Weeks/Due Date - 18w2d / June 6
Symptoms - pretty much over the symptoms now, unless we count having a super weak bladder.
The Good - I get to see baby this week. It's been like 3 weeks since I heard there heartbeat so I'm anxious/excited too see that baby is still fine. I've felt some movement but it's so inconsistent that it's not reassuring yet.
The Bad - I've been so sick lately (cough/cold) and am having such a hard time getting over it. Doesn't help that were basically in snowmageddon over here. My mom keeps getting mad at me for shoveling but I really don't have a choice (she's come to help a few times but lives 25 minutes away and has to go over the highway to get here, which I feel super guilty about especially when the roads are still snow covered).
Milestones/Appointments - Fetal Echo on Wednesday and OB on Thursday.
To Do List - Set up stroller (when it gets here) and make sure I like it. Then buy a compatible car seat.

Weeks/Due Date - 15w1d, 6/28
Symptoms - heartburn, shortness of breath, heavy and sore boobs, forgetfulness
The Good - mostly I’m feeling pretty good.
The Bad - I really want to start feeling movement, it’s always such a reassurance when that happens.
Milestones/Appointments - wed is my 16w appt.
To Do List - clean and rearrange my living room now that Christmas has been taken down, yet caught up on laundry.

Weeks/Due Date - 15w 2d/June 27th
Symptoms - insomnia, sore boobs, serious food aversion.
The Good - not throwing up, not quite as fatigued, boob soreness seems to be a little better.
The Bad - I’m still terrified. I though once we made it to the 2nd tri I’d be ok, but now I’m in this no mans land with few appointments and not really feeling the baby and just praying it’s okay in there. PAL brain is no joke.
Milestones/Appointments - I have a glucose test next week, I’ll have to have a few because I’m on metformin for insulin resistant PCOS.
To Do List - everything but I’m not going to buy anything or make a list until the anatomy scan. Or viability. One.

Is there a neighborhood kid that you could hire to shovel for you? Also, which stroller did you order? I did that the year I had DS2 because of my hip injury, and honestly I found it irritating- waiting on them to be available, they never widened it enough, and piled most of it at the bottom of the driveway which made turning into the road scary (you get what you pay for really, and I can't afford a professional). A lot of the times I ended up just doing it myself (or going out later and cleaning it up more) so it's just not worth it in the end. I ordered the Joovy Caboose stand-on tandum stroller. It should have been here by now, but the weather has delayed it.

Weeks/Due Date - 16 weeks, 6 weeks
Symptoms - Stuffy nose and the night sweats. I hate the way my sweat smells, so I’m constantly showering and bathing.
The Good - I’ve started to feel some slight movement. OB appointment tomorrow.
The Bad - Heartburn is still pretty bad.
Milestones/Appointments - A ton this month. One tomorrow and two with the MFM (anatomy scan and fetal echo)
To Do List - Rest and enjoy the rest of my winter break, 3 weeks left until spring semester.

Weeks/due date - 18 weeks tomorrow, June 9
Symptoms - not much. I need to pee often when standing/walking around, but somehow made it through a 2+ hour movie over the weekend without needing to pee
Good - anatomy scan was normal!
Bad - not a ton of movement but that makes sense now that I know I have an anterior placenta
Appointments - I just had my anatomy scan and monthly appt Friday and today. So now I have another month until my fetal echo and follow up with perinatology (there were a couple minor views they couldn’t get because we did the anatomy scan before 18 weeks)
To do - tell my CEO/work. I was planning to do it today since we had the anatomy scan Friday, but the timing didn’t feel right. I would like to do it before our (belated) work holiday party Thursday evening at a brewery. Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday..

danib I have the joovy caboose (among a gazillion other strollers ) and don’t love it. It got squeaky really fast and is so much harder to push than my BOB. I ended up using the single BOB instead and having my older one just sit on the front. I will use the double BOB when running or when I need both kids strapped in.

