guster I hope J feels better when she wakes up! Cute dog! I'm a huge fan of dogs. Yes, they are a lot of work. But what they give back, definitely outweighs the work. I'd have 20 more if I had the time and space.

I went pretty dark with my hair today. When I got home, H said he didnt like it, that he prefers it blonde. Tough shit dude, you're stuck with it like this.

guster I was never a dog person. MH came with a dog and he was such a good dog but he was always H’s dog. Our dog now is totally mine since I was the one home with her. When I went back to work, I think I missed the dog more than the kids.

Sounds like everyone had good parties and mostly fun days! Sorry about J. guster Hope she is feeling better and there is no more puke. Our game was a disaster. I’m just glad the season is over. 🥴 |

Tomorrow is one of his besties little sister’s party. It’s a breakfast pajama party. Should be fun. Fun! I saw a party hosted at Dunkin Donuts recently (friend of a friend's blog) that was very cute. Along those lines, a friend in elementary school had a breakfast party, except it was a surprise (for the guests). The invitations were for a slumber party on a Sat. night, but instead they had a limo pick up all the girls early that Sat. morning and took us out for breakfast in our pjs. Of course as the limo picked up more girls, we'd all go inside to wake up the next guest. I thought it was so clever, and the mom didn't have to host a dozen 2nd graders overnight. Win-win. |

When I went back to work, I think I missed the dog more than the kids. Same with our dog...it was my H's dream to have a lab, but she has totally become ‘my’ dog. I hope our next dog will be more of a family dog. This one loves my H and tolerates the kids, but she is definitely the displaced queen and she's not going to be happy about it  |

I think I felt bad because the baby loves the sitter’s house because he loves the other kids but the dog is all alone. |

It’s 3 hours past bedtime and C is jumping in his crib. I heard albuteral could make kids hyper but didn’t have that issue with the others who were on it. I really want to go to sleep.

Huh, that's interesting. I thought all ovens had to have lock features as a safety measure for the self clean function. Mine wont lock if the oven is on. Only for cleaning. I tried locking my oven tonight and couldn’t figure it out. Tricky things |

The dogs are excited and so happy to see me, every day! |

He’s an old man, but made a miraculous recovery from a few months. He lived with Tillie for almost 8 years, and does fine as long as he has his own space. |

Trying to sleep when your nose is stuffed up is the worst. I did not sleep well last night obv, so today is going to be a long day at work. H has another birthday party today, which DH is thrilled to miss watching football for.

Glad she seems to be better guster. I was very fortunate with M too and she rarely threw up. With C we've had several public vomit debacles. 🤷♀️ Team with the right dog the rewards outweigh the work. He's a cutie. I hope it works out. |

I'm making everyone clean this morning then we're going to a birthday party for a TKD kid.
Afterwards my FiL is coming over for dinner. I'm meh on seeing him, but really looking forward to the meal I'm cooking. Lolz. For those wondering--butternut squash soup, mashed potatoes, honey roasted turkey, stuffing, rolls, and apple pie. We're having a mini Thanksgiving feast.

Morning!
I'm on day 3 of this cold/sore throat. I don't *think* it's strep (based on when I've had it in the past), but man is it annoying. I'd much rather have a cough or stuffy nose. If it hasn't improved by tmrw I may hit urgent care just to make sure.
DH is doing his long flight today so he left early and won't be home til this evening. I've survived 2 hours! I just finished B's party invites and sent them to the printer, so those should go out tomorrow. Now I may drag some Christmas stuff down from the attic and let the kids decorate the playroom tree later.

Don’t think I mentioned that this past week M2 started to want his diaper off immediately after he poops. Only he doesn’t come to tell us. Wherever he is he just starts to undress and rip it off of himself.🤦🏽♀️ Cheers to potty training!
