Am I the only one still watching the walking dead? DH and I were talking about it the other day. We used to love it, but I can't even tell you what season they're on now.

Hey guys, clearly garden related things get me excited. I am so ready to see some spring color around here. This morning S and I met friends at the trampoline park for an hour. Then home for lunch and naps. I, being super on top of things, just ordered S’s birthday gifts for target pick up. Her birthday is tomorrow, nbd 🤦🏻♀️. I am back to work tonight and I’m glad to go.

Am I the only one still watching the walking dead? It’s still on?? I stopped watching when they were all split up and it got weird. I don’t think they were still putting out new seasons. Is it any good still?

mwhip She would still know when y’all all came back together though, right? That’s a tough situation. I don’t know if this is right, but maybe just invite her once a week to keep her at bay if y’all don’t want to completely rock the boat? Her actions about it are OTT.

lahdeedah , no shame in just being honest and saying you were on the waitlist for the other classroom or something to that effect. I'd place him wherever you think he will be happiest. Re: our yard. We have a tiny yard (about 50' x 20'). There wasn't much to it but last year we did demo. What was there was ugly; however, that left it barren. I'm so excited for some color and growth. Only big plant left to put in is a hydrangea. I love them and must have one. I know it may not be aesthetically pleasing, but I'm also going to plant some strawberries later in the year and let them work there way across the entire shrub area because I love garden fresh berries and they grow like weeds. We've had a ton of oppressive rain lately, but finally had some sun. It's been so nice. However, our first bit of planting was between cloud bursts. Cass had her head-to-toe rainsuit on and was ready for it. Did you take some of my suggestions from last year? I wanna see pics! Strawberries are excellent ground covers. I did. Thank you! Cass and I went to this great nursery and they had such a great selection. I'm glad that you approve of the strawberry ground cover. I don't have the space for a dedicated garden so I figure this is the best way to get around that since the only fruit I care to grow is strawberries.

My water actually broke with Cass while I was watching it. Lolz. I read further in the comics than I got in the series. (I got to literal skin suiters in the comics.) I know some of the major spoilers. I didn't like where they were going and how they kept killing off everyone I liked. Plus the gang kept making REALLY stupid decisions. I very much disliked Carol being emotionally unstable off in never-never land. She was one of my favorites and a strong female character and she became a nutter. I'll probably go back and finish it on Netflix someday.

mwhip yikes. I have such a hard time with those kind of people. I think lahdeedah has the right idea. Try to include her occasionally.

I kind of want to know what happens to everyone so maybe someday... DH and I were laughing the other night yelling, "Carl!" in our best Rick Grimes voices (yes, we're weird). I think it would be so funny to have a dog named Carl

I got MH to leave a few minutes early so he could pick up H and I’d just have to pick up M. That way she’d have enough time to watch Frozen 2 tonight. She decided she’d rather go in the field and throw the boomerang my in laws brought them from Australia.

I would suggest getting a variety, including June-bearing and everbearing.

I'm starting with a couple and will see how much they grow and add more over time.

We would have to leave after her and get back before and that isn't possible. I'm okay inviting her occasionally, but not everytime. We can't talk openly around her because I think she would tell someone our complaints. In other news, I have a job interview with another company tomorrow, much closer to him. Sounds like an exciting opportunity!

mwhip good luck at the interview! I had a guy at work a few years ago who was a maternity replacement for my friend I used to go to lunch with. He assumed her job came with the lunch invite. One day I said I was going home for lunch (which was true) and he followed me to my car like he was going to come with me. I had to tell him I was going alone. Same thing though, I didn’t mind him coming sometimes but lunch was our chance to talk freely and I needed that time with just my besties sometimes.

M returned from boomerang throwing and requested frozen 2. We may have to skip bath if she’s going to finish it tonight.

I honestly like to take my lunch break alone when I work with people. It’s some time for me to zone out for half an hour before I have to go back to talking to them. Might be different if I had a close friend that I worked with though.

Otherwise, I want to sit alone and zone out on my phone.

I also liked eating lunch solo when I worked. Especially b/c I've always been in jobs where I'm actively working with colleagues and/or customers, that was my quiet time. mwhip agree she was definitely awkward to push the issue. I would try to invite her occasionally to be nice--maybe on that day invite even more people (if possible) so there's more of a buffer? But I totally get wanting to go out and be able to kvetch or whatever without worrying it would get back to higher ups--or just not having to deal with someone you don't care for.

I thought he was dead too. So I'm assuming he was kidnapped or some nonsense? Because that's BS if he knocks Michonne up and leaves her and Judith.

The trash lady had the helicopter coming. I think she saw what was happening and saved rick after he blew up the bridge and it collapsed.

I'm firmly in the camp that by now they should be experts at dealing with the zombies. They move slow as molasses.

Loving the live blog of the Frozen 2 watching tgrimes, I bought it yesterday as well and the kids got to watch it after they had their pancakes for dinner. They were living their best life for sure.

In his defense, the bridge was going to collapse with the weight of all the zombies because they weren't finished building it yet. He was trying to get the herd to go away from the bridges. I'm assuming he thought if he blew it up he'd kill some zombies with the fire. But yes, how are they just sneaking up on them. First of all, you could hear them and they aren't that fast. In the episode I watched yesterday, it was comical how some of these zombies were able to climb rocks. Like, how in the world is this possible?

I would always get irrationally annoyed when they would sneak by 2-3 zombies in the woods. Kill those zombies! There's a finite number of them! They are not breeding! Just had to get that out of my system. I feel better now.
