Weeks/Due Date - 21w2d
The Good - feeling consistent movement now, and even had 1 kick that I could feel on the outside (just happened to have my hand resting in the right place at the right time). SOE has finally been lifted in my city, and while many of the roads are still terrible, we're not housebound anymore.
The Bad - I'm still getting random bouts of vomiting. Every time I think I'm past that stage it comes rushing back. Saturday morning I was driving to work and started puking. There was nowhere for me to safely stop so I had to puke in my lunch bag, while driving, until I reached a gas station and could pull into the parking lot. It was horrible. I think each pregnancy has progressively gotten harder on my body.
Milestones/Appointments - Next ultrasound and fetal echo is tomorrow.
To Do List - I do have a few things, but nothing until we either move or I hit 30ish weeks.

Weeks/Due Date - 18w 2d/ June 27th
The Good - starting to have more definite “that’s the baby” flutters and pokes.
The Bad - still having so much trouble with food, nausea and the desire to even eat. I’ve lost 25lbs.
Milestones/Appointments - our anatomy scan is in 9 days.
To Do List - decide on whether to actually do a shower or not, make a list of all the baby things we need.

Weeks/Due Date - 21 weeks tomorrow/June 9
The Good - Movement is still fun and now I'm regularly feeling hiccups. My office is close to an outlet mall and the Motherhood Maternity outlet there is going out of business, so everything is super discounted. I stopped in on Friday and grabbed a couple things, but I want to go back when I have more time to go through the clearance racks.
The Bad - Still feeling too large for this relatively early stage (I'm sure I will complain about this for the rest of the pregnancy). Most nights I spend at least an hour awake at some point after getting up to pee.
Milestones/Appointments - I have a regular check-up Wednesday. Next week we have our fetal echo on Tuesday and follow-up anatomy scan on Friday.
To Do List - Nothing super urgent - This is only sort of baby-related but I'm starting to try to potty train DS2. He'll turn 3 right around the time the new baby arrives. He has tended to do everything early and catches on to things quickly (we joke that he thinks he's 6 years old like his next youngest sibling), so I'm hoping that if I just start putting him in pull-ups and rewarding him for using the potty, that he'll get it on his own. I would rather not do the 3-day thing that we did for DS1 but I will if he doesn't get it on his own. Other stuff is longer-term - narrow down names, figure out when I'll start my leave (I've always waited till I go into labor but may try to do it a little earlier this time in order to get my house better organized), buy the remaining baby items I need. I fly a lot for work and already figured out when my last flights will be (mid-April/32 weeks), so I can start securing coverage for my travel meetings after that date.

Radley , you have two boys, right? If you're having a girl this time, it may be fun to have a shower. I probably wouldn't if I were having another boy - though if your friends or family want to celebrate, that's still always fun. My sister had two boys and then a girl, and everyone was really excited for her and wanted to give her stuff. When I had my second boy in a row, no one cared

We’ve given all our baby stuff to my sis who has a little boy whose almost two and she is due just before me (team green). Another of my sisters think I should have a shower no matter what since we have so much to get but honestly the idea of another “party” is exhausting. I think I’m getting old lol. I know if it’s a girl people are going to lose their shit wanting to buy pink stuff. There hasn’t been a girl born in my direct family (immediate cousins included) in nearly 19 years.

Weeks/Due Date - 18w1d, 6/28
The Good - I’m starting to feel baby more frequently, mostly symptom free
The Bad - pelvic pain
Milestones/Appointments - I am currently waiting to be called back for physical therapy. I am being seen for my pelvic/groin pain.
To Do List - I have the itch to do so much baby organizing stuff but I want to wait until after we know the sex in 2 weeks. So I’m sitting on my hands.

I personally don’t do a shower after first pregnancy. My kids are the same ages as yours and if this one happens to be the opposite sex I’ll just get what I need. People tend to give gifts when they come to see me after baby is born anyway.

trtlcrzy yeah I wouldn’t want a full on shower after the first. For my second, which was opposite sex of my first, a girlfriend planned a brunch at a restaurant for like 6-8 women, and that was really nice. She mentioned no gifts at my request but my friends brought some small items.

I really don’t wanna shower. We were part of a church when DS2 was born and it was a thing there to do diaper showers for 2+ time moms, which is really nice but I still felt awkward about it. Honestly, although I need everything I just can’t see doing another shower. Plus ugh to more parties. The kids have parties and the cousins have parties and friends. A shower just feels like that too and I’m too tired for all that lol.

sdlaura I understand how you feel about thinking you're already too big at this fairly early stage. I already had to retire a maternity shirt because it's too short. I'm nervous about the next few months.

Weeks/Due Date - 22 weeks/May 30
The Good - The random rash on my legs is going away with the help of the steroid cream the dermatologist prescribed. He sent two samples off to two different labs for biopsies, so hopefully I'll know what it is in a week or so.
The Bad - I already feel gigantic. Maybe this week will be the one when I finally participate in HDBD and I'll be able to better compare myself to you guys.
Milestones/Appointments - Next appointment isn't until mid-February, so nothing much here until then.
To Do List - Finish moving DS into his new room so we can patch/touch up the paint and clean the carpet in his old room. Then I can start organizing baby things better and have an idea of what all we really need. I've started researching car seats a little more and am intrigued by the Chicco Fit2 that can supposedly work RF until almost age 2, even though it's a bucket seat. DH and I need to talk about it a little more because it's pricier than similarly sized other Chicco seats that would only last through 1 year.

