It’s Finally Friday

My mom outright asked my dad if he was going to plan anything for her 50th birthday. He said no because she always figures everything out anyway so why should he bother. So now she's pissed at him 😂 2 hours until surprise time!! I'm going to get the cake and balloons now.

Came home and it felt cool in the house. Look at the thermostat and something is up with my heat. It won’t turn on. It makes a noise like it wants to, but then doesn’t. I’m thinking it is not lighting or lit. That’s the depth of my knowledge on furnaces. Of course MH isn’t home. It’s in the attic and not in a great place, so someone else will have to check it out, but I will live life on the edge and hope the fireplace and my space heaters will keep us warm tonight. It will be a low of 30.🥶

Ugh j said he wanted to ride to get N, so I picked him up early and he passed out. But then didn't want to get out of the car and tried to run down the sidewalk when I got the stroller in the door. Some poor Dad witnessed be pick up and carry this giant kid into the lobby. And then he didn't want to see people on the playground so I told him to stand by a bench and he hid under it when I turned around. He better be on his BEST behavior this weekend bc I won't be forgetting this and def won't pick him up earlier than necessary any time soon.

Oh and my new boss was super cool and apparently I'm sorely missed, so if I just work as I can remotely until Dec I won't need to take any vacation days. So I shall do that and then take an actual vacation that doesn't involve driving 4 hours a day. Also need to save days off in case daycare slot doesn't open right in January 😳.

Dang kids. Sorry he was a pain in the butt. H has been extra mean to her sister and not listening to me this week. I think it might be from DLST because she also fell asleep in the car the 2 times we went somewhere after school.

She was very surprised. We're still here. Shes very tipsy lol. We had a great turn out and it's been alot of fun.

It is so annoying when the big kids act out. tallb Sorry you had to deal with that at pickup. Glad the rest of this year will work out for you work-wise.
