My H walked in from work and (jokingly) asked how Joe was doing. The only thing I could say was that he was certainly animated tonight. He just does so terrible in these debates.

DUCK PETE BINDER INCOMING

I feel like my face is frozen in a permanent cringe from watching this.
Btw, PSA was talking last week about how much Amy hates Pete and it was cracking me up, and it's making me laugh all over again watching this tonight.

I feel like Amy is going to punch Pete. Like, for real. But I do appreciate Liz standing up for Amy here. It’s clear Pete and Amy know they are battling for that moderate vote and they are being so catty. I couldn't tell if Amy seemed to appreciate it or if she was aware it all made Liz look more in control of the situation.

Just tuned in a couple minutes ago and I am so impressed with Warren so far. She’s been my top choice since Kamala dropped out.
Things are reallllll messy though. The moderators don’t seem to have a lot of control.

I don't mind the medical record questions. Trump was the oldest first-term President at age 70. We have four of six candidates on stage that would pass that if elected. While I believe they are mentally competent, health is a concern for me.

Earlier when someone (I think Bernie) was talking about casino workers struggling to put food on the table all I could think was, "I bet Bloomberg is friends with a bunch of the casino owners"

My three year old just came over and sat on the couch next to me and said "I'm going to read some books while we watch the debate."
(I'm in PST so it's only 7pm here, she's not up super late or anything.)

YES LIZ. This is really controversial in Washington, but I'll say it in Nevada: "I believe in science"

Amy spends a lot of time talking about what we can’t get done. It bugs me.

Amy's making a very solid point here: yeah we need to end fracking. But we can't do that with only Democratic support.
I know people in our generation don't like to hear this, but we have to be willing to accept incremental change if the alternative is no change.

Amy spends a lot of time talking about what we can’t get done. It bugs me. sometimes I agree with you, and I think a lot of it is her trying to be the anti-Bernie. But there are times where her legislative practicality is preferable, to me, to promising a lot of shit that she has no path to actually achieve.

If I had to vote solely on tonight’s debate I’d be casting for Liz. I'm hoping she gets a bump from tonight's performance. However I have no faith in the media portraying things accurately. *le sigh*

But there are times where her legislative practicality is preferable, to me, to promising a lot of shit that she has no path to actually achieve. And I definitely agree with you that sometimes incremental change is the only way things will get moving. But I also feel like big changes can’t be made without big ideas. I think that’s why Liz appeals to me so much. She has big ideas, but with solid plans behind them (most of the time). She doesn’t just say things can’t be done, which Amy says more than I would like.

LOL that was a cute moment between Joe and Pete. Joe referenced Pete having to get sign off from McKinsey to release his client list and Pete goes, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, that was a client list" not sexual harassment NDA's! And Pete's facial expression is definitely meme worthy I loved that.