sdlaura I’m not telling dean until probably spring break. My college acts so weird about pregnancy. There are very few youngish female professors. I’m using my sick leave for the summer after birth and then I’m thinking off taking the whole fall 2020 semester off with parental leave. We get 12 weeks, but the semester is only 16 weeks. I know he’s going to lose his shit. 🤷🏽♀️ I didn’t take that much time off with DD because I wasn’t tenure, but I am now and I will also have a toddler.

ttcbabyj I’m with you on waiting. Unless you have to tell your work that you’re pregnant because of some physical hazard (which I know is the case for some women), I see no advantage to telling earlier. I think it just gets you treated differently (even if subconsciously) and potentially passed over for promotions or raises. My firm’s CEO and I both have second grade girls who go to school in the same district, so we have some mutual friends and run into each other at soccer games and around town. Similar situations for some other coworkers. So I feel like I need to share soon because it would look worse if he finds out through the grapevine. Honestly, I don’t know if I’d want a 6 month maternity leave, though. I feel like sending baby to daycare around 3/4 months helps them get on a schedule and helps me feel more normal again. After my last baby I started by going back 3-4 days a week for the first couple months back after a 3-month maternity leave, and that worked out well. I had some flexibility to keep baby home one day a week or send him for a half day and get a few things done to get my life back together for the first couple months back.

sdlaura oh he will definitely start daycare at 3/4 months. 😂😂 Currently, DD goes part time, M/W/F. I only have class on Mondays and Wednesdays and Fridays I usually have meetings. During DD’s first year I did a nanny share and had a nanny come on T/Th I sometimes need to work from home. I want to take some time to see if I will need a P/T nanny or can I make it work with both of them going 3 days a week, or just DD goes full time. If DD is potty trained by the summer, she can go to preschool. So there are so many variables, I just need to test things out without the added stress of work.

We won't be doing any running or trails or anything, it's for city walking and errands (mall, etc). I definitely need the double, and DS2 isn't independent (or trustworthy lol) enough to walk, especially if we're out for more than 20 minutes...

danib, I think it would be fine for the mall, but didn’t hold up well on the sidewalk for us. I bought a used Maclaren twin with my first two kids 17 months apart for a Disney trip and that was awesome. I could close it with one hand while holding a kid and it pushed really well. It was a lot better for malls/city/folding easily and being light than the double bob. Also the seats reclined for naps and it had a good awning. A friend of mine has kids 16 months apart and she uses it now.

Weeks/Due Date - 19 weeks/May 30
Symptoms - Nothing too bad. Nexium is controlling my heartburn really well.
The Good - More consistent movement!
The Bad - I'm already struggling to get comfortable in some places, which makes me really nervous for the next 20+ weeks.
Milestones/Appointments - Next week is my next appointment and ultrasound (team green, so it seems weird to call it an anatomy scan). I'm excited to see baby again!
To Do List - DD is fully moved to her new room, so now we just need to get her old room ready for DS to move in (patch nail holes, paint, and clean the carpet). We should probably get more motivated about finding an infant carrier soon too.

Weeks/Due Date - 24w, twins will be delivered no later than scheduled c/s on April 16.
Symptoms - heartburn, really uncomfortable after sitting for too long, tired.
The Good - Viability week! That's always good. My heartburn prescription meds are starting to work. Babies still kicking and moving a lot.
The Bad - sleeping sucks as usual. Sitting upright is uncomfortable. Wish I could have a recliner at work lol.
Milestones/Appointments - Viability week. I had an appt yesterday and both heartbeats sounded great. We scheduled a c/s for April 16 if the babies don't come earlier so that is exciting!
To Do List - Next weekend my mom is coming to paint the nursery so we can get that organized after the paint is done.

I have the city select stroller, which is a convertible that you can attach a 2nd seat to, and I love it. It handles amazing and has a huge basket. Worked great when my 3 year old was an infant and I’m happy to be using it with an infant seat again this time around. It’s spends but I 100% think it’s worth it.

Just had my first fetal echo. Everything looks great and they did some quick measurements as well. Baby is 9ozs and measuring right on track (short legs lol but DS2 was the same). Next Tuesday is another echho plus anatomy scan.