So I had my weekly fetal echho today and the tech was having a bit of trouble (baby wouldn't stay still and the PR intervals they measure can be tricky even on a good day). So she says she's gonna go get the radiologist to see if he can get it. Cool. So he comes in and sits down and starts making small talk as he's getting set up. Then he says "so I saw from your chart there's also the question of a hole or deformation in the septum, so I'm gonna see if I can get confirmation on that while I'm here, since the cardiologists are in disagreement about whether or not it's there". Then continues about the intervals and whatever else. You guys, I had NO IDEA there was a suspected problem! I tried to just be chill and mentioned my scheduled echos and when I switch over to biphysicals and will any of that change based on if he confirms the hole etc. Meanwhile I'm not even breathing watching his face while he's looking at the screen. It was the longest damn ultrasound of life (I'm sure it wasn't but it felt like it). Anyway all is good, he said there's no hole and we'll continue with my weekly's as scheduled. We walked out and DH basically shouts at me "I didn't know there was a suspected problem!!" (Keep in mind he's had to miss the majority of my ultrasounds). I was like dude neither did I! Apparently I have a good poker face because I "played that so cool". What a morning.

That's crazy danib! I'm glad it turned out to be nothing. Same. Like we know there is a risk of a heart defect, which is why I get the weekly echos. This particular defect isn't the one we are monitoring for, but either way I was under the impression that they hadn't seen anything concerning yet as generally they would say something (not the tech but the cardiologists). Or at least I assumed they would have said something. The radiologist must have assumed the same thing because he dropped it so casually. Oiy.

Weeks/Due Date - 27w, April 16 scheduled c/s
The Good - nothing out of the ordinary happening. I passed my 3 hour GT last week so I’m happy about that still.
The Bad - I’m getting so large and uncomfortable. And very tired. Sleeping is hard and I never get much deep sleep according to my Fitbit because I can’t complete a sleep cycle before waking up from discomfort.
Milestones/Appointments - I have a growth u/s tomorrow so that will be fun. I’m getting close to the end of 2nd tri!
To Do List - The nursery is painted so now we have to set up the cribs and other furniture.

Re: showers, I am having one in 2 weeks. Had it just been one more boy I wouldn’t have. But with twins I need a lot of extra bottles, swaddles, and more clothes too.
ETA: my aunt and cousin are hosting and offered, not me.

Weeks/Due Date - 27w 2d; Due April 26
The Good - my random right side abdominal and back pain isn’t as severe. Negative for abnormal lab findings related to it. Passed the GTT. I had a bad cold last week that completely kicked my ass. It turned into pneumonia and I was on antibiotics. The Good, is that I am over it and finally feeling back to normal (as normal as 7 mo pregnant feels)
The Bad - Still feeling big. Sleep is not great. Time is running out and I want to do so much more.
Milestones/Appointments - 2nd viability milestone! Lungs are more developed. Regular OB appt next week.
To Do List - get bathroom reno quotes. Schedule bathroom reno. Convince MH to switch rooms around before baby is born so we don’t have to do it when we have 3 kids in our tiny home. He’s resistant because it puts us in the worst room, but is the only thing that makes sense.

DH felt baby kick last night for the first time. I love it. We've done this 3 times already but the surprise/excitement on his face when he feels it for the first time is so great.

I got rear ended on my way home from dance with the girls. I was stopped waiting to turn onto my street and an old man apparently didn’t see me and hit the back passenger side of my car. Everyone is ok. I called my OB after hours line and they said since I’m not having any bleeding or pain that I don’t need to go in. I think my anxiety might get the best of me so I might go in anyway.

Heartbeat sounded good and now I’m back home. My hip is actually really starting to hurt so I’m icing it. I’m guessing it’s from my messed up pelvis and also the seatbelt.

Weeks/Due Date - 20 weeks
The Good - The movement is very comforting. I’m half-baked I love it!
The Bad - I finally needed insulin to get my fasting sugar levels under control. I feel like the nausea is coming back.
Milestones/Appointments - I had my anatomy scan last week. I was a bit nervous because they were taking so many pictures of his heart, but they said it was because he had is arm over his heart. Everything seems okay and my second trimester state screening came back normal.
To Do List - Nothing I can think of at the moment.

Weeks/Due Date - 16w4d / July 12th. Baby is the size of an avocado!
The Good - Heard heartbeat last week! Going strong at 160!
The Bad - nothing I guess.
Milestones/Appointments - anatomy scan on 2/21! I'm anxious that there is something wrong with this baby (I have no reason to think that, just my crazy brain!) so I can't wait to see baby and make sure everything is okay! Also hopefully find out the sex. ☺
To Do List - nothing here, either! Getting ready to start shopping for nursery stuff (crib, etc) here soon.

Weeks/Due Date - 22 weeks tomorrow, June 5th
The Good - I’ve been feeling pretty good.
The Bad - DD2 gave me her cold so that’s miserable.
Milestones/Appointments - I had my repeat anatomy scan last week. They were able to see everything and I got the official report that everything looks good! 2 weeks to viability!
To Do List - Still working on DD1s new room to make room for the baby.

I had a growth u/s yesterday. Babies are measuring within 4% of each other which is great, and also measuring right along with their due date, if not a tad ahead in some measurements, so that's good. We got a couple good pictures of Baby A's head but Baby B was facing toward my body so we couldn't get a face pic of him. I will have another growth u/s in 5 weeks, and then likely weekly appointments and possibly weekly u/s after that which is crazy.

My back hasn’t hurt too much but I feel like it’s coming.
