I'm up early. We are getting our taxes done at 9 so when the dogs woke me at 5:30, I figured I better stay up so I dont fall back to sleep and oversleep. H and I are both sitting in the dark living room, playing on our phones quietly, so as not to wake Evie.
Other than that, no real plans this weekend.

Morning!
DH is currently making sausage biscuits for us. He’s flying this morning and B has a basketball game (I’m snack mom this week 😏)
No other big plans today; we may take the kids to see Call of the Wild but not sure if that’ll be today or tmrw.

Currently at gymnastics, then we'll head to Girl Day over at the college campus. That lasts all day, then we'll likely head straight to swim. Busy day for me and the girl.

Our taxes went well, we are getting twice as much back as last year, thanks to the bonus I got and so much being withheld from it.
So apparently H thinks we need to go shopping to spend some of it. Not how it works dude. We need to wait to receive it and save it!

Hey. I slept in this morning, which was very nice. Somehow my fever, that has been gone for 2 days, is back. Luckily it’s low so hopefully it only lasts today and then is gone for good. We are just hanging at home, probably all weekend. I did decide to cancel S’s party that is supposed to be tomorrow. I haven’t told her yet because she’s going to be sad and I don’t want to. Highs in the 40s all weekend so we will definitely be spending time outside.

Call of the Wild was good, for anyone interested. C got a bit restless toward the end but B was engrossed and is ready to plan a trip to Alaska. He is my little tender-hearted one, he got a bit teary at the end 💕

Afternoon, sexy chicks!
Beds stripped, all laundry done, house clean, closets purged with donation stuff bagged, grocery shopping done, top deck shoveled, bird food & baths cleaned and filled, and taxes organized ready for me to complete. I just need a hockey team to ring the doorbell and take my bottles away! What a day so far, it’s only 2:54pm.
You guessed it, my Mom unexpectedly took the kids last minute for an overnight sleepover.
Now what to do with the rest of my day. I’m debating making plans with a friend for dinner and a movie, hmmm decisions decisions.

Woo hoo for a nice tax return mwhip! LOL to YH wanting to spending it as you leave the office 😂 I think we’re getting a good amount back this year, thanks expensive childcare, and I generally get super cheap and want to hoard the money to just stare at the numbers in my account. |

We went to the fair and parade earlier where we met up with my brother’s family. It was nice. Headed out to meet my grandparent’s at our favorite place for crawfish. I’m looking forward to chilling out for the rest of the night and tomorrow before we leave to head back.

Glad you got some solo time to be productive. vino mwhip Lol at YH the quick spender. flamingo I don’t think I’ve seen the trailer for the movie. I’ll have to check it out. Harrison Ford is the narrator and then appears later in the movie. I'd never read the book or seen any other film versions so it was all new to me. The one review I read was critical of the CGI dog. After seeing it, I thought it was fine. It did have some intense scenes and times when things were implied, but nothing overly graphic. I think this is a somewhat sanitized version of the book, from what DH said. The scenery is spectacular. B leaned over twice to tell me how 'beautiful' it was. |

Hi! I’ve been super busy and today is no different. I did a paper and a journal entry for my class. I went grocery shopping with both kids. I meal prepped for the week while the kids napped. Did two loads of dishes and 4 loads of laundry.
Also my Gymboree order came in today. It’s super cute.

Too funny about your DH, mwhip. We owed almost $7k due to the proceeds I got from the acquisition, BUT I was expecting closer to $10k, so maybe I should go shopping with your DH. Ha! |
