Wait, she didn’t get any bc she supposedly “didn’t have” any to share?? WHAT?! I just assumed she brought some home but didn’t get to pass hers out. I thought the same! If that’s the case that would be horrible!!!

wineallthetime, that’s ridiculous! Even if she didn’t have them, she shouldn’t be excluded! All the kids should have brought enough for the whole class, so they just withheld them from her? Rude. This was my second thought. Like why would you exclude her when I’m sure other kids brought enough. What if a family couldn’t afford them or forgets them home? So she gets to give hers next week and she still gets none? They would be hearing from me. ETA: I’m going off the - she couldn’t participate- part. If she did get some, disregard.

What did she do while the other kids were passing them out? This situation is beyond not cool. You don't alienate the child like that.

klong11 I missed the poof too but I'm sorry it's been a rough day and you and your H are still struggling. Oh no wineallthetime, I'd be LIVID. She is a preschooler. They should have checked her backpack, and honestly, if they didn't find them, they should have reached out to you. I reiterate, she's a PRESCHOOLER!!!! Unacceptable. And I had like 8 more things to say but alas my memory faded.

lfig, any chance those cats can get fixed so there's not more kittens? klong11,I missed the vent but I imagine its more of the same. You and C deserve better. I'm sorry. Yes. Ours is the female so we can totally get her fixed. And probably will after she has some. We’d like to keep one or two. And the others will go to my FIL or friends. I’m not sure who the males belong to. None of our neighbors claim them. But they are all very...plump. So they are getting fed somewhere. Probably my back porch when we aren’t home. They always dart off when we pull in the drive or open the door. I know not everyone agrees with this way of life...but around here it is very rural and mice are terrible. So lots of people keep a few cats around as “mousers” or “barn cats”. We never had any because we’ve always been more dog people. But when my husbands brake line had been chewed through we got one. And we’ve had a cat or two ever since. And I have since become a cat person. Lol. Our current cat comes to the back door and meows when she wants in and paws at the door. We let her in and she will mill around the house for an hour or so then go back to the door and meow and paw at it wanting back out. She’s got us trained 😂. And this is her favorite thing to do when she comes in...

I'm in the dollar tree parking lot because the parents that volunteered to bring stuff in for the Party- didn't. I had J's party this morning. Did my payroll deposits. Took lunch to my moms. Got M on the bus and now MJ is asleep and I'm trying to decide how long I can sit here and let her sleep before I drop her at my moms and head to M's school. Because my co room mom isnt coming. So I cant wrangle MJ and host the party solo. Busy day. I signed up to send in money for pizza. His teacher sent out a reminder at 630 am this morning about sending in items. I’m so glad she did because I completely forgot. Sign up genius needs to send a two day before reminder email. I had to borrow M’s birthday cash because I’m bad about keeping cash on me. I add everything to my IPhone calendar with a couple reminders, otherwise nothing and no one would ever be where they should.

LOL I know, I was thinking, Man this preschool is not going to know what hit them...the wrath of N13. eta: Wine, I'm glad she at least received some Valentines! But I know half the fun is the kids getting to distribute them.

TP to those teachers wineallthetime . It would’ve taken 3 seconds to double-check her backpack. Poor L! Omg that baby goat is the cutest thing I’ve seen in a while lfig 😍😍 (too bad they grow up into adult goats lol.) Our dog is a princess too inthekitty . She’s a lab and loves the water, but only on her terms. Diving into a pool or lake? Ok. Getting a bath or getting misted/sprinkled/rained on? Unacceptable. She will look at you like, “you actually expect me to go out in this? Dummy.” Yes! Lily will happily run right through a puddle and get muddy or go trounce through the Sound and smell like seaweed. But a bath is an absolute no for her. She can handle light rain, but anything heavier and she does not approve.

Greetings from the waiting room at the dermatologist.
Hoping they have some good ideas for me. Wound care was a mixed bag. The doctor was very experienced with my condition, and that was reassuring. It’s not great to be in the hospital with illnesses nobody has ever heard of at all.
But he’s not sure what to with me since Humira is how he would normally proceed, and that isn’t an option with my immunodeficiency.
So, he’s suggesting radiation.

M's party went well. The kids are all so darn cute. I had some work to do and MJ wasnt cooperating. So as soon as A got home I passed her off. Thrn he stood by my desk so she could whine and grab at me the whole time instead of walking around or playing with her. I'm so touched out and annoyed at him.

That’s a lot cagoldi, I’m sorry. Glad you feel like you are in good hands with a knowledgeable physician. I hope whatever treatment you decide on will work well. It’s a shame the Humira isn’t an option simply bc it’s easy (that’s what I’m on).

While I disagree with not fixing yours now, I know you will. Meanwhile these boys are out there getting everyone knocked up and then going on their merry way! Cats and people-not so different 😉

They’ve never fit me well but I do love the colors. Go for it! I like that they're cheap, since it's a trendy/limiting color, and they have long lengths! Maybe I'll order a couple sizes to try...

I’ve had a few pairs. Not this specific style though. They are fine. Not my favorite but perfectly acceptable. But as everything else it’s probably largely body specific. I’d try a pair!

I’m glad you’re working with a doctor you trust, cagoldi. I hope there’s an option that works for you. @wine,I’d still be annoyed at the preschool. She’s not even 4, yet! Look in her backpack. I have tried them, flamingo, but I love the colors.

It was a looong day. Charlie has Flu A. Everyone is on Tamiflu. Poor Charlie— he is a trooper, but such a mess in that last 40 minutes to an hour before he needs a repeat Motrin/Tylenol. I have to miss Josie’s party tomorrow bc I have no one to watch him. She’s bummed but trying to be okay with it. I think my co-room mom is having a harder time with it. I also had Josie’s conference this afternoon, and she’s off the charts killing it. I’m so proud of her! They’re doing so many interesting things to enrich the curriculum.
