I’m currently working on my 2nd of 3 assignments for this week. E and C are downstairs watching something and LO is in his room since he can’t watch tv since he was bad at school this week (4 out of 5 days he came home with notes). I’m trying to get it done but I’m not really feeling this weeks assignments. I need to get it done so I can do other things during nap time

Morning. DH has to work today so I’m solo parenting. Right now the girls are playing with H’s new Ariel LEGO set. We will go to see santa in a few hours.

Morning. We out up the Christmas tree and although it’s huge, it’s fits and it was beautiful. I had a little moment seeing the socks on the mantle (I wanted to hang a little extra sock on it on Christmas morning to tell the kids), but the house looks nice and the kids love it. Dd looked adorable in her little elf dress. They’re currently in front of the tv watching a Christmas movie and eating dinner (Saturday thing) & I’m feeling very lucky that this is my little family. Hope that you girls all have a lovely day today!

Hi ladies. I'm ready for a long boring day at work. At least I'll have a break at some point when S and the girls come up for concession sales for my unit.
Last night Cass fell asleep on top of me. (I was woken up by her snoring.) I was on the couch with Cass between my legs, and Maddie was between hers. The dog was wedging me in from the other side. It was an acrobatic act to get out of that and into my bed.

The last few days really got away from me. I read early this morning and have literally forgotten everything.

I’m waiting at dance for Josie, then we’re off to pick up our gingerbread men and sugar cookies to decorate. I’m excited for a messy afternoon!

Last night I had a dream about my 7th grade science teacher. He was one of my favorite teachers of all time. Very good person who challenged his students, worked us hard, had a great sense of humor, and a big heart. I had gone back to the school to visit him. He died of cancer a few years ago. He was on the Amazing Race and I've watched the episodes a few times to see him in action. It's something how people can be what is seemingly such a small part of your life and have such a profound impact. *sigh*

Morning!
Dinner out last night was great, the food was delicious and it was nice to get out of the normal routine of life.Just at soccer now and not sure what’s happening for the rest of the day.
Randomly at soccer the other week I ran into a friend from about 10 years ago, we chatted and said we’d catch up, she still had my number memorized which is hilarious. We might meet up today and catch up on the last 10 years, which includes a couple kids for the both of us and a divorce on her side. We used to have a blast partying and hanging out together so I’m excited she’s back in my life although it’ll be different than the nights out at bars wearing wigs like we used to 😉

Morning! nam2013 I meant to comment yesterday, but I do love a big oversized tree, so I’m glad you were able to cram it in and are enjoying it and the holiday spirit this weekend  We’ve been out and about doing party errands, picked up the Star Wars balloons, and are now stopping for lunch before heading home. Party is tmrw at 2 but I think everything is about done so we’re just relaxing this afternoon—oh, and watching the Army-Navy game (go Navy!) |

Hi hi - I got my eyes checked this morning and have a slightly different prescription, so I walked over to warby Parker but it was a mob scene and I couldn't decide by myself so I gave up. Then rushed home and nursed k and now at a roller skating party with j since I'm more coordinated than mh...and of course j refuses to try🙄. I am not taking him to parties at new venues again for a while, this is a waste of time and I'll have to pump to make up for not bringing the baby.
The rain seems to be clearing so we may head to the boat parade of lights at my mom's tonight..if nothing else to force car naps for all of them.

Hello. I’m alive. My mom stuck around for like an hour when I got home but didn’t mention until she was leaving that T was still up watching tv in the back room. Then I stayed up with DH until almost 1. We’ve both been stressed and needed to have some fun together.
C is better today and we are having a small party for his birthday with my parents, FIL, grandma, and my sister and her family. I’ve been cleaning and baking but I ordered the food from a restaurant.

Ww just left my niece's baptism which was 1.5 hours long and A was a beast to wrangle. Headed to a restaurant now for a late lunch/early dinner with them. I fear it's going to be a no drinking shindig, I need a glass of wine!

We saw santa and both girls were happy to talk to him and sit on his lap. My coworker/friend just text me that her baby was born this morning! I’m going to go up and visit them around 5, when she was texting me she said she was going to take a nap so I’m giving her some time. I’m so excited for newborn snuggles!

Whew, we were at the restaurant for 3 hours. I was worried about A since he didn't nap and was soooo tired but luckily he was chill tired watching videos and not cranky tired. It was a small group of 10 adults and 4 kids. They didn't provide alcohol but luckily people were drinking and just paying for it. Every person had 1 drink except I had 2 and MH had 3 😂.

We only have two park days, so tomorrow we won’t be able to get to the park until noon if all the flights go as planned. Such an inconvenience. I already submitted by complaint. I texted with someone from the hotel, but they said something about refunding the points we used for the night, so hopefully we at least get that back. |

lahdeedah that sucks that you guys didnt get to leave yesterday. I hope you are currently on your way and have a wonderful trip. We are up early today. Headed to the Chiefs game around 8. It's supposed to snow most of the game so it could make for an interesting drive home. Last night, the news was telling people not to leave their house unless necessary. Ha, tell that to 80,000 fans!
