What kind of supplements are you all taking?? I'm starting a prenatal and a baby aspirin and acai and myo-inositol, but wondering if I should take anything else I’m taking a prenatal, vitamin D, and baby aspirin. I’ll also start progesterone at 3dpo.

I’m coming up on my FW and after last month’s loss, I’m feeling some kind of way about trying again. TTCAL is a bitch but I have to keep on keeping on, I suppose.

If you took an OPK and it was "almost" positive, then a day later the test line starts fading, can you assume you ovulated early?
I took a test on Monday and the control line was barely darker than the test line. I had to really squint to tell which was darker. I've taken an OPK every single day since then and the line is fading. Today, the line was light pink.
My cycle used to be 32 days, then it jumped to 36-38 days the past 4 months. I'm starting to assume I'm back to a 32 day cycle and I missed ovulation.

It’s more of a precaution than anything. My RE lets people do it with medicated cycles, just to eliminate a potential cause of problems.

I’m sorry ironcorgi. That’s what it sounds like to me. Rant. I hate OPKs so much. My cycles/ovulation are so irregular, that even with combined with temping it was useless. I drove myself crazy trying to get them to work for me. I’m so jealous when people make them seem so easy to use.

We DTD last Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday so maybe there is still hope. I hate OPKs too. I quit using them for awhile, but started using them again to try and catch early/late ovulation. Clearly it isn't working.

I'm starting a prenatal and a baby aspirin and acai and myo-inositol, but wondering if I should take anything else I’m taking a prenatal, vitamin D, methyl folate, CoQ10, vitamin C, baby aspirin, and progesterone. I may add in B6 and B12 for next cycle. Basically an entire pharmacy. I’m working with an RE, though.

Hugs Fearsy My first loss we just dove right back in since we were doing treatments. Our second it took us a few months to be ready. It’s so hard.

I use the OPKs with lines until it is getting close to positive then switch to the clear blue digital with the smiley faces. It helps a lot and would show peak for me. It’s more expensive but I think worth it. Fingers crossed you were able to catch it this cycle!

I've heard from a few people IRL that they are worth the extra cost!

Hugs Fearsy My first loss we just dove right back in since we were doing treatments. Our second it took us a few months to be ready. It’s so hard. It is so tough. My first two losses were before I had LC so this most recent one has thrown me off some. Which I guess is normal but gahhh.

Also re: OPK use - I found an app called “Premom” that you can take pictures of your ovulation tests and it will help you compare the difference in test/control lines as well as help confirm “peak” ovulation based on the tests. I guess the software looks for the increase in darkness and the decrease to decide which is most positive? I don’t know. Just started using it and it’s helped some. It’s free so might be worth checking out for those who have really fast LH surges or trouble determining positive/negative.

I'm not really sure when I ovulated TBH. When I ovulate, I can usually turn a positive for a few days before it goes negative again. So I'm hoping I ovulated last Thursday/Friday... but 🤷♀️. Besides the days I mentioned, we didn't DTD at all in January due to AF, me being sick, and then my mom being put in ICU. So, if I ovulated any earlier, I know I'm out this cycle. I'm really pissed that I didnt start testing sooner, but this month has been literal hell.

I've been using that the last 2 cycles which, I was half taking the pill half not, I'm really bad with it. But I'm off off and we are officially trying this cycle

I had my mid cycle monitoring appointment yesterday. I have 2 follicles at almost 17, so I had to take another shot of Gonal F, will trigger Monday, and IUI Wednesday.
I’m now seeing the RE who helped us conceive the twins 7 years ago, and we were sitting there bullshitting for 15 minutes. I’m so glad I made the decision to go back to him and left the closer RE I had been seeing. He agreed with me that I was being triggered too early and my IUI was too early for the cycles with the closer RE.
I told him about the other RE making me cry and how talking to him and him validating my thoughts and feelings, I just wanted to give him a hug. He gave me a huge hug before he left the room, a few minutes after he called me a little shit lol. I’m glad I actually have a chance this time and that I’m going somewhere that feels like family.

How are your tests looking this morning, @zweber? Fingers crossed the indent w/color was the very beginning of something! 🤞🏻 so MH brought home some more tests yesterday because that was my last one. and i tested with FMU this morning and it immediately showed up but still VERY faint. it’s another FRER so i’m still very “is this a sick joke?” about it. AF due tomorrow so i’m nervous as shit.
