M's school pictures are tomorrow and I had to order them already. So dumb from a parent's point of view. We also had to order beforehand. I will say I didn’t mind in this instance because one of the packages was only $10 - basically one sheet of pics. Good enough for me. Yeah, I think I saw one for around $17. DNW $100 worth of school pics, esp. after just taking family photos. My photography budget is about shot for the year  |

Oof, oil change turned into a nail in a tire, new rear brake pads and a very expensive and long visit. We hung out at Sbux for basically 3 hours. And my boss texted asking if she could call..she's leaving, which is quite sad, I really liked her and easy to work with.
Now at home for an hour before off to fetch N..

Everything hurts from my run yesterday. I either need to do this more often or never again.
This guy I work with sent an email out about an hour ago announcing that he became a father on Saturday. He is single and had a surrogate but no one knew about it. He is the nicest man ever so we are all so excited for him.

I ordered the cheapest package I could and then got the digital copy. I think I ended up paying $25ish. Our physical pics still haven’t come in and it’s been over a month since we did pics. |

kim22, that is great! Good for him for doing that... my girlfriend who is single and well into her 40s adopted a baby on her own a few years ago. It's such a hard path to start out knowing you will be on your own, that I feel like those that do it are really destined to be parents. I don't know, I'm rambling, but I just think it's cool.

I finally booked S party. After much back and forth I ended up booking the exact same party as last year... when I asked him, that's what he wanted. So, easy on my end!
He wants to do a joint Pokemon and BeyBlade theme. I have found exactly 1 Beyblade decoration and no party supplies, etc, so this should be interesting.

We decided we aren't doing a friend party this year for C. We booked 2 nights at a hotel with 4 pools, an arcade, indoor miniature golf, ect. So we're doing that just us instead! He will have a family party and his cousins will all come.

Josie had picture day today... kinda.
She was scheduled for today but they ended up with a real
emergency— smoke in the ducts above the kindergarten wing!
They spend a hour outside, playing, while the dd checked everything out, and the had to move to a different classroom bc of the smell.
All of that to say picture day is now tomorrow (I’m secretly annoyed I have to find a new outfit for her)
I also preordered from life touch. The cheapest package and the digital download, no retouching and I picked that cute background that had the points on light through a soft grey background.

jewels and @wine, your two posts could not come at a better time! I called and tentatively held the date for Josie’s party, but also started doing bc researching for a weekend away instead at the newish indoor water park not too far from here! I have to decide by tomorrow at 5!

I’m at pickup line. I got here early because I didn’t want to drive all the way home then come back. Some lady totally cut. I was pulled to the side waiting for the gate to open where we are suppose to. She drove down the middle and got ahead of me. Kind of annoyed since I’m tired and just want to get home.

Today was picture day for N and I didn't have high hopes..but all 4 poses are amazing. I may need to actually order them all. I guess she even volunteered to go first! We can order afterwards.. we also got J's proof back and it's horrible, such a fake smile. I don't think I'll order it.

guster which place for the indoor park ? I still haven’t been to one w the kids yet. But have y’all heard about the Nickelodeon park opening in NJ this week? I’m excited about it! We are literally now ALL OVER THE place because of it. Kartrite in Monticello, the Nickelodeon park, the city, and even the Disney jr live show and a hotel nearby it. If we do kartrite, we’d have my cousins joining us so it would really feel like a party! I just spent the last hour facebooking and googling and my eyes are fried! |

Also work is offer free or discounted child care. I signed up. I’m going to see if I misheard them but if the offer that I think they said we won’t be able to do it. It would cost us almost double what we are paying today. I was hoping to save some money.

Ours our Lifetouch and it's always order after. You'll get a code to enter and you'll be able to see the pics with all the backgrounds then order the packages you want. Hmm. They sent home the code and all the info saying ‘order before picture day’ (which is this Wednesday). I’m wondering if this is just trying to create a false sense of urgency. I just hate to get a bunch of the pics turn out terrible; conversely, I might want more if they’re good. Sigh. I may have to suck it up and call. We had to order before. No proofs but there was a retake day after |
