No rain for us, but damn the wind. I think we had 60mph gusts overnight. So weird for this time of year. We put heavy lumber on our inflatables so they wouldn't get blown to shit.
I'm at work today, I do not want to be. Should be a slow day, hopefully. And we should get to leave early.

Well I'm sick. I get sick all the time at holidays. I think my body just lets it's defenses down when I can finally relax. On the up side since we're going to OR today we'll get an earlier start.

Well I'm sick. I get sick all the time at holidays. I think my body just lets it's defenses down when I can finally relax. On the up side since we're going to OR today we'll get an earlier start. I hope you can kick it quickly. |

M woke me up at 6. Less than a minute later I hear H slam his bedroom door and come look for us. Why are y’all up so early?
MH dropped H off at daycare so I don’t have to bring him to M’s dentist appt. The pediatric dentist was booked for cleanings so she’s going to mine. Hopefully it goes well.

Morning...that wind is no joke. I slept through it...but this was in the next town over...if you look closely, it looks like a game of dominoes but with electric poles.  And I spent my morning picking up my patio furniture from all over my yard as well as the Amazon boxes that were stacked perfectly for the garbage man today...they were all over the yard. |

We get a 3 hour early release today at work for the holiday. S and I will head to AR to spend time with MH who is there at his business. Then Friday we will go from there to IL to have a late thanksgiving with my family, then we will be back home Sunday just in time to start the new school week and work week.

We got 3 or 4 inches of snow overnight. Apparently the roads are all sheets of ice so I’m glad I don’t have to go anywhere today. We are on thanksgiving break and of course my kids couldn’t sleep in. I’m planning to do some food prep for tomorrow at some point today. I may need to run to the grocery store, much to my dismay. vino I hope B’s appt goes well today inthekitty feel better! |

Last day of work! It’s shaping up to be a slow day. I guess no one wants to have a cardiac test the day before Thanksgiving.
M2 has been coughing and snotty for the past two nights. We’ve been on the breathing treatments twice a day to keep it at bay. I hope he kicks the cough soon since we will be traveling to Memphis to be with Mh’s family tomorrow. I hate to have him hacking around everyone.
Also, for those that were not into switching phones, I’m feeling the same way about switching cars. Going from a car with little technology to a car with much technology and buttons is confusing. It’s going to take me forever to be fluent in which buttons work what screen. I feel like an old trying to work a smartphone.

Hi girls!
I’ve been reading along, but haven’t had much chance to post.
My fibro has finally kicked my ass so badly it’s completely unbearable, so my rheumatologist wants to get me in right away. I’m going to see him immediately after we conclude our work conference call this morning. We’ve been able to manage all these years with no meds, and I hope that can continue.
My mom and SD are coming into town for the next several days. The kids are going to be so thrilled to have them here.

Morning!
B had speech first thing and then we hustled home to meet the bus; school is a half-day today which means each K session goes for 2 hours. So he was picked up around 9:45 and will get home around lunchtime.
C and I ran to Fresh Market and I’m going to try and get some chopping/prep work done today.
