I’ve been at work since 0130 and this is my first down time. I can’t wait to go home and take a nap. My next class officially starts tomorrow but I can start accessing today so I’m excited to start that.

Busy few days for us coming up. I’m working today till 3:30, then have to take S to an OT evaluation because we are switching facilities. We were going to one that was an hour drive one way once a week. But now there is one that’s only 30 minutes away! Then when that is over we are headed straight to STL. Probably won’t get there till about 10pm. Then have to get up at 5:30 to get ready and head over to the hospital for a sedated EMG (nerve conduction study) to check on her hand function and how the nerves are reacting since we’ve been doing the IVIG infusions for about 6 months now. Then we will head back home so she doesn’t have to miss school Wednesday.

I had the most frustrating FWP morning ever, I had to get a cake, some banners, a magazine and a head band. All of them were sold out wth! An errand that should have taken me 30 minutes at two stores, now took all morning at six places, so annoying. But I got most of it in the end & placed an order for the rest online. Ds is having a friend over, they’re really cute together.

M & I walked to school this morning and then I got H ready. I have a dr appt this morning so I’ll be late to work.
I watched Late Night with Mindy Khaling and Emma Thompson. It was pretty cute and an easy watch.

B has had an awful cough all weekend. MH took him to the dr this morning and of course he has a nasty bronchial infection. They want us to do the nebulizer 4 X per day. But it's supposed to be at least 4 hours apart. This is not going to be easy since at school they only do it at certain times. I'm waiting for a call back from the administrator there to see how we can do this.
I just want to make sure it's cleared up before we fly on Saturday!

Morning.
Monday indeed. My house is a wreck and I have so much to do including laundry and some errands. I also need to make some phone calls and pay bills. But first, headed to get a workout in. When I get home I need to make a list so I can unload some of these tasks from my brain.

"Lost" my keys in the school library when we were dropping off Cadence's pumpkin for the contest. So I thought maybe I had left them in my car. Got to my car, nope. Had to haul butt back into the school before the "parents get the hell out" bell rang. Sure enough, they are sitting in the library in plain site. They were not there when I first looked for them. My shins are screaming at me.
FFC: most of Cadence's pumpkin entry was done by me. Every task I gave her she would complain she couldn't do it. I wasn't going to let her enter it, but then this morning I changed my mind. Most of the pumpkins looked like there was quite a bit of parent involvement. Plus, there were no age categories, it's like 5th competing with kinder, so I'm fine with it.

jewels 4x a day is hard. Is your B a hard sleeper? Can you give him one when you get home and then again a few hours later when he is asleep. I used to give M2 one early in the morning before he was awake.

I used to give M2 one early in the morning before he was awake. Maybe? I dunno - but he is still in a crib and honestly I can't really reach into it that well (I'm barely 5'1") If DC will do it at 11:45 and 3:45, I can do it as soon as he wakes up (7:45) and right be fore bed (7:45) and hope for the best. I'm sure if the 4 hours are just a bit off, it will be ok.

I am also so bummed b/c every weather report is calling for rain on Thursday. They are speculating the town will move TOT to Saturday and we'll be gone. We leave Saturday morning so that means the boys would miss it completely. Plus I'm not sure what the schools would do re: the parade, etc. I already took Thursday off of work for all of this, and can't really take another day. So pray for Jersey weather to make a miraculous change

We have never had to do any sort of nebulizer treatment, that does not sound delightful. jewels, poor guy, I hope it helps clear him up before your trip! That's great news about the closer OT provider, lfig. Safe travels tonight and I hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow.

Morning!
We just got back from speech and I am working on my Wally World grocery pick up list. Once B heads to school I may take C to Dillards, she needs some new black patent leather shoes.

flamingo, we've done it a bunch with B and once with S. It's actually not that bad. B used to fight me the whole time but I had some left over from the last illness and I actually started it yesterday in advance of the appt, knowing where this was headed. As long as he's able to help hold it, he just sits quietly on my lap for the treatment. It doesn't seem to bother him much. But the motor is loud which is what worries me about trying it in his sleep. Plus he sleeps on his belly so it's hard to get to his mouth!

Morning Ladies. We had a busy weekend. Layla's last soccer games, church, Sunday school, a birthday party, and a quick run to get Layla's free season pass to Worlds of Fun. I'm a sucker and couldn't let her not ride a couple rides when they were RIGHT THERE MOM! So ended up riding rides at an amusement park at 530 on a school night lol.
We are supposed to have very cold weather, possibly snow on Halloween so this morning I'm calling the local nursing homes to see if they are planning to have their residents receive visitors on Halloween. We went to a few nursing homes two years ago, and it was so amazing. The residents LOVED seeing the littles in their costumes.

It has rained on Halloween every year since M was born. We still go trick or treating though. She doesn’t seem to mind. This year the high is 55. Wtf? It’s supposed to be mid 80s everyday until then. Just give me one more day.

jewels The motor is very loud. It actually used to put M2 to sleep, so that’s why I would do it while he was asleep when we had to increase frequency. I hope the daycare can fit it in twice. It’s supposed to rain here Thursday, too. I guess it’s good we did go to two events already. They are both getting fun days at school that day, so I won’t be so bummed if we can’t ToT.

My MOPS group did this last year, and then did an Easter egg hunt at a nursing home, too. It was so cute, everyone really enjoyed it.

Morning.
Monday indeed. MH starts his distance learning portion of his course today, so of course he didnt sleep, tossed and turned, woke up super early and then left early, even though he didnt have to. His anxiety is exhausting. Seems like an ok work week for me and I think I'll be taking half day Thursday so I dont have to rush home.

Happy Monday! I had the best weekend doing practically nothing but snuggling on the couch while watching horror movies. I did get to meet Tim’s SIL, nephew, and best friend and they were all so nice. It was snowing a bit on my way to the airport yesterday morning and that weather is definitely not my cup of tea.Tim has to run the truck and scrape ice from the windows. It was all completely foreign to me. Dude went with my sister and I to a concert last night and he loved it. I was afraid he would feel too tired to enjoy it but he was dancing, clapping, and throwing devil horns like nobody’s business. He stayed through the whole set for Norma Jean and wanted to hang out longer, but I dragged him out just as Devil Wears Prada was coming on. And I’m glad I did because the whole place was a circle pit by the time I had him out the door. We had a great time. Here he is getting ready for the show(yes, he wore his Batman costume):

Thanks for asking cagoldiThe meeting was Wednesday. Thursday, he apparently had a good day except for 1 incident, and the teacher kept the notebook and updated with various things so we could talk about it. Friday, she was out with a sick kid so nothing happened, and B's sick today. So we shall see. However, it is definitely sinking in to B that he needs to listen better. On Saturday, he put a blanket on the stairs and told me he (the blanket) wasn't listening to the teacher, and had to listen better. It was pretty funny.

Its supposed to be pouring on Halloween and the town Facebook page has a post like "oh we should move it to Friday, it won't be raining then" and people act like she's suggesting we cancel Halloween and sacrifice a child instead... lord the dramatics.
