M was fine by like 2 yesterday. Playing and making crafts, building legos. Then at 7 he was feeling down again. His fever had come back and he said his head hurt. Gave him ibuprofen and put him to bed. He woke me crying at 7 that he needed a cool rag for his head because it hurt so bad. Fever is 102. But he did ask for breakfast so I think the stomach issue was a one off. But head/fever- I have no idea.

Morning. We are getting our taxes done this afternoon for personal and business. The babysitter is picking S up from school and keeping her till we get back. Probably around 8. So I prepared all of her evening meds, and put them in her backpack so the sitter could give them. And then left the backpack at home. I don’t have time to go get it. So now I’m going to ask the babysitter if she will go to my house and go in and get it. She’s never been there before. And I will hope that she doesn’t judge me by my house because it’s currently a disaster 😂.

I'm at work, but I feel like I didn't get any sleep. I'm so tired. I did sleep, it just FEELS like I didn't. And my alarm didn't go off. I thought maybe it went off and I went back to sleep, but fitbit doesn't show me awake at that time at all. So idk.

Cadence has ballet tonight. I may nap in my car while she's in there. Ha

I called my mom to see if she could sit with M while I dropped J at school. She was on her way to a meeting so he went with me. But lord, I told her his fever was back and her response: oh I bet he has that coronavirus! You need to take him to the doctor!

You would think a nurse wouldn't over react so badly.

This was S for the whole week he was sick last month.  He would wake up feeling cruddy, feel better as the day went on, then right around dinner time would start to feel sick again, always a bad headache and a fever.  Rinse and repeat.  

I hope it's not the same for M and he doesn't keep this cycle as long.

M has a fun run next week so we called my sister and my SIL to see if they would pledge money for a lap. I had M prepped on what to say. We call my SIL and when she answers the phone M say, "Do you have any money?"

So B came home yesterday, went 1 more time (so 5 total in 2.5 hours) and was completely fine the rest of the day/night. Ate dinner (not a lot, but enough), drank like normal, etc. Never had a fever and was happy as a clam. No idea what it was but his ass is back at school today. I'm hopeful nothing more happens.

This feels like a Monday that won’t end...

I decided to go through my folder with all our tax stuff in it and realized I never printed our W2’s! So I get online to do it and can’t get in to MH’s acct. so now I’m headed to his office so I can use his computer to access it. I’ve never had trouble getting it before. Nothing like waiting till the last minute to do this shit.

Then I got this message from Sierras aide...


She doesn’t cry real tears often so I feel like she probably isn’t feeling well, but I can’t go get her because of the stupid tax appointment.

I think I’ve heard a few of you say your kids had/is having fun runs. Ours is first week of April, but I have a question. How is it done? Does it cost you anything to participate? Ours is $35 for 1 person, $75 for a family up to 6 people. When I first saw that I was like 😳. Didn’t expect to have to shell out $75 for a fundraiser. I guess we don’t really have to, but I know the teachers and staff talk the students about these things, so the kids are looking forward to doing it with their friends.

lahdeedah, yikes! That's a lot. At the girls' school the Fun Free is free to participate in but they can get donations in the form of laps or a set amount.

Also hi! Don’t think I just checked in yet. Boys are back at school since they all got power back. I’m at work. My FIL is in Memphis with his sister and he wants to drive down to stay with us for the night before he goes back home. I’ll try to leave a little early to make sure my house is in shape for him. Nothing much else going on.

Morning. S woke up complaining of a sore throat and had a fever of 102 so we went to the doctor. Quick exam and she for sure has an ear infection and possibly/probably strep. We didn’t test because the antibiotic will help with that too. The plan for the rest of the day is to hang out on the couch and watch movies.

A coworker from my other job told me that she’s expecting today. Due date? The exact one I would have had. I’m mean come on universe, you don’t have to rub it in...

On a positive note dh’s handy uncle dismantled the wardrobe and it’s in dd’s room!

Dinner with a friend and you can bet I’m drinking all the wine tonight (I really don’t drink anymore to be on the safe side).

lahdeedah, you have to pay to participate? No, that's weird. Cadence just had her run last week and the company came to the school and taught them different leadership skills and stuff. Family and friends donate either per lap or a flat fee and the kids earn prizes by how much people pledge. Their classes also got prizes, like an extra recess and popsicle party.
