4 miles today, day 260! Disney Princess Half Marathon on Sunday 😁 Are you dressing up? As the Paris one last year so many people dressed up as various characters No. My friend I'm here with, we bought matching tanks in different neon colors. I dressed up six years ago when I did the Avengers half. I ran as Ironman wore an Ironman Under Armour top and a gold and red tulle skirt. 13 miles of digging tulle out from between my thighs really turned me off of dressing up!

cnf I can't run in tulle either. And after the first tinkerbell half I discovered wings fall in the same category. Now I just kind of "Disney bound" my races. So the last Disneyland Star Wars race I wore a white running top, white running pants, and my hair in buns. For the Universal Minions run it was a yellow top, blue running skirt, and yellow beanie. Which reminds me I need to brainstorm for Poppy for the Universal Trolls race.

Met up with a friend to do 5 miles this morning, but we were racing a storm so we ended up just doing a 5k, so we wouldn't be on the far side of the lake when the rain started.

Did the 7km night trail last night. And the storm that was predicted stayed away until this morning. Was fun doing it with friends as well.

Race done! Finished in 3:05 which is painfully slow for me. It's my slowest half time by A LOT, but it was great to run with my bestie. It was her first half and we had a blast. Would recommend!

Got a nice 2.5 mile in at the Y this morning. Bonus that none of the kids lost their shits in tot watch. This might become a daily thing.

Ooff it's been a while since I've done hills! 1.6 miles home from the car dealership was rough.
But the 1.6 miles back was so nice!

Did a mile the day after my half and it was brutal.
Yesterday was 2.6 miles of 2/1 run walk intervals. Today was 3 miles of the same.

I ran an easy 2 this morning. I'm so brutally exhausted though I suspect tomorrow's run will be an afternoon one.

I've been doing some running, but not as much since I'm not training for anything big. I do have a 5k next Saturday that I hope to PR at, but idk. Anyway, I did 2 quick miles on the indoor track last night followed by some lifting.

Saturday: 2 miles on the trail Sunday: 3 miles on the gym indoor track.
The indoor track leads to me an "AITA" question: I did the first 2 miles in the direction of the day, but kept having to dodge walkers that couldn't not stay in a straightish line to save their lives. I had to pause a few times while they were weaving before I could get around them, and since the track is small (12 loops = 1 mile), I came up on them many, many times and they never seemed to get any more aware. I switched direction for the 3rd mile figuring that at least they'll see me coming (since they can't hear me with headphones and earbuds). One older dude mouthed something along the lines of "wrong direction" I just replied "I know, I'm just trying to not surprise the walkers." After a couple of loops I think he got it, but should I have just tolerated the meanderers?

And I have before when I used to run on an indoor track that was 8 laps to a mile filled with old people.

Hellish 1.5 miles this morning. Really frustrating that it takes so much effort to get the kids to the Y and then only uh able to run 1.5. Hoping tomorrow is better.

2 miles in this morning. Forgot my earbuds. Omg, so boring. Doing intervals seemed to help.
