When DH was at school tonight he met a few other dads that are part of the Watch DOGS program...so you're chatting with the wife of their newest member. LOL. He got a special shirt that he is supposed to wear to the carnival tomorrow and he will start assisting with drop-off one day a week and hopefully have the chance to read in some classrooms and other things around campus. Also, apparently they have a group text and get together every so often for beers  Lol, what does DOGS stand for? Is it dad's of "school name?" Sounds kind of fun! Mh has made a few dad friends, but all new kindergarten dad's - maybe they should make a club! |

Basically it encourages dads to be active on campus, volunteer, and just be a positive male presence. I like the sound of it so far! dadsofgreatstudents.com/ |

flamingo I wanted mh to do that program at Cadence's school. He would have only had to volunteer 1 day the entire school year and he refused. I was not pleased. One day!!!!
