Well, we are talking about him... but no, I doubt anyone knew who he was when arresting him for dui. Or they were targeting him for being famous. Like ... pretty sure the police force would aim higher if they were out to catch a celebrity. And this is assuming the police that arrested him were grown men, they don't have a Damn clue who he is. |

I'm pretty sure I wore that sweatshirt look on more than a few walks of shame in college, heels and all. I was so before my time One of my favorite memories is when my girlfriend did a walk of shame, the day after Halloween, in a full out devil costume, carrying a pitchfork. We all sat in front of the dorms, all morning, so excited for her to walk up. Fun fact: 20 year old Shoshana did that very same walk of shame. Devil horns and a sexy outfit. In Spain. My roommates were floored when I rolled in for breakfast. |

I don't think anyone will be able to replace Robin Williams, but I don't hate Will Smith for the role since obviously someone else will have to do it. I like his acting but don't love that he is racist. 😬  Oh did you miss that? Lol. He and Jada have been awful toward the (Hispanic) help. I think that's what it was. |

I lost my top once and had to do the walk of shame in 90 degree heat in my zipped up mini puffer jacket. I was dying by the time I got back to the dorm

I have a post it note signed by Aaron Carter, he toured in Alaska in 2005. I worked at a hair salon and he needed product, I sold him American Crew pomade. Only time I've ever met someone remotely famous lol. I can throw that autograph away now. If only you would have donated that to the Georgia PD, they wouldn't had to frame him yesterday. |

Let's not kid ourselves though - fame and money isn't what destroyed the Carter family. They were poised to go down that road with or without the music industry and skeezy pedo Lou Pearlman (who was the Dan Schneider of boy bands).
Their entire extended family has a wicked amount of substance abuse issues going back decades. The fact that Nick has been able to mostly get out of that lifestyle and get reasonably clean is nothing short of a miracle.

Speaking of creepy pedos - I feel down a rabbit hole recently of Digital Entertainment Network - an internet company that made short lifestyle videos for teen boys in the late 90s/early 00's. You may know him as the star (alongside Sinbad) of First Kid. He was also in the Mighty Duck franchise. Brock Pierce went on to be the Director of Bitcoin Foundation. Bitcoin, if you're unfamiliar, is the completely untraceable money system used online, often on the deep web, on sites like Silk Road, to purchase guns, drugs, and humans. It is frequently used for nefarious purposes. Are you familiar at all with DEN Cher ? I know you said you rabbit-hole Dan Schneider, so I wasn't sure if you stumbled upon this group yet. I remember all the Bryan Singer drama, but I didn't realize how big it was or that a child actor was actually one of the potential perpetrators. |
