I do Ibotta occasionally when I remember. I’m not good at remembering to use any of those apps except Rakuten. I tried a bunch too and found it all cumbersome (minus ebates) so I’m hoping this one will stick. |

I also use dosh. That one is the best because you just link a credit or debit card and you get points for shopping at stores. It does all the work for you. If anyone is interested, I'll send you my code. I’ll try dosh! |

hi!
We were out the door early for speech, then I took B for a quick haircut before getting him home to catch the bus. I've been trying to tidy up but C seems to be on a mission to destroy as fast as I can get things put away. She is currently singing Christmas songs and working on a floor puzzle.
I'm trying not to obsess over houses but doing a poor job. There are exactly 4 for sale in our favorite neighborhood; of those, 3 have pools (trying to avoid), 2 are significantly larger than what we want, 2 are way-overpriced, and 1 is definitely a project. The 'project' would be doable for us and is a great size, but the yard is pretty small. Sigh. Logically I know things will keep hitting the market so I am trying not to stress.

Hi girls!
It was a little tough getting everyone out the door this morning, just because the babies were extra clingy. Usual Monday morning stuff, plus having been at Pete’s all weekend. I heard X and Sparky wail “Mamaaaaa!” 749 times within an hour, I think.
Dude was awesome and sprang out of bed, got dressed and brushed teeth immediately, and like the time keeper he is, was watching the clock announcing when we had only five minutes before it was time to go. It was nice having him home with me during the day for a couple weeks.

flamingo I was in your shoes last year. I made it to the end of January before I couldn’t help but obsess over finding a house. Hope you can find something to take your mind off of it. Easier said than done, I know.

Now that the kids are back in school I want to make a list of all the stuff that needs purging, maintenance, etc. b/n now and our trip in March. I'm hoping being busy/checking things off a list will be helpful  |

Probably a UO but I miss the thrill of house hunting. I look on Zillow daily and make comparisons.
My favorite find is a bother house we were considering was purchased a few months after us and they are renovating and updating Zillow with new pictures.

I do enjoy looking at listings and if there were more inventory I think I'd feel less stressed. Also, it's hard being 700 miles away; with that said, if something good pops up before our trip I will send my mom to look at it with our realtor and if I need to fly down early, I can. I will always be a real estate stalker, though...in another life I think I'd be a good realtor  |

I do get redfin emails about old houses I had favorited that have a status change..lately it's mostly ones that have been torn down and listed for 3x as much as when we looked at it though 😂 |

I’m constantly looking on Zillow at houses. I think our goal is to stay here for like 5ish more years and get all of our debt paid off so that we can build a different house. I don’t want to have to settle for anything so I want to have a good down payment and some in savings set aside to make that happen. We should make a pretty good profit off of the sale of our house when we sell too. But...it doesn’t stop me from looking at houses for sale.

I love love love looking at houses. S and I go to open houses all the time, he has definitely inherited that love from me. And I love looking at floor plans. I think in another life I would have wanted to be an architect or something.
I didn't get to look at all when we bought our house. Long story but basically MH obsessed over the house from afar for years, it came on the market and we were not looking to buy (or even move in together) and we decided to buy it.
There are so many things I'd change about the house, and I feel a little sad about never getting to really look for houses. We still look periodically but will only move if the "perfect" house comes up within our specific elementary school zone (so like less than 1 square mile).
IT doesn't sop me from looking on line all the time.

MH had already bought this house before we started dating, so I've never gone through the process of house hunting. I look all the time online.

My skin condition is quickly accelerating. So, while I know gluten is a problem for me for other reasons, it’s clearly not the culprit for my HS flaring.
I’ve been eating tons of tomatoes, so I’m afraid that means nightshade are a problem. Boo.

After going through purchasing a house this past year, I do not like looking at houses. Well, that is if I actually am looking to buy. It’s don’t like the stress of it. And that day waiting to hear from the owners about our offer was something. I couldn’t get the pit out of my stomach. I’m sure at some point we will have to move again, but I hope it’s many years down the road.

I still get emails from zillow daily and look at houses. Keeps me up to date on what the market is doing.
My mom sells real estate. It's hard work. You work all hours. With sometimes shitty, demanding clients. And it's hard to get in and establish your name, to actually make money. While I love looking at houses, I would never want to sell after her stories.
