I just took S to get a hair cut. I’m tired of the tangles. So a bob it it! Don’t mind her spacy, post sedation look.

I can’t seem to catch up in a timely manner. I hate that this is the first time I’m looking at the board all day.
I ran to the mall and picked up a couple of sweatshirts at Old Navy, stopped at Walmart for paper towels, and got the most disgusting iced coffee at Burger King.
The weather does not look good for trick-or-treating. If the kids want to brave some of the sprinkles (Josie will, Charlie won’t), we’re happy to take them , but now they’re calling for heavy rains and winds so I don’t think anybody is going to want to go.
I’m leaning toward picking up Chinese and a big bag of candy the kids like and hunkering down for the night

guster my SMIL is bringing over a crock pot of chili. I think I'll make some chicken noodle soup. I'm going to grab some peppermint schnapps and make hot cocoa for the thermos. I'm not looking forward to trick or treating in the snow. This weather is bullshit everywhere!

Hi! It’s 8.30, I haven’t had a proper dinner yet, but my house is baseball galore & presents are wrapped and ready. I made little posters with pictures of ds wearing a Red Sox cap & hung them up, I cannot believe my little boy is turning six tomorrow. Hold me please.

Our grocery store now has carts that have infant seats attached.  They're right next to the disinfecting wipes at the door so you just have to wipe down the infant seat and buckle them in.  I wish they had that when mine were younger.  

I just used one of those at Trader Joe's and it was amazing! I wish all stores had them

My morning started off with mh knocking the French press off the counter (he puts it on the edge of the sink and crashing all over the kitchen runner. He was ready to throw the rug away, so I was outside at 7am hosing off the rug.

Then I took K to work and she was a doll and I ended up being there for 2.5 hours and then going to lunch and finally trader Joe's before fetching N. Apparently I forgot to submit my claim for short term disability, so hopefully I can get that fixed before my next paycheck..

So our district is adopting new sex Ed curriculum. A woman posted on our neighborhood mom group asking if we were ok with the school teaching 3rd graders how to give bjs and have anal sex.
Um.... Wut?
Apparently she read an article on FB that that was what the curriculum included.
I told her common sense would tell her that that article was shit. The curriculum is easily assessable on the schools website and I sent her the link.
I mean, seriously? How dumb do you have to be to think that would be allowed in school and for 3rd graders none the less

Sierra just went back for her EMG. They had a tough time getting a vein so had to stick her a few times. But Child Life for the win....she showed up with bubbles! It was a perfect distraction! They actually let me stay with her till she went to sleep. They e never done that before. They always take her and put her to sleep once they get back to the procedure room. But this time they took me back there, then sent me on my way after she was asleep.

So now I sit here waiting...right outside of the gift shop, where I have been browsing and bought candy, soda, and a few cheap toys all overpriced. Lol. I have impulse problems 😂. And I always think of ggandlee in the hospital gift shop because I remember her talking about stocking up on candy in there for her shift. (Tagging in case she gets notifications and wants to pop in and say hi!)

Yay for Child Life! I'm glad you got to stay with her until asleep!

Guys this new class is kicking my butt! Today was the official 1st day and I’ve already had a quiz and homework due. Tomorrow I have to have ready 4 chapters in 2 different books and wrote another paper. This is much harder then the last class.

Tonight was a shit show. When we were walking into the school, M opened the door on her foot and scraped up 3 toes pretty badly. Cue the hysterical crying. Luckily, a mom from daycare is a teacher there and saw what happened so she ran to the nurses office for bandaids.

Then we got in line to get our food and they ran out of meat. More was being delivered so we sat to listen to the performers. It was set up in a big hallways by the cafeteria and was very loud. H cried the entire time. M cried because she saw some of her friends and wanted to play with them but didn’t want to go by herself. Then she cried because the boys wouldn’t throw the ball to her and so on and so on.

MH had to work late and met us there. He couldn’t deal with their shenanigans and was being very short with them so I told him to go home. I had brought the kids food with me in case they wouldn’t eat the bbq so I fed them and then grabbed my food and left.

Came home and our internet and cable is out. The cable line is down in our backyard. Someone must have cut it or something. So now MH is having a cow about not being able to watch the World Series. I sent him out of the house to watch the game and out the kids to bed.

Next year I will be skipping this fundraiser.
