Morning. I stayed up too late last night so I’m dragging. Only thing planned for today is a chiro appt after lunch and then work this evening. We were supposed to have a meeting tonight at work but the majority of my coworkers couldn’t make it so my boss cancelled it. I can’t say I’m sad.

The kid didn't want to get up this morning. We're doing a countdown to Friday when we can sleep in. You watch, she'll get up at 6:30 ready to go that morning.

Morning!
Gross and rainy here...I will not miss VA winters.
Today is my volunteer day so that will be fun. I should have just enough time afterwards to mail valentines.
C seemed to be feeling alright this morning and ate a good breakfast; I asked if she wanted to go to school or stay home and she said she wanted to go so she “could show (teacher) my boo-boo, because it’s so sad” (she has a faint scrape on her arm that is 80% healed). Gotta love her flair for the dramatic.

Wet and rainy here, too. I may need to get a bit by tomorrow. Work today. It’s crazy town at the new job.

We have a pregnant tech that is 17 weeks and her water broke over the weekend. She is on bed rest. I feel so bad for her but sending her positive vibes and hope that baby stays in for a while.
So we are one tech down and it’s so busy and I feel like I’m not a lot of help because this department set up sucks. I may talk to the manager about putting me where I know I can be of help and work independently sooner rather than later. FX he goes for it.

lahdeedah I hope the baby stays put and the baby is safe! I'll be thinking of her! Nothing exciting here today. I need to get some work done, so far my motivation is lacking.

lahdeedah, oh how scary! When my water broke with A at 31 weeks I was talking to another pregnant woman in the hospital who's water broke at 25 weeks. I always wonder what ended up happening with them.

Morning.
I was at home yesterday with J, she woke up at 4am a snotty mess so i kept her home, we were both so tired and zombie like all day. We all went to bed early, I was out cold by 9.20pm. She is better today so i sent her to daycare, she ran right in to have breakfast with her buds. Now just at work catching up on work stuff....kinda

S is still sick. I am starting to think, as much as I don't want to, that I should take him to the dr. This is day 5, and now his throat is hurting. He's home with MH this morning and then with a family friend this afternoon. Tomorrow I have a sitter all day with him.
I've been lucky with him b/c he is almost never sick, but this is bananas!

jewels Poor S. If his throat is hurting it may not be a bad idea to test for strep, just in case.

jewels I think I'd take him as well. 5 days with no improvement would indicate to me that antibiotics may be needed. Has anyone noticed their kids lymph nodes swelling? Evie's did about a week ago. My friend told me not to worry about it unless it gets bigger or she gets sick again, but that it's normal due to the body fighting off an illness. Evie feels fine, but I can still feel the node on the side of her neck. My mom asked if I'm going to take her to the doctor. I don't think it's necessary and I'm sure as shit not google swollen lymph nodes.

yeah it's weird cuz his throat wasn't hurting at first. He would just say it hurt when he coughed, which was rare (like a few times each day), then yesterday it started hurting more, and he started coughing more.
I'll see how he is when I get home tonight

I'll see how he is when I get home tonight Poor guy! C just had a weird 5 day illness that was basically runny nose, cough and low grade fever for 5 days. It felt never ending, especially since he seemed to feel fine other than occasional sore throat while coughing. |

Damn, now I don't even remember when I first noticed it. One of my good friends is a nurse, I'll follow up with her and see what she thinks or call the pedi's office for their input. She feels completely fine, so I hate to take her in when not necessary. |

There are cupcakes here. I can't have any. I'm not happy about this. I also have weigh-in tomorrow for my dietbet, so even if I wasn't watching my gluten I wouldn't be able to have any.  I am however taking a pretty pink one home to Cadence. |
