I wish I took today off but I didn’t. I need to think about what days I want off next year. A nanny is coming over today while C and I are at work. I just hope L behaves.

I'm in the office. Today was my day to 'cover the phones.' I've been here 42 minutes and the phone hasn't rang once. I don't expect it to either. But I'm getting through emails.

Morning. We have no plans for today. DH is working and the kids are playing with all of their new toys. I told one of our friends that we could do something today so I should find out what she has in mind. Mostly I just want to be lazy.

Hi. I’m at work. Our schedule is steady and so far all the patients have come. I’ve had quite a few days in this dept where half the patients no show so it would be so that everyone will show up the day after Christmas. Definitely makes the day go by faster.

Morning. I took the day off so the boys could play with their new toys, and it didn't take long to question my life decisions. All of them. LOL

I heard from my Dad today that they got his biopsy results on Christmas Eve, which confirmed what they already suspected. So the petscan is next, then meeting with an oncologist to talk options. It sucks and he doesn't seem to have any fight in him. I'm hoping he can recover a bit from the pneumonia and kick this attitude. Sigh.

Back to the monsters.

Kids are playing really nicely with the lol woodzeez camper my brother gifted N and it's adorable. K is napping on me and my cousin just texted that it's baby day for her, so I'll be stalking my phone.

My sis arrives tonight at my moms and my SIL arrives here tomorrow, so I need to mentally prepare for a busy few days.

Morning. Dh is at work, the kids were up and played nicely and let me sleep until 8:30. L is still sleeping 😳 he has snot all over his face so he’s obviously not feeling the best.

We’ll probably head to the children’s museum once he wakes up. N and H are starting to get restless, especially since we didn’t leave the house yesterday.

The favorite gift appears to be their suitcases. Lol. They played with them all day yesterday. I’m so glad we didn’t go overboard on toys.

I got several playmobil toys/lil woodzez toys for Letty and I’m already going crazy trying to keep the pieces together 🥴 She just loves that type of stuff so much and will play with it for hours. Morning everyone,

Our Christmas was lovely and the kids did amazing, J is really understanding whats going on this year and it’s adorable. We opened presents and hung around the house until the afternoon when we went to my Aunts house, it was good and I ate and drank far too much. I was feeing so sick by midnight. I definitely overindulged for all of December so I’ll be eating only vegetables until further notice 😐.

Today I’ll be going through all the kids toys to rearranging and send some for donations.

I don't know. They assumed small cell due to how quickly it spread but my Mom said they got very limited info with the results, just that it was a high grade tumor. I can't find anything that explains how grade and SC vs. nsc align, and my parents seem a bit at a loss as well. Like, thanks for "results" that leave us with just as many questions. They probably won't get any real answers until they meet with the oncologist.

Hi friends! I wanted to pop in and say thank you to all of you sweet souls that sent our family Christmas cards! I loved them, and next year I plan on being back on my game!

MH kills me. It’s 70 degrees out today and when I call to see what they have been up to- because I know they slept late and he’s just been in the house- it’s just as I thought. We had a pajama day yesterday so they could play with all the toys. Take them outside while the weather is good. It’s supposed to rain this weekend while we are traveling and will be holed up in MIL’s house with 5 other people. Why not give them some fresh air and outside play time while you can? And then when I’m asking questions he’s like - I KNOW. Apparently not, dude. 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄

joelies I'm sorry about the news you got. I hope after he has some time to process, he gets his fight back.

I stayed at work until noon. The phone rang 2 times. One was a vendor that I'm friends with, who knew I was pissed about going in, just calling to be a dick. The other was a cold call. So stupid.

We went to target for clearance sale and didnt find anything. Went to Home Depot and bought more Christmas lights.

I signed up for a yoga class tomorrow, hopefully it gives me some energy because I'm seriously lacking.
