I love our solo. I’m sure you’ve already discovered, but that thing burns wicked hot. Yay we got one for Christmas too but only burned small sticks in it for s’mores on Christmas night. MH said it chewed through them so fast. He prepped a bunch of wood yesterday and we’re planning on a big fire tonight. I’m excited! im excited. Mine isn’t here yet bc back order, but it should come next week.

Hi all! Opinion wanted. I’m in between a Chloe Marcie cross body or the Hermès Evelyne bag. There is about a 2k difference 😳. Does anyone have either/both? Would love any reviews! (I tried to post images but suck at this) I have the Chloe Marcie doublecarry one and love it. I think it’s a great bag and looks so nice. It holds a lot of stuff and has held up very well.

I’ve been creeping this thread for the past few days looking for ideas. I want a new work bag. I have a huge tote I got for cheap 2 years ago with the intention of replacing it with something. I am not fancy nor do I work at a place where people dress up but I like nice things. It’s for carrying stuff between my car and work and will sit on my desk. I have about $500 Canadian dollars to work with. I’m considering a camo Lululemon backpack which I can use outside of work for travel and and kids stuff and then getting a nicer crossbody. (I’m loving Polene) I’m also looking at the Cuyuna structured tote since it’s about the same size as I have. I really like these bags but I’m not sure if they will hold up www.rebeccaminkoff.com/products/megan-tote-hs20mdxt44-black?variant=31373179551838www.rebeccaminkoff.com/collections/sale/products/bowie-nylon-tote-hf19ebwte5-black

Taitai I loooove the wonton. I'll probably be scoping those out. Maybe for my birthday! I also kind of dig the chunky bead ones as they remind me of the BV cassette bags that I also get a kick out of. I have to imagine those aren't too practical though.

August Blooms, I like that first RM you posted! It's very similar looking to Cuyana's tote, and can't beat that price point. I feel like there are posters here who've gotten RM bags and enjoyed them, so I think that's a safe purchase. Hopefully one of them will chime in.

I've been looking for a classic black bag to replace a Guess bag I'd bought when I was 19. It was a surprisingly awesome bag and held up great for about 15 years, and then a strap broke. I have no other black bags so I feel this is a gap that needs to be remedied. Right now, I'm wavering between these two:

Ls2012 those are such different looks! Are you looking for something causal?

Ls2012 those are such different looks! Are you looking for something causal? I think something that could maybe be both elevated-casual and going-out bag. I like the gold hardware on them. The size is good. No middle zipper pocket getting in the way. With the elegant bag, I love that snap closure. With the saddle bag, I like the shoulder carry. Both have that smooth black leather that I really prefer. Price point is much better on the Cuyana, too.

Do they ship to Canada? I got the Allyn tote to transport my laptop to and from work and I love it.

Lululemon advertised their sale on my FB so I snagged a festival bag for $49. I’ve been using bags that are essentially diagonal backpacks (Kavu and Patagonia) since they give me 2 free hands but now that the kid is 5 I’m excited to get away from that. Starting with an easy crossbody and the sky is the limit 😂

August Blooms I have the cuyana structured tote. I use it as an everyday tote and I love it. The leather is amazing and I love that it is big and open and easy to toss things into. I'm not sure you will like it sitting on your desk...it does tend to flop over or slouch and I've only been using mine for about 3 weeks. It may get heavy, depending on what you put in it. I'm not sure I'd want to use it to carry a laptop, for example.

(I tried to post images but suck at this) I have a Chloe medium Marcie bag. That bag has been to hell and back and has held up beautifully. It's a little heavy but for everything I've put it through, including carrying around shit for a a toddler and baby, it still looks good.

I have a few Rebecca Minkoff bags and although I don’t use them every day, they are good quality and beautiful. I love them. I think either of those totes would hold up well and you can’t beat the price.

Taitai I loooove the wonton. I'll probably be scoping those out. Maybe for my birthday! I also kind of dig the chunky bead ones as they remind me of the BV cassette bags that I also get a kick out of. I have to imagine those aren't too practical though. I didn’t get the see the chunky bead wonton at the store, but I did see the carres wontons, and I love the look of them. Kind of reminiscent of the weave that BV does, but more deconstructed and with more texture. I really liked it, but the smooth leather on the wonton is so classic - I had to go that route. I also agree that the chunky bead probably wouldn’t be very practical. Oh, one other thing on the wonton that I like - it’s not heavy at all. Super light and soft, but it’s still able to maintain its shape. I really think that is a unique feature about the design. My Celine and Chloe bags do get heavy, and the wonton is a lot more comfortable to carry around for extended periods. I think my next Boyy bag (I am going to stick with this brand and support a solid company - esp with economic uncertainty from the pandemic) will be the Soft Karl. I fell in love with it in the store - the pebbled leather is suuuper soft and has a very luxurious feel to it. I think it looks so chic with the buckle undone in the front too. The advantage of the soft vs the regular Karl is that the soft pebbled leather won’t show a crease at the top of the flap either, which can happen with the standard Karl, given the fact that it’s more structured/smooth leather. That type of leather doesn’t do as well if you bend it repeatedly. The soft is definitely a more slouchy look, but I really like it - trying to expand my horizons a bit when it comes to structure. Soft Karl: Regular Karl:

ss265 They do ship to Canada, but I think I want something a little less structured since I don’t carry a laptop. jorkzy That’s really nice, I’m eyeing the All in Tote, since I need something less structured. I love that it’s Canadian, no shipping or surprise D’s & Ts. Have you purchased any of their other items? They have some really cute shoes.

I’m so mad. I finally decided to treat myself to a bag that I had been debating on and was in my Bloomingdale’s cart. I go to check out and it’s sold out, and I can’t find it anywhere. NO MORE DEBATING PURCHASES!
