Hi girls, started today with dd's well visit and shots. She's doing great. After that dd took a long nap, I did chores and ds played by himself for almost a hour, this never happens!
I got cabin fever and took the kids to a lunch place nearby and ran some errands on the way. Off to dinner with a friend tonight, can't wait!

The Dr. just called. All my labs look normal other than my vitamin D. They want me to start taking some otc. Anyone have any recs on the best one to take? Did they say how much they want you to have? Chances are you're going to need a lot more than what's usually in a multivitamin to get back to normal depending how low it is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1500 iu daily

Since we're basically moving to make room for builders, we're sorting through a lot of stuff. I found my positive pregnancy tests from ds... I couldn't toss them, I've smuggled them in my wedding box. Tell me I'm not the only one who is this insane. I found mine in mh's closet. So you're only as insane as mh.

Y'all aren't going to believe this but I was 10 minutes early for work today. I even slept in an extra 30 minutes. It's a Christmas miracle! MH is off today so he was going to take the kids to school, but M was still sleeping and H was ready to party so I took H...and I was still early. Obviously this proves who the 'hold-up' is most mornings...

I don't think I kept either of my positive pregnancy tests...I might've held onto B's for a few months but it was definitely pitched when we moved back to FL, if not before. Just got back from the photo session. C did really well until the very end when she was tired, and her outfits were precious (in my humble opinion I really liked the photographer, too. FX she got some good ones!

What do we think of the new name? I like it and I think it's miles away from the poll names from last week 😳. I am bummed we're off tapa for yet another day/day and a half.

It's not my favorite from the names that were suggested in that thread, but it's way better than the 3 they had us voting on to begin with.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1500 iu daily I just checked my prenatal and it's 1000. When mine was low they gave me a prescription for a month and then told me to maintain the levels by taking a daily multivitamin. At the time, I wasn't taking a multivitamin. That's why I asked if you were already taking one every day. So if you aren't taking a multivitamin already, I'd start taking one and then buy a vitamin D supplement to make up the difference.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1500 iu daily I like Rainbow Light but can't speak to their D supplement specifically since it's D3. Their formulations are easy on my stomach though so I've been happy with the few things I've tried. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't know if your doctor mentioned it but I saw recommendations to take calcium with it because it helps them both absorb better (or something).

I'm about to pull my hair out with this kid! My 6yro nephew questions/contradicts/complains about everything I fucking say. His mom favors him and thinks he is the most special little boy on the planet. Thank God his sister is sweet and fun to be around. One more hour. Normally I don't mind babysitting my nieces and nephews, but today he is just too much.

Did they talk at all about utilizing sun exposure (10-15 mins without sunscreen) to synthesize Vit D? My midwife suggested sun when I was low during pregnancy in addition to my prenatal.

Hi! We're just having a low key day today. N is outside with Grandma and Papa and will probably swim most of the day. I want to go get paint samples for our washroom but I'm sure DH would be annoyed if I make him go out again... he's made it very clear that he works so hard and he just wants a day to relax.

I just lost every single one of my marbles at H. She plays and messes around for an hour and barely picks at her lunch every freaking day. So today I told her I was setting a timer and when that went off it was time for nap. She threw a huge fit. Anyways, time goes by, she doesn't eat her lunch and the timer went off. She cried at me that she had to go to a nap because she wasn't done with her lunch, which then caused S to wake up. So I yelled at her. I had to just leave the girls in the room and walk away for a while. When I came back 20 mins later they were both still crying. Now H is asleep (I think) and I'm laying next to S. I really need the break today.

But I'm getting cabin fever so I need to do something.

I'm sorry trtlcrzy that's the worst. Maybe H will learn that you mean business with the timer, though--I think it's a great idea. I love this age for a lot of reasons, but sometimes I just want to tear my hair out, too. I am looking forward to 3-day-a-week preschool in the fall 😬

klong11 I use vitamin patches Www.patchrevolution.com. You use one a day and leave it on for 8 hours. I'm on a lot of extra vitamins so this makes it easier to remember. They are $19.95 for s month supply but always have sales/coupons. Here is a code that came out today valid this week only. It's for a free one months supply code is FREEPATCH ETA: its $13 a month if you do auto ship. $6.99 flat rate shipping which is good for me who buys for different types of patches.

trtlcrzy Ugh I'm sorry. I totally know how you feel. We've all been there (me more often than I'd care to admit). I hope you get a break. cheeksmum Do you struggle with social anxiety? Maybe you've mentioned it before but I don't remember. We were just talking about it the other day.

Just went hunting to find the name. Not my favorite, but I didn't suggest anything better (or anything at all), so. I think it's just really vague--but maybe that's the point, haha.

Enjoy your day wedding. Hope S naps so you get a little break trtlcrzy. Funny you mentioned a timer because I had been thinking about getting one for M. I've been putting toys in timeout a lot lately and he thinks 5 minutes means counting to 5. I also want something to get the bedtime routine going. He drags it out every night and I just don't have the patience, so I thought a timer would help set limits. Glad you mentioned pictures flamingo. I should start figuring out what we are wearing for little M's newborn pics at the end of this week. Cant wait to see your adorable girl when you get the proofs!

Nothing much happening here as usual. My mom and MH are about to take M to the park. I want to go out for Italian ice later when they get back.
Also need to find out what activities they have to do around here for the 4th. I think I want to take M out to do something. We've been in and around the house for the past few days, so it may be nice to take him out for a bit.

Definitely meh on the name. I'm just glad it's getting changed for when I go back to work. I don't think there's a chance that name will be flagged if I log in on my work computers now.

snoopmommymom, my doctor diagnosed me with moderate anxiety, social anxiety and moderately severe depression back in December. I've been going to counselling every few weeks since then. Which is also why I disappeared from here for awhile. My social anxiety I feel is probably the worst and I've now come to realize that everyone has always been a form of an enabler so I'm slowly trying to get past it.