Appt went great. I got to see baby on the handheld ultrasound again. It was moving like crazy, which was cool. HR was 155. I told my OB that I’ve had fevers the last few days and about my symptoms so she decided to run a flu test. That came back negative so I’m just going to keep it moving with treating it like a cold.

Weeks/Due Date - 24w 3d, April 26
Symptoms - right sided upper abdominal pain - doc said it could be round ligament pain, but I thought that was lower down. She did run some blood work today, but I didn’t ask what she was looking specifically for. We’ll see if the results show anything. Otherwise, no symptoms, thankfully.
The Good - In the sweet spot of 2nd tri. Feeling lots of movement which is always reassuring (also a PgAL)
The Bad - I know 3rd tri is right around the corner and I’m going to start getting tired again. I have a physical job and it becomes hard to do as I get bigger.
Milestones/Appointments - isn’t there something big with 24 weeks? I had the GTT today and just a basic check up. I graduate from my GP to my OB for my next check in 4 weeks. (Unusual, but they work in the same practice and its what they always do)
To Do List - I can start weeding through stored clothes and cry at the girl ones I’ll never use again before giving them away.

Weeks/Due Date - 18+5, June 5
Symptoms - I’ve been feeling pretty good this week. I haven’t had any headaches which is amazing since I was averaging 3-4/ week for the last month or so.
The Good - I’m loving feeling the consistent movement. It’s nice to have the reassurance.
The Bad - Nothing right now. I’m feeling pretty good!
Milestones/Appointments - Anatomy scan in 2 days. We are team green. I can’t get DH to budge. We’ve been TG for our others as well. I just thought it would be fun to find out once.
To Do List - I need to start cleaning out the 3rd floor bedroom so we can move DD1 up there and move the other kiddos around but I am having trouble keeping up with the housework that needs done so I’m not sure when I’ll find the time to do that.

hangry I will also be crying as I give away girl clothes - I’ve kept them the past 7+ years in the hopes we would have another girl, but we’re on our third boy in a row and after this we are definitely done. I still don’t plan to give any away until after the baby arrives, though. I get overly worried and still freak out about something not working out, even though I’m 18 weeks now.

hangry I talked to my OB about a pain on the upper left side today. She said it could either be one of 3 things: referred round ligament pain, a Charlie horse in one of my ab muscles or I need to drink more water. She suggested I take magnesium for the Charlie horses (I have been getting them in my legs already)

trtlcrzy it can’t hurt to add magnesium, I’ll try that. Thanks! sdlaura I totally get that mindset. My H and I had already decided that sadly, if this didn’t work out, we would move on. I’ll definitely be picking out some key items that will go into a memories box or something. Yes danib, viability! A great one to hit!!

Weeks/Due Date - 15w2d (3d? I don't understand exactly the progression)/June 30
Symptoms - still food aversions and nausea, no vomiting for about a week which is nice, but I have headaches, stairs suck, and I still can barely keep my eyes open most days
The Good - I *think* I've felt some movement off and on? Hard to tell exactly, but it feels like what I remember.
The Bad - all the symptoms and all the PAL anxiety
Milestones/Appointments - I have an early anatomy scan and amnio tomorrow, as well as the usual OB and MFM visits. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be told I need to eat more because I think I lost weight again, but honestly that just seems to be par for the course for me.
To Do List - try to keep calm until we get the amnio blood type results back
edited because I can't count!

Weeks/Due Date - 17+6/June 13
Symptoms - heartburn/acid reflux, still get random nausea if I let myself get too hungry, but other than that I’m pretty good
The Good - yesterday I started feeling more obvious movements, which was cool because it was my birthday, ha.
The Bad - not much to complain about at the moment.
Milestones/Appointments - appt on 1/22 then the anatomy scan on 1/29. Still feels so far away.
To Do List - still settling on the list of stuff we need to get. I think I’ll actually start making purchases next month. We need to figure out how we’re going to set everything up since we’ll be sharing a room the first few months.
