I’m working then picking up the kids and meeting C for dinner then we are ToTing. We will hit up the spooky house block then a street closer to home then we will call it a night. I have a long day tomorrow so I don’t want to stay up too late. Plus homework, there’s always homework.

Happy Halloween! I'm at work. My sisters and nieces are coming over tonight. Not sure how far the little ones will make it in the cold and rain, but that's ok!

Happy Halloween! I got a text last night that my glasses are ready so after target optical opens I am going to pick them up. I have to work tonight so I’m not sure if I’ll try and take the girls to any Halloween activities after school.

C is doing her best to eat the stash of candy for Trick-or-Treaters, I had put it on top of the kitchen cabinets and I just came in to find her pushing a barstool over to climb on 😳🤦🏻♀️
It’s unseasonably warm here today but the rain is supposed to hold off til after ToT. 🤞🏼
Both kids have school so I’m looking forward to some peace and quiet this morning.

Morning!
Thriller is playing on the radio and it’s feeling like Halloween. It’s cold outside and think this is the first cold Halloween I’ve had in a long time. I’m sitting in the parking lot at M2’s school waiting to bring him in. I have to finish painting today and clean the house. My ILs will be in tomorrow for the weekend.
If the rain stops before this evening, I may take the kids out for a quick ToT. I think we’re going out for Chinese tonight.

Happy Halloween! It's cold here...26. A layer of snow on the ground. I'm working half day then going to Evie's school to help get her class ready for the parade, then going home to make soup for the grandparents coming over tonight to hand out candy. I have PTO scheduled for tomorrow, but may come in to work today since I doubt we will ToT very long with this weather.

As I mentioned yesterday, today the kids could dress up as their favorite storybook character aka be whatever they want. M decided on Rapunzel. She was so excited to wear it this morning. She was all dressed ready to go and she broke down in tears. She was scared she'd be the only one dressed up. I assured her she wouldn't be and listed all of the moms who had texted me to see whether dress up day was yesterday or today because their kids would be wearing costumes. That didn't work. She decided to wear her uniform. I even offered to bring her uniform in the car and when we got to drop off line, if no one else was dressed up, she could change. Nope.
So we get to school and she's seeing everyone in their costumes. I thought she'd freak out but she said she was scared she'd be the only in her class dressed up. Okay.
Guess who just got a text from her teacher because she's the only one in the class not dressed up...

Poor thing tgrimes. Evie's school could wear their costumes today but she/we decided not to, because her dress is so big and they have gym today. I told her I'd bring it with me this afternoon. I put her in a Halloween shirt so she was kind of festive at least, but we aren't in a uniform school. |

tgrimes Awwww I hate that for her. These kids really do think about what their peers think/do. Is she ok? M’s class is going to the high school tomorrow for a High School Musical play and the teacher asked that they dress up in their Sunday best. I’m expecting a lot of pushback from M on that. I’m pretty sure he will say that everyone will laugh at him. It’s always his response if he doesn’t want to wear something.

Happy Halloween!
I grabbed the Tupperware of salsa verde chicken thawing in the fridge that I grabbed instead of my breakfast sandwich. I was not happy when I opened my bag this morning and saw that.
It's going to be a cold one tonight but I'm looking forward to it

I got my wolf to school on time and let the teacher know if she needed/wanted to change she had her skeleton on underneath. She also may need help unzipping to go to the bathroom. Not the best all day costume idea.
It is cold here(currently 36 with a real feel of 29). It rained last night, so hopefully no more for today.
Got my allergy shots and they stung like a bitch today. One of them is already swelling a bunch. Yay.

Morning! H wore his Maui costume to preschool and they have a party. N’s school is “dressing down” instead of costumes so it was pajama day for her. She has a fall party this afternoon and I volunteered to help at that. We’ll trick or treat to a handful of houses on our street tonight and then stop at our friends for a bit to let the kids run off some sugar.

Happy Halloween everyone! The kids will be in their costumes from 6.45am to about 8.30pm tonight and they couldnt be happier! Easiest day to get them up and dressed is today. It's supposed to be 2C (35F) tonight with a 20% chance of snow, which really means nothing cause it's a 20% chance from Oct-March every year  The grocery store does these Halloween pizzas so we'll get one of those and head out to ToT about 5.30 for a couple hours, I think I'll send MH with Baba this year with the kids and the neighbours. I'm glad he was able to get the costume to her tgrimes |

Hi! I love Halloween on FB and the group; it's so fun to see everyone in costume! tgrimes Poor M. Not remotely the same level, but I asked Benjamin 3 times this morning if he wanted to wear his Halloween shirt to school (DH got them dressed this morning and must have forgotten they had shirts), and he said no. I offered to bring it, and he said no. After trick-or-treating at school, when I was changing him out of his costume, he said, "Mama, I wanted my Halloween shirt!" Ok, my dude. Glad your H could get her costume to her. |

At one time, we had 5 Halloween babies, but I can only remember 2 - kellykinns' D and @mishkaroni's A. Who am I missing? trtlcrzy, do you still have the spreadsheet? ETA: Of course cagoldi's A! Here's my little stegosaurus trick-or-treating at school.  |
