Good morning ladies! Yesterday I had my 12 OB appt I guess I should start getting used to these: weight, bp, Doppler, ciao! Lol tomorrow I have an appt with a genetic counselor and they are going to do an ultrasound, woot! They also said they are going to find out the gender too while they are looking at the DNA! Excited! Busy day today gotta get moving! 😊

I'm back at work after 5 days off. Of course last night was the night I didn't sleep well and had no desire to get out of bed this morning. I have a bunch of things to do this morning, but this afternoon I should be able to lay down and get a nap in.
And I'm starving this morning... Need more food, fortunately it is lunch time after one more conference call.

mrsp84 not sure how long you tried to use a pregnancy pillow but it took me a feel days to figure it out (like where to but my hands and what not) but after that LOVE! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I tried using it for a month or so. It's the snoogle, I think. It hurt my neck and was just not comfortable. I wanted to like it, but found a body pillow basically did the exact same thing.

Hi everyone! I swear I'm feeling the baby move! I know they say you usually feel it around 13 weeks for second+ pregnancies I just totally thought that was bogus. But this has been happening the past few days and it has to be movement. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!

Just leaving my appt, heard a little heartbeat (150bpm) for the first time!!! My H and kids came so we all got to hear it.
I am so excited and feel like we can finally spill our news to anyone now! Just our immediate families and some close friends know right now.

I thought I felt some sort of swishing feeling sort of like movement but I thought maybe I imagined it. I didn't think it was possible this early.

marygracerich I've been reading 13ish weeks after your first pregnancy. It feels almost like a muscle spasm twitch or a finger flicking the inside of my belly over and over. flippinchica I honestly don't remember when I felt it first w DS. But then again I had no idea what to look for haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Morning everyone. I'm feeling nauseous and terrible. And I'm starting to sound like a broken record. I'm back to work today, but from home and I'm having a really hard time concentrating. Ugh.

Morning ladies! Just made it into work. I let DS sleep in since we were out late at a soccer game. Why do kids never sleep in on the weekends?!?
I'm working from our dt office today which is gonna suck at the end of the day when I'm sitting in rush hour traffic.
But the best news is that I found more cotton candy grapes at the grocery store last night!! I bought the only two bags they had left. Today is going to be a great day 😃

Wait, tiffrobot...is your OB also your kid's pediatrician?! So confused! Congrats to those of you with good appointments lately, that is so reassuring. hiimjamie, thanks for posting the tidbit about movement, I was wondering when it might be. I was pretty late with my first, I think. maddisonrose, I just heard about these grapes....so they really are good?! We had a couple of friends over this morning, my co-worker and her son, and another co-worker too. We are all pregnant and due within three weeks of each other! We plan on going into the principal's office and all telling him together on our first day back in August.

easternshoregirl I just go to the same family doctor that delivered me haha, and she has taken on my kids as I have them. I've never needed to go to a specific OB/ped before unless she is unavailable and they book me with someone else in their office. She delivers babies as a general practitioner for low risk pregnancies, but my kids keep coming too fast and she never makes it to the hospital on time and I've always just had an on call doctor do the delivery haha! It's pretty common practice I think where I'm from, if you have a family doctor. Not everyone does.

I am sitting in my OBs office. My appointment was almost an hour ago. I love my dr but the wait is always so long. I also have to be at the blood lab by 4 and home by 4:40 so MH can go back to work. I really hope they call me in soon.

Morning! MH took DD to daycare today so that meant I got to sleep in a little bit. My boss is back in the office after a 2 week vacation and I let him know last Friday that my last day working here is going to be tomorrow. This current job is a contract position and I got a job offer I couldn't refuse with better benefits, it's closer to home and it's a permanent position. He's avoiding me which is making things a bit awkward. Also, I've eaten more honey mustard and onion pretzels this morning than I probably should have, but it helps with the nausea. My UO: I am not a fan of pregnancy pillows. I think they're so uncomfortable. Not a UO for me! I borrowed my sisters pregnancy pillow and hated it. I ended up not using it near the end. Also, I love honey mustard pretzels! Yum.

Hi all! So happy to see all the happy appointment updates in here I had one today too. I had my first ultrasound at my RE last week at 6 weeks 4 days, and they were going to release me to my OB after. I asked if I could get one more ultrasound first so we had that this morning! 7 weeks 4 days and was measuring right on track, with a heartbeat of 153. This is starting to feel like maybe it will really happen for us this time!

We bought a new mattress today. I'm so excited because it has an adjustable base (picture an old person bed) that gives me the ability to sleep on my back during the later stages of pregnancy. All I wanted with DS was to be able to sleep on my back. Plus it's a foam mattress which is amazing. I'm banking on this mattress to get me through third tri comfortably (or I should say as comfortable as possible when there's a small human living in my ribs).

hedwig my Sleep Number bed saved my sleep during my first pregnancy. I believe it can help! I mean, we will still have to get up to pee a million times but it is great when you can be comfy!

I went to the ob today about my weird inner vag bump. Aka my bladder. Oops.
But... She tried the Doppler again (after no hb last week) and found it easily. Hb is in the 160s. Now I can be excited again!!!!!

I am home from my dr. It went well. She does a sonogram at every visit so I got to see the little one again today. Heartbeat was good. She said my NT scan went well and I am measuring exactly to my 1/10 due date. She is not happy that the MFM didn't approve my c section for 38 weeks though. She said she will talk to him. My tentative delivery date is currently 1/3/18. I did have to wait forever to see the dr so it almost made me late to get home. MH has a long break so he was home with G. I got home almost exactly when he had to leave to go back to work.
