We were invited to have pancakes with Santa this morning at 945 with lo’s “girlfriend”

Then after nap we are doing E’s 18 month photos along with lo for a sibling one.

I also have to finish my finals for my class. Next class starts Tuesday.

Mh took Cadence to gymnastics. The tablet has already been taken away for the rest of the day because she wasn't listening.
I need to get our card photo taken today and tomorrow we're going to go see the Nutcracker.

Morning!

C was up overnight for some unknown reason; of course she went back to sleep easily but I did not. I woke up this morning and it was 9:45 😳😳

The elementary school holiday program was last night and was so cute. We sat with B’s buddy Andrew’s parents, who I really like. The K classes sang 4 songs and were adorable.

It’s pretty chilly here today so no big plans, probably just watching football. Hard to believe the season is coming to a close, this fall has flown by.

Morning. I'm at work. I woke up in a panic because I guess I remembered that I never set my alarm, luckily it was 2:30am so I wasn't late for work. I got my alarm set..but couldn't fall back asleep. After I get home, then take my niece home, I'm going to nap so hard. We have a friend's little girl's birthday party this evening so hopefully DH is home in time to go.

The kids spent the night at grandma’s but she said her throat still hurt this morning. I may take her to a clinic after her party if she’s still complaining.

Hayden is doing better. My MIL said his pack n play days are over though. She found him crying at 4 am in the hallway with his sleep sack off. I’m wondering if the kids would sleep in the same bed at her house.

Morning ladies. Busy day ahead. I have a TKD belt test this morning. I can't wait until it's done. The last 2 nights at practice have been relatively easy but I've felt like I wanted to die. I can't wait to finally be 100% and over this fatigue. And MH let the instructor rope our family into doing a demo form together. Nothing like performing in front of everyone. 🤦‍♀️

Following the test there will be a holiday party at the dojang and then on the way home I'm taking the girls to a military event. Some local organization hosts parties every other month or so for military families that involve crafts and activity booths. The girls always enjoy them. Some local guy who built a functional R2D2 will be there and his robot it pretty cool.

Morning! Good day here. MH took the kids to the kids museum and my sister is picking me up in a bit and we have an overnight girls night with our other sisters and Mom.

M2 woke up at 5am randomly, too. MH handled it. He came back to our bed around 8am and said that he wouldn’t go back to sleep because he wanted to watch TV and eat. I woke up earlier than I would have liked with stomach discomfort. So it was not a great night of sleep for most of us. So tired.

We picked up our tree last night so will decorate today. I think I’m going back to Home Depot to buy a patio set. It’s not exactly what I want, but the price is right, so we’ll make do. Also have plans to go to a Christmas festival later this evening. Hoping to get a good pic so I can order our Christmas cards and send them out in the next few days.

Must have been something in the air last night, Cadence woke up too and ended up in my bed.
She's been having quite a few bad dreams. She said last night she dreamt my arms and eyes were broken. 😬

Morning all.

We’re kinda slow this morning but it’s almost soccer time so I best get moving soon-ish.

It’s MH birthday on Tuesday and I’ve got him an Oilers jersey, actually two to pick from, and tickets to a hockey game with B for tonight with our neighbours, since it’s a late game I’ll stay home with J. It’s a surprise and he has no idea, I think I’ll even wait until this afternoon to give it to him, I’m loving the suspense.

Oh and I showed B this video of a boy tying his shoes and now B is obsessed and got it on the second try, but he wont stop tying now and I’m sure I’ll be instructed to buy lace shoes now.

Morning. Busy day over here. My mom and I went to pick out a Christmas tree, I visited my sister and baby nephew & we took my MIL to the Christmas fair. I’m exhausted. My mom told my grandma about last week, she called me and I had a hard time keeping it together. I’m really want to take a bath and have some time to myself.

Morning! I was gone all week for work, first in NJ and then in the city. It was exhausting and so freaking cold!!

Chase, DH and I are all sick, so we're laying low today. Chase is so grumpy and tired, I feel so badly for him. DH has to take a work calls or two and I have a few things to do to put the house back together after being gone, but that's really it. Thank goodness, I need a quiet-ish day right now.

I think I might try thus with Dude and see if it helps him consistently be able to the his shoes.

Mine double up at my parents’ and do ok. They do keep a rail that we put on C’s side since she’s used to that, and it’s a 4-poster bed so it’s kind of high.

vino that is the video we used to teach B. He does it very painstakingly and it’s torturous for me to watch but since he’s outgrown Velcro shoes, whatever gets his laces fastened 😂🙌🏻

I just need my MIL to take all of the markers, pens, scissors, etc out of the room. I don’t trust H.

I love that shoe lacing video but I don’t think Josie’s sneakers have that extra hole. Going to investigate now.
ETA: only one pair does but it is doable even without the extra hole (like on a pair of keds lace ups)

Hi all!

Super lazy day today. Rock class for S this morning and otherwise been laying low watching movies and playing

B seems to be doing much better. But I’ve thought that before and then the next day he’s sick again so I’m keeping my expectations low.

tgrimes my boys shared a bed on vacation and it was so cute. But it was a pull out bed and fairly large.

S only had 1 pair of lace up shoes so I have not even thought about teaching him to tie. Guess I better get on that!

tgrimes my kid shared a double bed on vacation, we rolled up some blankets and put them in the middle, so they’d each have their ‘own’ section, it went perfectly.
