flamingo I’m rooting for LSU. No one tell snoopmommymom’s H that I was pulling for them yesterday, too. Our team did not belong there... Yes, I’m rooting for LSU too. I find Coach O kind of endearing, even though I can’t understand 90% of what he says 😂 I’m tired of Clemson and was hoping OSU would get it done, but no luck. I can’t stand OSU, so I was happy Clemson won. |

Morning. My sister and I went out for a very early breakfast, out favourite place wasn’t even open 🤦🏼♀️. Quiet day with the kids after, did some packing for vacation tomorrow  . Stupid mild winter is bringing on my hayfever early this year, so I’m sneezing my little head off 🤧. My parents, sister and BIL are coming over for dinner in a bit . |

Good morning. We woke up to a nice blanket of snow. The girls are outside playing in it while DH is clearing the driveway. I, of course, am warm inside. Last night my allergies or something got to me so I have a super runny nose and sore throat, fun.

Morning! Did a target run and found out LO removed my lanyard which had my driver’s license so I wasn’t able to buy DayQuil for C. So I went home got it and just ran to Walgreens. Hoping the kids take a good nap today to get some cleaning done.

Omg tgrimes. That game was painful yesterday. And to have to listen to mh and bil reduce their expectations of the outcome was tough. I couldn’t watch after the second half. They should have just called the game. 😂 |

We hit the road early this morning (just before 5) and made it home around 2 pm. Grey, dreary weather greeted us...5 more months, 5 more months... luckily we left the house very clean and the tree and poinsettias were in good shape 🙌🏻
So we’re mostly unpacked and I’ve already started purging. B was happy enough to fill a box with old toys but C will be a tougher customer, I think I’ll have to do her stuff when she’s not around.

I’m not a huge LSU fan either but he seems likable— what you see is what you get, which is kind of refreshing. Also, I really felt for the OC that lost his DIL in the plane crash. How awful and so sad. |

We heard it was trying to make an emergency landing (maybe that was the smoke?) and hit power lines on the way down. But not sure how accurate that was. |

I asked if he looked for an expiration date. No, because his head told him it was old, so he tossed it. I had literally just bought it. It was not old. |

Well, the kids’ healthy streak has come to an end. M is laying down with a mild fever. He says he is just cold , but he seems like he doesn’t feel great. I hope it’s just a sinus/head cold and doesn’t turn into something more. I need to run out to grab Tylenol. It’s the one time I don’t have it packed, of course.

Colin spiked a fever this evening. DH, Chase and I have been passing one thing after another around for the last month or so and he's been fine. He was still fine this evening but was complaining about being cold immediately after dinner and laid down on the couch until it was time to go upstairs. I got a 101.7 reading, poor kiddo.

C got his first ever haircut today. He looks old and I miss his curls. Tomorrow morning C goes to the pulmonologist and then we are meeting some of T’s friends at the bounce place. Right now all the kids are sleeping, DH is out watching football, and I’m writing a paper.

M took an hour nap and seems to be feeling better despite the low fever. Gave him Tylenol anyway just in case. Kids are bathed and ready for bed and I’m about to relax in my mom’s soaker tub. Even put some epsom salt in. Is my old showing? 😆 I wish I would have gotten some wine to enjoy.

We took down our tree today 😭 I didn’t want to but my husband insisted because he leaves Wednesday and he said I would never take it down. And he’s not wrong. 😆 This is hilarious! I’ve been wanting to take my tree down since Christmas day evening but the kids keep saying no. Instead I’ve been deep cleaning room by room around the Santa’s and homemade everything, the house is going to sparkle come Jan5th |

We stayed around the house all day. A built a work bench in the garage and has been organizing all day. We did go to dinner because we needed dog food.

Hi hi - my in-laws are here and it's my SIL's birthday. It's lovely out, so we went to the playground earlier and heading out to an early dinner shortly and then back for cake. I hope it's festive enough, we did get her a gift. Unrelated, I just used a magic eraser on the inside of my kitchen sink and it was so satisfying/alarming. I have an unnatural affection for the Magic Eraser. |
