Oh my goodness, flamingo. It is a never ending disaster with that house. I am so glad you only have a few months left. mwhip, that situation seems so backwards and very unfair to all of the workers, especially without communication. I hope they’re able to rectify it.

Yay lahdeedah , I'm glad you finally got it done! Be sure to exfoliate and book another appointment for best results! Also thanks for the reminder, I've got to book a maintenance appt. I bought a package, so I already have it booked 6 weeks out. Hopefully the pain will be less intense. flamingo Unfortunately, the results are not immediate. You have to do 6-8 sessions for best results, usually 6-8 weeks apart. ETA: when I’m done with the sessions, I’ll let you know about the results. sands42 If you ask vino, she says It’s worth it.

So Mh is home again. 🙄 Why didn’t he stay home when I had to work. He has his show on the iPad way too loud, while on the phone. He fields phone calls from players, coaches, and acquaintances in his field ALL DAY. Go to WORK! I wish I didn’t find his shenanigans so annoying. I just want to get through my to do list in relative peace. It’s his last week before the semester starts and I believe this is his last day staying home.

My esthetician always is like, well you're here, how about one more grid.....I just cringe, say a prayer and tell her to do it, she laughs and then tortures me further. I hate her, then tip her. It's a very confusing relationship.

All my Christmas stuff is down but I just cannot bring myself to take down all the cards, I tell my family it's because of Ukrainian Christmas, but that's today and I'm not ready yet.

Hey. We met a friend at an inflatable place this morning. S was very emotional and dramatic getting ready to leave. I don’t know what her deal is this week but I’m over it. I’m waiting for her to finish eating her lunch and then it’s nap time. That’s crap mwhip. They better cover starting 1/1. flamingo what a letdown. I hope they get it replaced ASAP.

I'm so excited but have no idea if I can watch it...I don't know if I have pop tv😣. With the world literally on fire and war imminent, this is basically the best thing of 2020 so far.

Hi hi - it's supposed to snow shortly and j has early release, but aftercare is open. I am leaving to fetch N right after her nap. Mh is supposed to get j, but apparently he can't seem to put K down so I may have to get him 🤔. Last night j was sent to his room for being rude at pickup and not helping, which wasn't the end of the world, but then he refused to stay in his room and kept talking back to me which resulted in us not talking for the rest of the night 😔.
In other news, my friend says we can use her mountain house in CO this summer, but now researching it, I think we are like 5 years too early for this type of trip. The summer activities are hiking, biking, rafting, ziplines... Maybe the beach and some theme parks are more age appropriate 😔

Both HR and my boss agree that our coverage should have been seemless. HR is out sick today, but I sent her a text so she knows what's going on. My boss has emailed all the information to the HR at the people that bought us. I don't think she has heard anything back. I mean, I get it, these things happen. But we have a lot of production employees who wouldn't understand and would just pay it, somehow, unfairly. I think it needs to be communicated to everyone, that there is an issue being worked through.
I got in the office about 10:30. My boss wanted to go to yoga at noon, even though I had been out. I have accomplished nothing today!

How long should a ridge cap on your roof last? We had ours replaced in 2016 and noticed while putting decorations away in the attic that there is leaking . Roofer says we need a new ridge cap...it's only been 3 years?! I have no idea, but that blows! How much will it cost?

Roofer says we need a new ridge cap...it's only been 3 years?! That seems...not normal. Was the whole roof replaced in '16? I wonder if it's still under warranty? (When we put our new roof, I want to say labor was 10 years and material was 20 or 30? Which in FL is not realistic, but I would definitely expect more than 3!) eta: I see it was just the cap that was done in '16. I would still see if there was a warranty.

I have no idea, but that blows! How much will it cost? They are still getting back to us with the number but last time it was about $800. It's an older roof so I thought it might be time for a new one altogether, but they say it is on good shape otherwise Is it the same company that did the cap in 2016?

DH left for his work trip early this morning so of course that means C has a fever. I slept maybe 6 hours combined in the past 2 days. I’m posting in the group.

That’s annoying mamabear. I hope they can do something for you. We have had ours on for almost 6 years with no issues. I’m sorry kim22. I hope C is feeling better quickly.

Is it the same company that did the cap in 2016? Yep. We're considering getting another estimate/evaluation. It was only a year warranty so it's not looking like anything would be covered. It wouldn’t hurt to get another opinion.

I would get a 2nd opinion and asked if it is common for that type of repair to only last that long. I’m sorry you have to deal with it.
