How much weight has everyone gained so far?
I can't understand why but I'm currently at my lowest weight in years. I'm 11w. In the morning I don't look pregnant at all but by the afternoon I have a HUGE bump that is hard to hide.
I asked the midwife and she said not to be concerned unless I'm vomiting, but of course I'm concerned anyway.

You probably don't have much of an appetite.
For me sometimes no wine calories come into play. 🍷
Im not having your problem but I wish I was. Im up 4 lbs and I feel puffy. My weight is usually pretty consistent so I hate this phase. I'm ready to look pregnant and not puffy.

Yes I am thinking it may be from lack of alcohol and only one cup of coffee (and the cream and sugar that goes with it.) Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

I am technically "obese" and have lost 20 pounds so far. With each of my previous pregnancies I gained 5 total. That is healthy and okay for me but it is not for everyone! If your doc is comfortable and you are comfortable then you are fine :-)

I'm only 7 weeks, so no weight gain yet. However, I am finding it really frustrating that my clothes are already not fitting right! Shorts and jeans that fit me perfectly just 2 weeks ago didn't fit when I tried them on this weekend, even though the number on the scale hasn't changed.

Also the bloat struggle is still very real. Both previous times I was larger at 8-10 weeks than I was at 14-16 despite losing weight! Just embrace the belly 😜

Lack of alcohol I think will definitely be a factor for me too All weekend at cookouts I kept thinking of how much more food I could eat now that I'm not drinking any of my calories!

I'm early, but am already pretty puffy. Certainly look bigger already than with DD.
I had really bad extreme swelling at the end of my first pregnancy. Like to the point the labor nurses thought my legs could start weeping like a diabetic person. So a lot of water weight.
I'll start weekly monitoring appointments at 30/32 weeks for preterm labor.

I have gained 5 lbs so far but definitely have a blump. I started out at my lowest adult weight though.

I'm staying away from all scales!!! And this thread!! I feel like I've gained a good amount. Last pregnancy I only gained 33 pounds. This time around I'm as big as I was at 6 months pregnant. Yikes.

I'm right there with you. I am huge and it doesn't help that I am super constipated so I am extra bloated.

Weight gain in the first trimester definitely doesn't mean a lot. Whether you do or don't. As long as you're taking your prenatal and eating something baby will get what it needs.
With my first I lost almost 10 pounds in first tri. Couldn't stomach anything but saltines for weeks. Was +20 from my starting weight by the end. Similar scenario with my second. My third I didn't really lose or gain in the first tri, gained a total of 30, so 10 more than my other pregnancies. But I was so swollen and lost 25lbs by 1 week PP. With this pregnancy I'm down a pound at 11 weeks. It'll all be fine.

I have lost some weight so far but that's expected since I don't eat much. I agree that no wine has made a big difference in my body. My face and thighs feel slimmer. But I do have a little protruding blump.

I haven't checked (we don't have a scale but I usually check on my mom's every couple of weeks....hers has a warning for preg women not to use it though!) but I'm sure I'm up a few pounds. I don't worry about preggo weight gain. I know it could be different this time, but last time the weight came off so easy with nursing. I gained about 50 lbs last time! My normal size is average to me (others say I'm "skinny" but I don't see it like that), and the docs never said a peep about weight gain so I'll just roll with it.
I think the most important thing to do is stay active and try to make good eating choices, like when not pregnant. The weight thing will work itself out in most cases and if there's a problem the doc/midwife would speak up, I think.

I am the worst. I have gained like 8lbs already. I am already overweight so I really didn't want to gain anything until 5 or 6 months. I am 13 weeks on Wednesday. I am going to try not to gain any more for awhile.

I've gained 2 pounds (10 weeks today). With both of my other kids, I had lost a piound or two by the end of first tri, but I vomited much more with them. Two current foods that actually sound good to me are pizza and Easy Mac, so...meh. I'll worry more about healthier eating once I stop feeling sick all day every day.

Nothing so far. But I'm overweight to begin with. I only gained 5 pounds with DS.

I haven't gained anything yet, which seriously surprises me with the size of my bump already at 11 weeks. I gained 48lb when I was pregnant with my DD and I really really want to not do that again... although, a significant amount of that was fluid retention. 2 weeks post partum, I was down 20lb just because I lost all that fluid.

I've probably gained about 2lbs now at 11 weeks. I'm often bloated though so my belly looks bigger.
I hate being in this inbeteeen stage of no obvious pregnant belly but clearly expending.

Truthfully I don't even want to know lol.
I worked really hard at losing 8 pounds from the start of the year to the time I got pregnant, and then first tri nausea and exhaustion took me out.
Ok but talking about it made me check. Only up 2 pounds and I just ate lunch! I must have had more days I didn't want to eat than I realized, lol. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow.

I just had two hot pretzals dipped in queso for lunch. Maybe I shouldn't act so confused on why I don't like what my scale is telling me.
Why am I craving what a 12 year old boy would eat at a professional sporting event? Even better question, why were these things I already had ready to go at my house?

I drink a lot of wine while not pregnant, so those calories make a big difference for me. I'm 9 weeks and haven't gained any weight yet. Haven't lost either. With DS I gained 1 lb in 1st tri. I'm eating a lot just like I did with him but my body obviously needs it!

I lost a few pounds while being sick but am back to pre-preg weight now. So I haven't gained anything yet, I'm 12w today. With DD I don't think I started gaining until a bit into 2nd Tri. But then it came with a vengeance, I gained almost 50 lbs despite the healthy eating & being on my feet all day working with preschoolers. Thankfully my doctor didn't freak out, she was all "you're doing everything right, some bodies just gain more" haha. I'll be curious to see how I gain with this one.

I was almost 200 pounds when I got pregnant with Ava and lost about 5 pounds in the first trimester without morning sickness. I only gained about 10 pounds in total (32 weeks of pregnancy) and after delivery I dropped 30 pounds within 2-3 weeks (pregnancy weight plus 20 pounds). I have no clue how I did it unless it was the stress of a high risk pregnancy that was causing me to lose fat during the entire thing and it was masked by the actual pregnancy gain.
I'm 9 1/2 weeks now and after maintaining that weight loss I'm up about 1 pound so far depending on the day.
Unless you are on the low end of normal or underweight for your height I wouldn't be too concerned about losing a little weight at the beginning.

I gained 61 lbs with my first. I'm trying super super hard not to do that this time. I'm still up 30 lbs from my prepregnancy weight. I'm only 6 weeks and I lost 2 lbs as of Friday but I may have had a good weekend and gained 3 lbs lol. Back on 'operation don't gain 61 lbs' again after the holiday weekend.
