H came and got in my bed at 4am. I've always been firm on no kids in the bed with us and will return them back to their own rooms. Since my alarm goes off at 5, I let him stay because I figured by the time I got him back to sleep, I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. He moved around so much next to me I ended up not going back to sleep anyway. So now I'm back on team "go back to your own bed."

Morning! I’m taking L to the dentist and then to school. Then E and I are driving to Burbank to get my radio station prize. We might do something fun up there. Depending on how long it takes to get up there

S woke up at 4 am puking - which is not like him at all. Poor kid was just so sad. I think it’s all out now he says he feels better just tired and cold but he hasn’t eaten yet so we shall see. MH is home with him but is supposed to leave this afternoon for a trip. So I’ll be heading home early to relieve him.
Of course now I am just terrified that B will get sick. He’s been healthy for 6 days now and that might be the longest run we’ve had yet

Oh and did I mention I found out Bs allergists is also an immunologist. We have an appt in 2 weeks and I am going to discuss a full work up tgrimes cagoldi anyone else... I welcome any advice about what to ask for! |

I got to sleep in my bed last night! I was starting to worry if was a sleep regression but she seems to be feeling a little better now. Still clingy and fussy though. J is at school. I have some work to do and laundry to fold.
Also I started a thread about M.

Oh and did I mention I found out Bs allergists is also an immunologist. We have an appt in 2 weeks and I am going to discuss a full work up tgrimes cagoldi anyone else... I welcome any advice about what to ask for! Immunoglobulin levels: IgG IgM & IgA Streptococcus titers Possibly T cells - H's test was called T, B, & NK Cell Basic If his strep titers are low, they can revaccinate with the prevnar or pneumovax and test again in 30 days. This will tell them how is immune system is working. H had a good response to the vaccine, but now his levels are at or below where they were before we re-vaccinated him. |

Hi, sorry for being MIA. I've been catching up in the evenings but haven't checked in at all. My Dad finished round 1 of chemo yesterday and my brother is flying back home today. So far, so good. He's pretty exhausted but won't know anything definitively until he gets his next scan in March, after one or two more rounds (depending on if you ask my Mom or my brother) of chemo. He's in such a better place mentally than he had been, at least for now, and it's made life better for everyone. Other than that, we were more officially pulled into the greater organization as of January 1st. This acquisition has been so weird and drawn out, since it was official as of May 1st but we remained pretty much in our own lane for the rest of the calendar year. Now since it's a bank and super conservative, we have to move all our accounts into their fold to avoid any appearance of impropiety, insider trading, etc. It's a bit of a pain but at least it forces me to combine everything I've had dangling for so long. vino - I'm REALLY not thrilled about coming to your neck of the woods next week. It sounds like it's going to be brutal!! Plus after the holidays, I'm not used to having so little time witht he boys - I'm certainly not ready to leave them. Boo. |

Morning. My overnight guests arrived late last night. They are getting ready to head out while I have my coffee. It’s almost time for me to get ready for the interview. After the interview, I have some errands and browsing to do. Heading to the paint store and back to the closing Pier One.

Morning! I’m currently continuing my binge of This is Us. I have been productive today so far though! I split firewood this morning. Did the dishes. Started laundry. And showered. So now I can kick back and watch TV guilt free.

Back at work. SSDD as per usual.
I'm pretty over my officemate at this point, so I'm just laying low hoping she doesn't speak to me.
I was a little pissed when I picked up Cadence yesterday. She was so excited about her blue "eyeshadow" yesterday and when she got in the car I asked her if other kids had dressed up. She said yes, and that she washed her makeup off because kids were talking about it. I told her she shouldn't change her appearance just because of other kids. She really liked the blue and should have kept it if she liked it. She just shrugged.

School just called and they had to give S her emergency medication because she had 5 seizures back to back in 15 minutes. They said she’s back to normal now. Also, apparently we are the neighborhood cat feeding station. This is not my cat....and he is kinda creepy.  |

Morning!
We’re here at the pediatrician for B’s 6 y.o. well-check.
The Build A Bear party last night was a success! It definitely raised the bar for parties this year, lol. Each child got to choose from an assortment of bears, and any outfit they wanted. So we are now the proud owner of a Jedi bear (complete with light saber, bc I’m a sucker 😂)

I welcome any advice about what to ask for! IME, and according to my immunologist, and Allergist/immunologist is not usually trained well enough in immunology to look for immunodeficiencies. So, if you’re concerned about that with B I would certainly ask, but if you feel like you’re being dismissed I would absolutely find a doctor who treats Immunological issues exclusively. Glad he’s feeling better at the moment! |
