I just got a Christmas package from one of my best friends friend that included the tiniest Christmas socks, with a sweet note saying she hoped with all her heart that I can use them year ☺️.

And my treadmill is coming next Monday, woohoo!! Too bad I've had zero luck passing off my old one. I hate sending it to the dump since it's still operational, I feel so wasteful. Whomp, whomp. Do you have nextdoor for your neighborhood? You could post on there. OR just put it on your curb, I'm sure someone will stop and take it.

I sent a text to my MIL to see how H did last night. Apparently at some point he crawled out of the pack n play and got into bed between them. Neither one of them realized it until around 6am when he was breathing funny from all of the snot. Lol. Lol. I hope he didn’t get any snot puddles on their bedding. 😂 Poor kid. Hope he feels better soon.

I'll see about a Nextdoor for the area. I'm in the woods on a partially dirt road so putting it out isn't an option. It would probably get stuck in the mud and ice if we even tried.

tgrimes. That stinks. When I get my bubble for B, H is more than welcome to share it. joelies where have you tried? I've had good luck getting rid of stuff on our town's local facebook pages. mwhip I'd take the longer periods for perimenopause. I seem to be getting a shorter and shorter cycle. It used to be 26-27 days, with no variations, never late or early. Now it ranges anywhere from 19 - 26 days, averaging around 24 days. I feel like I always have my period!!

B had his holiday concert this morning. I was so concerned he wouldn't participate b/c a) he is not a great listener, b) he is the youngest in his class, and he is VERY young for his age, and c) he's been out for 7 or the past 12 school days so how much has he practiced??
He did great. Stood there and sang the whole time, occasionally interrupting himself to say "HI MOMMY!" then he ran over to us after for the biggest hugs. Leaving when it was over, however, was not delightful. He was sobbing and saying he wanted to leave with us. That was not fun.

jewels - I've just offered it to people at work. I'm not on Facebook so that hasn't been an option and honestly it's a pretty small town anyway. I may just have to call 1-800-Got-Junk to get it out in time. Not ideal but I need it gone.

Add me to the messed up periods is this peri menopause group. I really know so little about it, I’m like an 8 year old, learning about first periods. I now bleed for my actual period and when I ovulate so I get like 6 good days a month.
Currently relaxing alone while DS is in therapy. DD has the cardiologist and the gastroenterologist after this so lots of sitting around for me today. Luckily DH is off so I don’t have to bring any extra kids with me.

I just barely got the bourbon. They lost it there for a minute and I was about to lose it on them after I drove 40 minutes. Took the boys to lunch where Jackson behaved horribly. Now nursing Mallory before heading home. Laundry and wrapping for the rest of the day.

Hi Everyone!! I hope the holiday stress isn't too bad for everyone. I just have a few things to finish up and some food to cook and then I think I'm done. Tomorrow we are running Christmas candy to daycare, the fire station and the police station then we have Mass in the late afternoon. My parents are coming up to spend Christmas Eve/Morning at my house, it will be weird to be the host for Christmas Eve, my mom normally holds that roll. They are driving back mid Christmas morning to one of my sister's houses and then we are doing Christmas dinner at my other sister's house with my BIL's family. That will be interesting lol.
Tim annoyed the crap out of me last night. I wrapped gifts while we watched the Chiefs game, he laid on the couch and didn't lift a finger. Luckily he is making up for it by cleaning house today while I'm at work.
Charlee is getting over HFM and another ear infection. Poor kiddo has had a rough go lately but she has started walking!!

Waiting at the car wash. My car needs it desperately since it's been under 30 degrees for weeks. Its finally 50 today. I need to drag the train table up stairs and dust it off. I gave it away since they never play with it anymore.

Good story in regards to the period discussion Yesterday I was telling DH how amazing the new newest apple watch is. That it even tracks your period. He says "whats there to track. Doesn't it just come every 28 days?" Men are so dumb. He also doesn't seem to remember the hell I had with my long cycles and cysts years ago.

Test has been bought, but H got home earlier than I thought he was going to, so it may wait til tomorrow morning.
I did talk to my mom and she thinks its perimenopause. She said everything sounds like what she went through.

It’s great! A lot to do and figure out to get totally settled- but we really like it! There are some things to change in the future... finish the basement, paint the kitchen cabinets... etc but I’m not in a rush.

tgrimes They are happy to be back near my parents who have stopped by almost every single day lol. They‘ve also played with some of their old friends... So I think they’re good to go. I did really realize how much moving effects my kids since they are not little anymore so we will be staying put now. I don’t get to change my mind anymore 😬😆

wedding Fitbit says my period started today. Spoiler: it didn't. It's usually pretty good about it, like within a day. Other than that month I skipped entirely, but that ended up being due to a medication increase. ..... Which also caused all my other perimenopause symptoms. mwhip have you had any med changes recently?

I survived the mall AND Target. I didn't have it in me to attempt the grocery store. We're going to a steakhouse tonight, then drive around looking at lights. It's our tradition. I'll go into the grocery store tomorrow, but just for odds and ends, nothing major.

M is arguing with us that he doesn’t want to bathe because he stayed in his pajamas all day again. We had pajama day yesterday and never left the house, so he didn’t take a bath and he likes that. I’m trying to tell him that it’s day 2 and whether he left the house or not, he is taking a bath tonight. Two days is my limit, sorry kid. Wash your butt.
He is literally having a full on meltdown about it and it’s not even bath time. 🤦🏽♀️

I forgot to take the kids to see Santa this year. I’m a little sad because a Santa came to DD’s holiday concert and C was so excited, we watch the video like 30 times a day.

DD’s cardiologist appointment showed she has turbulent blood flow between her heart and her lungs. The doctor said because the speed and size are normal, we just monitor and she will hopefully outgrow it. They heard her murmur today too. She cleared her for the migraine meds though and gastro officially diagnosed abdominal migraines so now I have to get back in touch with the neurologist to get the prescription.
I have also failed at having an equal number of gifts for each kid to open so I’m trying to find little things to even it out. The one I spent the most on has the least boxes and should be old enough to understand but he will feel sorry for himself anyway.
