Although it seems I cannot get my eating under control I have managed to stop biting my nails. It's gross, I know. So now to keep it up I'm painting my nails and it seems at though they are chipping by day 2/3 ish. Give me all your nail care steps, base coat and top coat. Tried any that you've noticed make a difference? I've tried no base coat, colour then Sally Hansen Gel top coat and it lasts about 4 days, I've just yesterday put on the Revlon base coat and am hoping that makes a difference.

vino Essie polish is my favorite. I used to use OPI, but I think Essie is better. Seche Vite has the best top coat. CND Sticky is the base coat I use. I rarely paint my nails anymore, even with those brands, I'd be good to get 4-5 days out of them. I'm hard on my nails since I type all day long. I now use nail strips, which last longer, but shipping to Canada would be expensive.

X’s teacher pulled me aside to say X is already meeting his IEP goals for the end of the year, and we’re just at the end of the first trimester. So they’re going to update his goals and we’ll go from there. Super proud of my awesome little sweetheart. This weekend was rough. The kids were awesome, I am just exhausted. And when the babies are super clingy, I get very resentful of Pete, which is clearly unproductive. Blah. vino I’ve been working out, but not observing my eating habits as closely as I need to. Thinking of doing the next Whole Life Challenge that starts in mid-January. Should we start a N13 team? |

I washed all my bedding yesterday. Mh just informed me that one of the cats puked all over my bed this morning.
Anyone looking for a cat for Christmas? I can ship you one....or 5. ....only partially kidding.

Sorry for the sick kiddos, tgrimes and jewels . I feel you on the clinginess guster , Chase is going through it right now too. I hate drop-offs, I can't stand leaving when I know he's upset but I have to go. It just sucks.  Congrats nam2013! |

Are they easy to apply? how long do they last? how do you get them off? Super easy to apply. It's one of those, the more you use them, the better you get. Lots of YouTube videos to help explain as well. Some people say they last 2 weeks, I call bullshit on that. I change mine every weekend, just because I get bored. It depends on the design. Glitters tend to hold up better than solids for some reason. And there is a difference between brands as well. I cut a cotton round in half, put nail polish remover on it, then wrap it in aluminum foil for a few minutes, they come right off. Doesn't damage your nails like gel or acrylic. I can send you some samples if you want to try them to know that you'd like them, if you want. I have a bit of a problem when it comes to them...I probably have 50 packages at home currently. |

I’m off today but sent S to the babysitter so I could get caught up on things around the house. Got some pics back from our session a few weeks ago.
I will post them in the group since there is family in most of them. But for a last minute thrown together session I’m happy with them. Just wish MH could have been there.

This is my plan for 2020...we'll buy our house and move, DH will deploy 2ish months later...he'll come home and it will all be beautiful! Right?! eta: re: nails, I am worthless at doing my own so I do gel manicures. Upside: last longer than a normal mani, and kind of add some thickness to your nail, so while you're in the brittle grow-out phase, they will help with that. That is how my sister finally broke her nail-biting habit, too. Downside: Expense, and I find that after 2 or 3 gel manicures in a row, I need to give my nails a break. |

I just got to snuggle my new nephew! He’s so tiny, a little over 7.2lbs, so very good for a 37w on the dot. You really do forget how tiny they are!

Ok, I have to get this crazy ass dream out of my head before I forget it. I was at so sort of outdoor venue helping set up for current day Backstreet Boys. lahdeedah was also attending so I ran to her hotel room, while she wasn’t there, to use her crazy hair curling iron. I ended up accidentally breaking it, but she said it still worked fine and that I didn’t need to replace it after I offered. BSB didn’t play any of their old stuff because they said they couldn’t get rights to it. My sister and I sat backstage during the show and were so excited. Somehow everyone then went to some sort of Asian country. We were a swimming cove for a while and then went on some sort of trolley tour through the city. We went through this massive shopping place where it would stop for a while to let us look around/buy things. Most stuff was junk but interesting. I woke up before we made it out of the store. All of it was bizarre. |

Kind of expensive but lasts so long on my nails. Everything else chips so fast. |
