I feel better then yesterday so I’m on the shuttle to work. I might regret this decision but my email blew up yesterday after I left so I need to at least go in and fix those concerns. LO had a really bad day at school. So bad that the moment he saw me he started crying. The teach sent home a 4 page note. I’m not looking forward to parent teacher conference in a few weeks.

Morning!
Today is our morning ‘off’—no speech or preschool to hustle out the door for 🙌🏻 I was going to try a new muffin recipe but realized I don’t have pumpkin spice so that will have to wait for tmrw.
B has school and we’re meeting some friends for Mexican tonight but otherwise it should be a pretty quiet day.

Today is my moms surprise party. I need to pick up the cake and balloons. And mom and I have plans to get our nails done at lunch time. So I have to make sure the boys dont slip up..

Good morning! We are having my BIL family over tonight for Gunner’s birthday........ my MIL recently temporarily moved in with them a couple months (they live 40ish min away) ..... and she STILL has not met my kids.... like EVER!!! In their lives! Not really looking forward to it if she even decides to come with them. 😞
Anyways- Gunner wants a cookie cake and I don’t know where to find one!! Last one I made was way to crunchy. 🤔

Friday! We had J's conference and she started with his last initial being F for fantastic. He's doing great and said he plays well with everyone and doing great with reading and math and meeting all benchmarks.
Winter arrived, which is lame, but I wore my new coat that I was debating on and I'm a fan, so I'll keep it. Yesterday I was busy planting bulbs before the rain and the cold and I'm legitimately sore from the activity. I got probably 50 in though, hopefully squirrels won't dig them up 🤞. I have to talk to my new boss/former colleague later to discuss my re-entry into work, blerg..

I bought a Roomba and I think I’m in love. Lol. Why did I wait so long! Woohoo! Your dogs come inside, right? It will make such a difference in the hair clean-up! Mine goes at 10 each morning and really does a nice job of keeping the lab tumbleweeds and kid crumbs at bay. |

I’m off today for H’s well check appt and M’s early dismissal. The pedi out in a referral for an external immunologist, just in case the children’s hospital won’t allow me to see another dr there.
She also said that if the ultrasound shows no stones, she’d run the bloodwork to check his titers for mumps and we can re-vaccinate if necessary. If we’re already running that bloodwork, I might as well get his immunoglobulin levels checked at the same time so hopefully she’ll do that too.

Hi! We are having so much fun on our little trip. We left A with the grandparents so we didn't have to chase him and could do big kid stuff. Yesterday we swam and went to the hotel lounge bar. Today we have swam, gone to the arcade and now MH and C are getting lunch to bring back to our room cause L is tired. Then mini golf, arcade, swim again!

She’s driving my BIL & SIL crazy they are trying to get her to go back home. She lives in NC. I’ve only met her three times. She was not a good mother when her kids were growing up... I’ll say that. |

Hi! I'm super glad it is Friday. Charlee had her 9 month appointment today. I have a giant on my hands. 96% for height and 74% for weight. 29.8in and 20.4lbs. She also ended up with a surprise first ear infection. She hasn't shown any symptoms aside from a runny nose so I was clueless.
Layla had the worst morning, so bad I probably should have kept her home from school. IDK how she is going to be for her teacher today. I was really praying 6 was magic number. Maybe it is 6 and 2 days..... FX.

It’s been a hell of a morning. Pretty busy at work.
I’ve been talking to my friend’s H that is a car salesman all week. He has a car that just arrived that wasn’t even out on the lot yet that I’ve been trying to decide on. It checks all my boxes, but yesterday was his off day and someone wanted to look at it, so I thought it was going to be sold. It wasn’t, so I’ve been on the phone all morning trying to get the ball rolling on the purchase. FX it comes home with me next week.
MH is away with football tonight and tomorrow, so I plan to take the kids to Mexican tonight. Not much else on the agenda.

Thanks for the birthday wishes for J!! She declared that she ‘wanted to party with her friends’ so after we picked out cupcakes I dropped her off at daycare for a bit and have basically been running around since. I’m having a small gtg at the house with a Peppa Pig theme. Once they’re in bed it’s party prep for B’s party tomorrow, yay! Should be a fun time Also, MH left early this morning so it sucks he’ll be gone but I’m happy to not have the mental stress for a while and starfish in bed of course 😉 |
