Have fun tonight tgrimes! I told my boss I was meeting a friend for coffee at 11. I couldn't come up with anything better, and like I said, I'm a terrible liar. She flat out asked me if I had an interview and made me back out of my desk so she could see I'm wearing jeans. So now I feel like an asshole for lying. But whatever. And while her and I were talking about work shit, other lady comes in and says she wants to go to this boutique soon. Okay, random. So i guess we are all going next Friday. I think everytime we are having a conversation, she is going to try to get in on it. She's trying very hard.

Morning. My Dad is heading in shortly for day 3 of his 3rd round and as it turns out, the office didn't have my brother and me listed to receive information from the doctor. My parents straightened it out so we're hoping to hear from the doctor today. My Dad meets with the oncologist to get the results of his next scan on March 18th, so my brother and I are going to figure out how to coordinate visits. I feel like I SHOULD be their on our birthday (my Dad and I share it) but DH wants to drive to VT after dinner that night, so it would be tight. Not impossible though. But I need to figure it all out soon since I'll have to move around some work commitments plus we need to finalize our VT plans. And I just need to know what's happening - I've been so on edge and I snapped at DH over something dumb this morning. I've already apologized and he's being as understanding as possible, but I know I've been basically walking around like a zombie lately. It can't be easy on him.
In other news, our issues with Chase and his behavior continue. We're now yanking Kindle time, which normally wouldn't be a big deal but Colin has been on constantly using a reading app for school. So. Many. Tears. I'm not sure it's making a difference. He thinks he's being funny and he knows "Mommy and Daddy love me even if I'm naughty", and that wins out over the idea of losing privileges later. As usual, we didn't know how good we had it with Colin. Ha!

Morning,
Well I sent our list of ‘finalists’ off to the realtor so she can begin making appts. Honestly, I’ll be shocked if we come away from this trip with a house under contract, there just really isn’t anything I’m remotely excited about :/
We had speech first thing and B will be headed off to school shortly. I need to start housecleaning and laundry.

flamingo I think M may have psoriasis and not eczema. Since you're the expert here, can you tell me the difference? I've been using Eucrisa (& aquaphor on some spots where she says it burns) so what else should I buy? I"m reading salicylic acid and coal tar. The elementary school just called me because M is complaining about her rash again. Help!

Morning! C has a snow day today and I'm at work. We're supposed to get a ton of snow throughout the day so I'm hoping roads won't be horrible when I leave.
Also, I scheduled a MUCH NEEDED cut and color on Friday and I'm so excited. I'm also clueless. The receptionist was like, "What do you mean by color? Highlights? low lights? All over color? Balayage?" And I was just like.... uhhhh? I don't know???

The pedi thought it was just eczema but it sort of looks like psoriasis, too. She had the same thing last year and the eucrisa was the only thing that helped. It took 1.5-2 months though. She has spots behind her knees and the inside of her elbows. A few spots down her legs and she had one on her neck/shoulder area for awhile. They're rough/scaly and very red. I don't have any recent pics, but let me see if I can find the one I sent the dr last year. Hold please.

This was last year when it was really bad. You can see some small spots on her legs, which are similar to this year. The behind the knee area is there but not the parts on the back of her thighs. Also, you can see the inside of her elbows are red.

Yes. The ones behind her knees and in her elbows do. The spots on her legs don't really.

Morning! It’s S’s 4th birthday today. She is at school and we brought donuts for her treat. I am relaxing until I go pick her up. The girls have dance this afternoon and then I think we might go to Chuck E. Cheese for supper. tgrimes if it’s really that bad you should probably get her in to see a dermatologist.

Morning. H is with my dad for the day, so it’s just me and L at home. I have been super unproductive all week so I need to get some stuff done today, but L is trying his best to stop me by being super clingy.
Our dishwasher died on Sunday and it sucks not having it! And it also makes me not want to Cooke because i don’t want to wash dishes. lol.
And L has been so close to rolling over so I’ve spent hours on the floor with him trying to catch it on camera. I put him down yesterday and went to get my coffee and he rolled over without me seeing.. And he hasn’t done it again since. Little stinker

I’d like to nominate X Man for the Most Creative Use of a Toy for the Purpose of Food Consumption award, please. He had this orca water gun “eat” his Mac and cheese, which he then ate from the orca’s mouth.

I'm sorry about your Dad joelies, what a stressful time for your whole family. I hope that you are able to get down there to be with them. I have all my fingers crossed that the scan comes back good on the 18th. Be kind to yourself, sending love and strength.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so on edge, joelies. It’s completely understandable given everything that’s going on. Hope you get some answers now that the paperwork is straightened out. Does Chase respond well to positive reinforcement? Dude DGAF about negative consequences. At all. Even though he might be getting too old for it, he does like reward charts. Quality time is his love language, so stuff like a special date with me or Pete is usually enough to motivate him. Today is early release and I pick him up at 11:15 if he has been good about picking up and getting himself ready for school on time. He knows that if he makes more work for me in the morning by being late or I have extra clean up, then there’s no time for us to hang out in the afternoon. Definitely not saying I have it all figured out by any means, just a thought about what works with my spirited one. Good luck, hope Chase decides to find some chill very soon.
