I'm going snowshoeing with a friend today. It should be fun but I'm nervous about it for now. I'll feel better when I'm out there and see that it's going fine.
Of course my period started early so that should be awesome for a day in the wilderness. 🤨😒😒

Its cold...the men's urine is frozen inside the porta potties cause men suck. But we got damn close parking. So glad I didn't pay $200 for parking. I started drinking beer at 9am.   |

Morning. My stomach was upset most of yesterday and Friday night, so I spent most of the day on the couch. It feels better-ish today, not perfect but I can function. I feel bad b/c B was complaining one night this week about his stomach hurting, and I kind of brushed it off as a bedtime stall tactic. We gave him some Pepto JIC but I didn't take him too seriously. If he had what I have, poor kid! #moty Tonight a new sitter is coming so DH and I can go out, we're going to grab a quick bite and see 1917  |

Morning. Dh took the kids to Sunday school and he has a meeting at church while they’re there. So I’m home drinking coffee, waiting for L to wait up.
We’re hosting family dinner tonight and I’m thinking it’s a good soup day, so I’ll need to head to the store at some point.

Morning. I’m training someone at work today so I can’t be on my phone much. Today feels like it is going faster than yesterday at least. I’ll take a nap when I get home and then I think maybe soup for supper, that sounds good.

Not much going on for us today. We have a birthday party this afternoon and I think I’m going to go to the gym in a bit before I have to bring the boys there. I have to work most days this week, so just getting ready for the work week.

I've been baking and cooking all morning for bils birthday dinner tonight. I made a sponge cake with a bourbon drizzle, bourbon pastry cream filling and covered with a fresh whipped cream ( bourbon infused of course). A, bil, his fiance and fil are all bourbon drinkers/collectors.

Hiiiii. We spent the day at one of the local(-ish) ski hills. It was Chase's first time ever, DH and Col's first time this year, and my first time in almost 7 years. It was a fun day - we stuck around the learning area with Chase on the harness and Col skiing solo, and they both did well. They had fun and left wanting more, which is what I wanted, but I'm so tired!!

hi! Busy weekend here. Today we had a birthday party then cut out early to head to Disney on ice. B loved every minute of it. S got pissy halfway through like he was too cool for it but we had a talk and he turned it around and really enjoyed the second half.

What motivated me through each step of snowshoeing was knowing it was one closer to my last. Will not become a pastime of mine. Beautiful view at the destination though.

Humph my post disappeared. I took j to biking and basketball today and now trying to get k to sleep. We stopped swaddling cold turkey and it's going about as you would expect...took like 3 hours to get her down last night and I eventually just went to bed with her. I also dropped off about 6 boxes/bags of clothes finally, but the house still feels so full. Has anyone read The Home Edit? I love their IG stories, I'm tempted to get the book.

I haven’t read it, but I started following that cleanmama IG after you mentioned it and I like it for cleaning motivation. I have looked at the home edit IG and it only makes me want to hire them to do my whole house. My goal for this week is to get most of the giveaway boxes and bags out of the house. Right now I only have 1 day off, so if it doesn’t get done that day, it probably won’t happen until next weekend. |
