Age of LO(s): 14 months Month/Cycle: 3/2 CD/DPO: CD18 RRCS: I am in the process of O'ing (maybe right as I type this?) - very clear symptoms the last 2 days and 95% positive OPK this morning. We HIO last night. I mentioned last week I'm feeling very ambivalent about a BFP this cycle because we go on a week-long cross-country trip later this month and I have terrible visions of an early loss while we're traveling. I thought I'd be cool this time around TTC but I guess you never really lose that post-loss anxiety. (yay.) GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? I'm with sweetc129, I am an equal opportunity breakfaster. But I do love eggs benedict.

Age of LO(s): 1.5
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 28/9
RRCS: I had a stupidly realistic dream that I got a positive, so leapt out of bed and tested and BFN, then got mad that I tested. Fuck you, subconscious.
GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? (Have we done this question recently? It feels familiar...) Grits, grits, grits forever.

Age of LO(s): 1 year
Month/Cycle: 1
CD/DPO: Still waiting for CD1 after stopping the pill.
RRCS: Here's a stupid question: Will ovulation happen before CD1 following the pill? Or do most women have bleeding first, then resume a normal cycle of ovulation?
GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? I love all breakfast foods! But basic French toast with maple syrup is probably my favourite. With sausage and a a sunny-side-up egg on the side.

Age of LO(s): 3 (she'll be 4 in two weeks) Month/Cycle: 5 CD/DPO: CD 23/ I think 7? RRCS: GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? (Have we done this question recently? It feels familiar...) Waffles, with real maple syrup and bacon. Imitation maple syrup is not an option. My husband is like that with fake maple syrup. He brings his own bottle of maple syrup if we go out for breakfast.

mintyblueair I think it can depend when you stop the pill. If you stopped after you got your "period" you could O right away before your next AF. If not you might need to wait for AF. Or it can also take some time to start Oing again.

robot, thank you! That makes sense. I stopped about halfway through one package so I guess I won't really know what's up until some more time passes. I really hope I go back to regular cycles quickly but I know that might not be the case.

My husband is like that with fake maple syrup. He brings his own bottle of maple syrup if we go out for breakfast. I'm not that bad. I think the worst I've done is buy some when I visited my parents, and my mom told me she wanted to make pancakes for breakfast. If I went to a restaurant, I would just eat something that doesn't require syrup.

Age of LO(s): 22 months
Month/Cycle:1 ttc, (last month we ntnp, but my fertile window at -2, bfn)
CD/DPO: 15
RRCS: My chart is all over the place. I'm not a fan of temping. If I wind up ttc for a while, I'm getting a new bbt because I don't think mine works
GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? Pancakes or eggs Benedict

GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? French Toast. Always and forever.

Age of LO(s): Almost 3.5 years
Month/Cycle:7/8
CD/DPO: 10/1...shaping uo to be a super short cycle...especially since my LP is between 9 and 10 days...
RRCS: Still feeling little twinges of sadness when I see pregnant women. Worried we waited too long.
GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? Bacon and sausages with maple syrup...but I'm lucky if I actually get this once a year. I hate cooking bacon and SO doesn't cook much so I have to wait until I luck into visiting my parents on a day they've made a big breakfast.

Hi everyone! I hope it's ok if I jump in. I was active on TB but more of a lurker on TCF.
Age of LO(s): 4
Month/Cycle: 1
CD/DPO: 19/1
RRCS: This is our first cycle TFS and I'm so nervous. I had a miscarriage before I had our rainbow baby so that is always on my mind. The thought of being responsible for 2 small people still has me scared!
GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? (Have we done this question recently? It feels familiar...) waffles with berries & whipped cream

Age of LO(s): Just turned 2
Month/Cycle: -3/-3 (1st cycle officially NTNP)
CD/DPO: 20/5
RRCS: We leave for vacation on Wednesday (with my entire extended family) and will be there if I get a BFP. Not sure how I will go about avoiding drinking without telling😬
GTKY: What is your favorite breakfast food? Biscuits and gravy. But I'm not a huge breakfast person, I'd rather order a cheeseburger!

sweetc129, I leave Monday morning. I tend to O pretty early so I think we will definitely miss this cycle but I am actually feeling okay now. I think the fact that being pregnant would have dictated how our lives would be as expats was where the pressure was really coming from. Now that we are moving back it's like a huge weight has been lifted. I feel okay with waiting a few months to really start actively trying again. (Not that we won't be trying by I'm not going to time everything)

So I just got a positive opk a week early. I was just trying to start testing early so I wouldn't miss my O, just in case.
My h wants to be OAD, but said we could tfas because he knows i want to. I told him i got the opk and it was naptime, so we totally could have taken advantage of that. He started in already with the, "don't get all crazy like last time, you know what a turn off that is", etc. So of course we didn't dtd, and he leaves tomorrow for business, so basically it's tonight or next cycle.
I just feel so sad we don't both want to ttfas and I think he might have just been paying me lip service when he said we could.
Tl;Dr I feel like my husband is just saying we can ttc and he will conveniently have excuses why we can't dtd in my fw because he doesn't want to actually ttc.

Glad I'm not alone but sorry you're feeling the same way. I'm now stuck between trying to stay optimistic and trying to decide when/if to call it quits. Have you always wanted a second or is it a relatively new decision if you don't mind my asking?

Yogurt Sorry you're feeling that way. As someone coming from the other side (I wanted to be OAD but my SO is the one who wanted a second so I eventually agreed for him) it just might take him a while to wrap his head around the idea of a second but I'm sure the further along you get in the process the more invested he'll become. It took me quite a while to feel ok with it but now I am completely in this. I'm still ok if it doesn’t happen for us but the idea of another just feels right now. Especially seeing how much SO wants another. I'm sure your H will come around. He just may need some time to get used to the idea of what your new family could look like and what it could mean for all of you:)

Yogurt Personally I would not want to have another child with someone who was only agreeing to it because it's what I wanted. IMO that is askinng for trouble.

But at some point, if one person wants to have another and the other doesn't, then someone makes a concession, in either direction. It's not unthinkable that someone might agree to have another when they previously had not wanted to. Eta: it's just so hard not to get all in my head and overanalyze his every word about ttc. I don't know. It's all such a mindfuck.

Yogurt Also it's unlikely he would have said he was ok to start trying if he wasn’t sure about a second. We didn't start trying until I was sure that a second was what I wanted also (which us why DD is 3.5). There's no way I would have started trying if I wasn't completely sure. I think the guys feel the pressure in a different way than we do during this process. For them it's the stress to perform basically on command and knowing that if they can't an entire cycle could be wasted. Even with SO wanting a second so badly we still have cycles where his head is somewhere else and our timing ends up being crap. Just be patient with him.

Typical over thinking on my part. As it turned out, he came home from work last night and was all, let's make a baby! So assuming I o today, I'll have hit -1, and O. He is away until tomorrow night, but we could possibly squeeze in a +1.

Now that I have my IUD out, my sex drive is back which is good new for DH and TTC.
We've done it twice in the last four days. Too bad I'm not sure when I'll ovulate. He thinks it'll happen before I get my period but I'm much more grounded in reality considering it took us 8 months last time.
