MH made me an omlette, yum, so I'm currently eating that. Probably very low key day here today!

Morning. I’m just packing up. S and I are headed to STL. Tonight is my twin nieces confirmation. Then tomorrow is my grandparents 70th wedding anniversary celebration. It’ll be a quick whirlwind of a weekend but looking forward to seeing everyone. MH is working this weekend so it’s just me and S.

Morning!
Checking in from basketball. It’s freezing here (by our standards) and happily we can go back home after this and hibernate all day. Maybe I can do some more purging 🤔 DH has a flight tonight but I think that’s about it for today.

Morning. I’m at work and training, but tomorrow is her last day training with me and I am so ready. She’s been with me for 3 weeks now and still doesn’t know basic stuff which is frustrating. I’m trying to let her do everything while I sit back silently and watch, but I keep having to help her. Monday will be a real reality check for her I guess. I’m getting hungry but have to wait another hour till my lunch break 👎🏻

I saw all the Valentine's greetings yesterday. Happy belated Galentine's to my favorite group of ladies!
We stopped at the Disney Store on the way to OR yesterday and let the kids get a treat as a reward for good report cards.
For Valentine's I got them a few little things. They loved their magnetic car games. They've been carting around their baby dolls in their doll carriers. Cass is such a little mommy. She tenderly talks to her baby and kisses her on the head.

MH put up the camping tent he bought the kids for Christmas. Both of them are currently in there watching their devices in their sleeping bags.

Morning! We’re all packed up from the first hotel and on our way to the waterpark hotel. The kids are exhausted and I’m hoping for a car nap, but so far it’s not happening. N was still up with the babysitter when we got back to the room at 11 last night!
Dh was asking what he could help load in the truck yesterday and the only thing i asked him to do was put the stroller from my car in the truck...... and he forgot. It’s going to be difficult dealing with L without one, it’s so easy to get him to nap by walking with the stroller for a few minutes. Not to mention how heavy he’s getting to carry!

Hi.
We slept in until about 9. I needed the rest. I think I’m feeling slightly better, but the plan is to just chill out and rest up I hopes that my body will recover and overcome this cold.
I do have to run some errands, so I’m about to get ready to leave.

Anyone use liquid eyeliner? I got a black Tarte liquid eyeliner in a recent beauty bag thing and I'm pretty sure I'll make a huge mess of it. Happy to send to anyone who may like!

Day is going quick. K and I skipped swim and I got some stuff done while she napped. I need to decide what to do with her 3m nicer wintery stuff, either consign or sell. A bit bittersweet but excited to start purging.
Mh just went to Costco and the kids and I started the kiwi crates my mom had sent for Xmas that have been hanging over my head to do. They are pretty cute and nicely done at least.
Debating if we will go to Disney on ice tomor or Monday, the ticket prices are bad but the fees are so high.

I love the kiwi crates, tallb! The koala ones are easier for the kids to do alone than the kiwi ones, but the results of the latter are more fun!

Disney on Ice *was* fun, but yes, all the add-on fees are a bit ridiculous. If you go, prepare to spend a small mortgage payment on snacks, etc (Not really, but I think popcorn, a couple 'souvenir' cup drinks, cotton candy and a bottled coke was around $50.)

We ended up with these ginormous safari Mickey plastic cups with hinged lids (kind of like beer steins?) with--IIRC--slushee drinks or something. Maybe they were snow cones. Whatever, they are huge and will definitely be purged when we move b/c they would require their own box , but darn those things were not cheap. I remember we spent $17ish? for cotton candy at Paw Patrol Live (came with a plastic fire helmet!!..which could probably be purchased at a party store for .50)

DH left for his flight and I was tempted to stow away in the car and go along. He took the kids to the park earlier so that was helpful, I got the living and dining rooms deep cleaned (upholstery, blinds, etc).
Can't wait to get the kids in bed so I can fully relax.

Ha that's what I've heard. I think last time I was a scrooge and didn't let them get light up things, but would consider buying them outside for cheaper from the street vendors if we went..

Yeah that was my plan on all the junk but DH is a softie, lol. At least we didn't bring home any toys, etc--it was close to bdays/Xmas so that was our excuse when they asked!

Hello everyone! I stayed up late last night and finished my last work for class #5. Today I just cleaned, helped DD with a school project, then went to DS1’s game. We had dinner with BIL and SIL after the game because they came to see him play. Now I’m home packing and they are back at a game for his other team. When they get home, we leave for the beach. C has been asking for “ocean” all day. FX kids will go right to bed when we arrive and the White Claws I think are in the fridge really are.

We took C snowboarding today. He did great but his behavior when we had to leave was rough. I know he was super tired but yikes!
I didn’t ski because it would be another hundred dollars and it was freezing but I kind of wanted to. We are probably going back in a few weeks and since we won’t be paying for a lesson I may ski or try snowboarding again. I tried once and hated it but I think some of it was my weight and getting up after a fall is much more laborious than on skis. Dh was a trooped today though helping C. He’s going to be very sore tomorrow!

wedding did you get a lesson for C or did YH just teach him? We’ve been wanting to take the kids forever. I taught my cousins when they were like 10 and 12 so I could probably teach the older kids but not sure about T.
