tomorrow. MIL isn't able to watch H, so I took the day off. My plan is to spend some quality one on one time with Haley. It's hard to do with DD1 around. I hope you enjoy the quality time! This week DD1 has a field trip scheduled to the zoo but it’s supposed to rain all week. I’m wondering what they will do instead. Not sure many remember but I don’t have a close relationship with my mother. We have slowly been building our relationship back up. Well anyway, she saw dd1 for the first time in 2.5 years yesterday and met dd2 for the first time. Ironically I haven’t really decided how I feel about it. I’m just glad she got to see them. But I do kind of expect her to act crazy and want to see them all the time now. But that won’t happen. She and my husband hate each other....so unless that’s resolved she will have minimal contact. Anyway, that was my weekend. Hope everyone had a great week!

I'm pulling the boys from their daycare today. I took the day off to deal with it all.
We had a nice weekend with great weather.
Things are getting real at work with covid19.

No official cases in our state, but a school nearby posted that they will be closed today through Monday for cleaning since a staff member who recently traveled is showing symptoms

H and I had such a great day yesterday. It was nice to have one on one time with her. She followed me around/played independently while I straightened up and vacuumed my bedroom, then we colored, did a puzzle, etc. Her big sister is always trying to "help" her do things so it was a nice break. 😉

We have a total of 7 cases in our state, 6 of them in our area specifically. My job is working to sort through guidance we received yesterday about telework. When I left work yesterday, the thought was everyone would telework for the foreseeable future. But my boss said the direction for our agency is to continue as normal this week until our agency decides how to handle things. I telework anyway on Wednesdays, so hopefully they’ll have things sorted out today and can offer more specific instructions this afternoon. I’d rather just telework!

There are now 3 cases in my state and I’m sure that’s going to grow.
My company is currently trying to figure out how to handle the response. We were told to cancel and non-essential business travel but that hasn’t been officially announced yet. I canceled my trip that I was supposed to take in a week.

We got direction for everyone at work to telework until further notice starting tomorrow. My boss then said she was going to require everyone on our team to come in tomorrow to discuss our workloads and telework plans. I pushed back since literally everyone else was told to not come in. So teleworking starting tomorrow and I’ll call in about my workload and status.

We have 9 cases here and my head boss is against telecommute even though my agency says it’s fine. She also thinks this is all blown out of proportion and blah blah blah. I’d say more but I am afraid of it getting back to her somehow.

We're up to 34 cases. It started at 2 just a few days ago so it seems to be moving fast. The state health department set up drive through testing. You have to an ID and a note from a provider to get tested though. The governor declared a state of emergency to free up funding. At work, the public health incident management team and disease intervention field team (me) have been activated. I'm not sure what I will be assigned to yet.

My agency is being sent home to telecommute. I never ever thought my division would allow it, yet here we are.

Two weeks after the last bite, daycare charged us. It's slightly less than their normal tuition, but it's still $$. I got the incident reports for the bites and there have been 8 since 6/2019 plus 3 that weren't documented because they went unnoticed. There are no rules or regulations around biting in daycare centers. I'm trying to decide if I want to pursue this further to try to get our money back.

The owner never once spoke to me or bothered to answer me. I had no idea what they were going to do until the charge showed up on my bank account.

L's daycare plans on staying open and our district is keeping schools open for now. Other districts around us are closing. Very torn on whether or not to continue to send L to daycare. H and I are both working from home until further notice, but it is hard to get any work done with L around.
I went and stocked up on groceries yesterday. It was busy but they actually had most things in stock. No TP or hand sanitizer (we were good on those things anyway) but they had most other stuff.

Our ornaments weekly grocery store order was cancelled so dh is heading out to see what he can find. Sigh, I hope this panic induced state gets better soon.

The district in my neighborhood closed for three weeks. Waiting to see if my oldest’s school closes and what happens with daycare.

I'm at urgent care with J. Pretty much the last place on earth I'd like to be, but I think he may have strep.

PennyCandy, I had a virus a few years ago that caused me to have a sore throat. The worst. I hope that he is feeling better soon.
