Morning! Barely. SSDD here. My friend from AL is coming in town today. It’s her birthday and she is meeting family and friends here so we can hang out for her birthday weekend. I’m excited to have some time out with friends. Hoping for good food and drinks! Yay! Have fun! |

flamingo I actually thought about Maine the other day when I was looking for places to go with our travel vouchers. I want to go San Diego, but it will probably be pretty hot end of July. Still in the running, but Maine might be better temp wise. I’m glad jewels asked and you gave recommendations. Maine is on my list.

We were invited to a Super Bowl party on Sunday. They informed us today that one of their kids has influenza and they are still planning to have the party. I don’t think we’re gonna go. It is going around like crazy right now and I don’t want myself or my family to be knowingly exposed. I’m not super heartbroken, because I don’t care about the game at all.

Both schools called yesterday within 10 minutes of each other. First S school nurse called... he was playing with a friend and accidentally got kicked in the head. I heard him in the background asking to go back to class. He was completely fine, and I don't think it warranted a call. Josie tumbled down the bus steps maybe the second or third week of school and I could hear her yelling in the background that she wanted to go back to class, and just the other day she got hit in the head with a locker door that flew open. They called me both times. I think it’s part of their policy because she had a goose egg the first time and a scratch the second time. I bet parents would wonder if their kid came home with an “injury” and didn’t really share the full story. |

Also Hi! Hope the sick kiddos are feeling a little better today  . Office day today. My parents took the kids to the zoo, they had a blast. I’m beat and don’t really know why. I’m going to turn in to a couch potato for the night. |

Hi hi - k somehow slept through the night for the first time ever, so I feel somewhat human today. In confident it was a fluke, but I'll take it. N wanted a home day and I wasn't having it, so she road to school in her slippers. She also had strong opinions on her hair and came down with the ponytail holders, bow, and clip she wanted for her pigtails today. Zero percent chance any is still in her hair at pickup though.

My kids look forward to going every summer and I think it just gets better as they get older and can do more each trip. |

New dishwasher is installed, praise the lord. The guy who came is the owner of the company and was so personable. I picked his brain about appliance brands, nice to talk to someone who has good insight and isn’t trying to sell you something.
We are headed out on our play date when B gets home.

I'm leaving work in 10mins to go to target alone before picking C up. My neighbor is doing my homework and is making his 100 days shirt so I am getting some more supplies.I thought she was going to help me but she was so excited and took over and I am more than thrilled. I'll have to take her to dinner or something.

Three cheers for a good nights sleep, tallb! I would skip the party too. The flu is just rampant in Charlie’s preschool. The director was telling me this morning that between the bleach and Lysol she used to clean everything yesterday, the teachers walked in this morning basically gagging on the chemical smell. I didn’t drink my 2nd cup of coffee as quickly as I normally do this morning, and I ended up with such a caffeine headache, so I sat down with Charlie and watched a little paw patrol. I feel better now so I making a little list of Super Bowl eats. Josie wants to make cupcakes that say Go Football which tells you what kind of fans we are in this house. |

She’s never taken a pill before, so I have no idea. I guess it depends on how big it would be. I’ll have to ask about the for the next time. I mixed her lunchtime dose with chocolate syrup in a shot glass and she took it. Hopefully this will continue to do the trick. |

Is there a plan for a third in the future? If both of us get a promotion in the next 2 years there is a chance but if we don’t get the promotions we financially shouldn’t have another kid. |

Anyone watch Gilfriend’s Guide to Divorce? It’s a Bravo show, but I started it last week on Netflix because I needed a light, zone-out type show.
The main character, Abby, is so insufferable.
