I'm about to get the baby up to have breakfast. After I drop him at DC I need to stop at the store for a few things. I am definitely going to get a good workout in after that.

I'm not ready for Monday either. Our weekends have been so busy, I need days to recover afterwards.

I flew on an overnight flight to Europe last night. I'm now sitting in a 3 hour meeting and I am trying every trick possible to keep my eyes open. It is not really working.

I’m so tired. I didn’t sleep much last night. I have a lot on my mind. We are considering getting a bigger house but we wouldn’t have nearly the financial freedom we have now until the baby starts school. The house would fit us much better than our current house but I don’t know which way to go.
Such indecision.

Would really like a bigger house (we live in a small condo, and host family a lot, so 4 beds would be helpful), but it means no new cars, big vacations, etc. for a bit if we do that. It's going to be short term painful, and also we wouldn't be able to do many upgrades on the new house for a while (which it would likely need, if it's a place we can afford)

It makes the decision so hard!

We don't need a bigger house, but I would prefer a ranch vs our 2 story. I hate that I can't just send the kids to their rooms to play, you know? I don't want a new house bad enough for a higher mortgage though and we can't get what we need without spending more than I would like, so until childcare expenses drop, we're stuck.

I'll let you know in a couple of months how I feel about it 🙃. But for real, I have had a handful of nights the past month with money anxiety-am I sure my numbers were right? What if...? And we've had some unplanned expenses and raise from the state that hasn't come through. But, we pay off a car this summer and will pull DD from daycare for good mid-June, so I know we will have more flexibility then if we need it. I hope we don't because that money is supposed to go elsewhere.

doublestuf are you in your new home yet? You were staying with your parents, right? We're close! We close November 7th! We've been in our own place for about about 6 weeks now. They are finished with the house, and our walk-through is on Halloween. We're so ready and excited. Side note that's probably unnecessary-my previous post read like we are being financially irresponsible. I feel like I should clarify that we are not-just tighter than ideally with some unexpected things.

A still only has 6 teeth, 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. DS was a late teether too but I don't remember how many he had by now.

I am falling asleep at my desk. I have no reason in particular for being so tired.
DD reacted to her flu vaccine so we're keeping on eye on it. She says it doesn't hurt, but she's tough like her mom so she could be withholding.

Charlie has gotten quite a bit of new teeth in the past 4-6 weeks. I don't even think we realized for a while because we thought the crappy sleep was from being in the cast, EIs, and mental leap. But we definitely got a peek of some at the back when he had his shots last week.
My best guess is he has at least 10, but I don't risk putting my finger in the back of his mouth.

Also, he bit DD and broke the skin 😬. If he gets pissed at you for taking something away, keeping him for getting something, or removing him from where he wants to be...watch out. At this point I'm ready for him to start yelling "no!" at us so the biting stops!

L’s 2nd molar is starting to break through. There is at least one corner of it all the way through the surface and the rest of it feels like it’ll break through at any time. That’ll bring his teeth total to 10. I’m hoping he’ll have a break from teething once this other bottom molar finishes coming in. His top ones feel like they’ll be next, but they aren’t super close right now.

I usually don't take my afternoon break at work, but here I am. We have one little boy is is exhausting me. He resists every transition that we do. And tomorrow is storybook character day so our routine will be different.
