I don't drink coffee but I like Starbucks for their white hot chocolate. You know what's even better - a black and white hot chocolate with cinnamon dolce. It's expensive though and too sweet if you don't cut back on the pumps of syrup.

If you are going to get iced coffee at Stbx, order a grande hot version of your drink and a venti cup of ice. Then pour your drink into the ice. If you order a venti iced coffee, they are basically going to do the exact same, but charge you for a venti, when really you're getting a grande in a venti cup of ice. KWIM? This sounds complicated. Lol.

Lol. This is what I use to suggest to regulars. It saves some money and adds up! I wasn't allowed tips but one guy handed a $20 to my manager to give to me. Apparently I saved him a couple hundred dollars that year

I can not stop yawning. And it's making my eyes water and my make up run.
My hands hurt from cutting and pulling vines out last night to widen the path we take to the farm. It's gotten over grown and I'm tired of getting smacked in the face with vines. There's still one more spot I need to widen but my hands were dead after cutting and pulling for almost 2 hours so I gave up.

I'm sorry, melaniesue. I get that stress can lead to fights but it sounds like the very last thing you need right now. I hope you're both feeling more normal soon.

I get it, wedding. Except I got more sad leading up to my trip to CA than seemed logical, which made my time away that much easier. I still thought about them non-stop. Crazy mom-brain.

Sbux brews their iced coffee first thing in the morning then put the pitchers in the cold bar refrigerator. It's brewed double strength, then ice is added. It's really cold even without extra ice in the cup unless you buy it right when the store opens. Thee best taste to value ratio IMO is order your iced coffee with no ice or very light ice, they fill the cup full with iced coffee and it's like getting a size bigger.
ETA: I should add and specify the pitcher is half full of double strength hot coffee then ice is added to make the coffee regular strength then it's refrigerated. Ice is ADDED a SECOND time when they made your drink, if you let all the ice melt, it's watered down.

Aww, sorry you are feeling sad about C being gone wedding. It is such a strange, quiet feeling w no kids in the house. guster - glad that you were able to get J into a tap class. B's classes ended w her recital last month but I found a 5-week summer camp option for her that starts at t the end of this month. She seems to love dance so much, Ive got to keep it going. klong11 thanks for the money saving tip! I always prefer sbux hot drinks anyhow. So maybe just pouring them over ice is the way to go. I may try this w a tall hot drink poured into a grande ice cup.

Blasphemy! That would be watered down! But unless you ask for it blended it's pretty much how you make the drink. The hot coffee would me!t the ice and water it down. Blended coffee drinks aren't made with the iced coffee, they are made with a concentration of coffee that's prepackaged and delivered to the stores. Their iced coffee, blended with ice would also be watered down by comparison.

So I should order it no ice, then ice it in my thermos at my office? I wonder what the right ratio is though. I don't want it watery. I'm going to try this tomorrow. For science.

If you don't specify how much ice/no ice then they only pour iced coffee up to the second green line. The rest is filled with ice.

wedding I soooo get this! I always feel weird and guilty about being in our house if the kids aren't there. Any chance you can book a hotel room, even if just for one night? Or just take a fun day trip. Btw I looooovethe look of his room and the sheets, where are they from? Sheets are from Target. They are super cute but very thin. We are going to a casino in CT tonight and booked a room there. That will be a nice little trip.

Why can't dunkin just make her coffee right?!

Not really but I enjoy blackjack and the slots. We were trying to think of activities we could do that we could never do when C was around.

cagoldi how are your boys doing? And you? ETA I meant with each other. A little better. Not a huge improvement just yet but it's not as contentious as it was a couple weeks ago. We bought him that Mercer Mayer book "Just Me and My Little Brother" and he keeps asking us to read it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
