Took A for a blood draw and went to trader Joe's. My sister and her kids are coming over and we are going to surprise C at the bus stop (he has a half day) and then all go to the cider mill!
I really want champagne for some reason. Wish I had some for a mimosa!

Morning. I’m taking S to school in a little bit and then it’s errands for me. Some day I’ll be able to drop her off and then just come home to relax, hopefully. If I’m done doing what I need to get done early enough then maybe I’ll try and purge some toys the girls don’t play with. Charlie only goes to school three days a week in the mornings, so I live that limited free time life, too,but I have had a stern conversation with myself that on Wednesday mornings I am going to come home make a hot cup of coffee and watch This Is Us. I have done it for two of the last three weeks, so not too bad. |

lahdeedah he looks so cute! guster that sounds fabulous! I miss when I was working 4 days per week and B was home with me the 5th day. He would nap for 2-3 hours and I would try to take at least 1 hour to watch crap on the tv and relax. Best ever.

We had a meeting with our builder today that his receptionist apparently forgot to tell him about.. so we had breakfast until the indoor play space opened. We thought coming on a week day it wouldnt be busy. But it's their Halloween thing so its packed, not to bad though. Just relaxing at home after this.

Cider + champagne, then they dipped the rim of the glass in cinnamon sugar, IIRC. Sounds like this would be just the thing for today! |

Happy Friday! Dh is off today and we had newborn/family pics taken at home this morning. L was awake the whole time, but hopefully we got some good ones.
It’s finally warm and sunny, but of course now it’s super windy. We are planning on going out to the winery this afternoon to let the kids run. They have a corn maze and bounce houses to keep them busy while I have a glass of wine.
I think I’ve been over doing it the last couple days and my pelvis is killing me. I broke down in tears this morning because it hurt to move. So I’m icing now and going to keep popping the ibuprofen.

Those apple cider mimosas sound wonderful. What a great treat for Thanksgiving morning. Mentally adding it to my list right now.
I ran errands this morning, and then picked Charlie up from school and realized I had forgotten to pick up the paper towels that were the reason for my errands, so back to the store we went.
I’m going to make my 3rd cup of coffee and start a load of laundry. Really living the dream over here.

Ouch. Sorry about the pelvic pain. slenle Feel better soon. FFFC... I’ve never had apple cider. I’m not a fan of apple juice, so just never tried it. Those mimosas sound delicious though. |

Apple cider mimosas sound amazing!!! Could they work at Christmas 🤔? I would serve them for Christmas morning, too! Spike a little piece of orange rind with cloves for the edge of it and serve it on a tray decorated Pineneedles (or even rosemary) with cranberries thrown in for color. Beautiful! |

Hi hi - j's fever kept coming back so I took him to k's appointment. The nurse I talked to yesterday said to bring him in, but I had another nurse I don't know well and she was like - so you want him to be seen, by the doctor?! Thankfully the doctor put him on the schedule and examined him. He has strep and already has abx and he put himself to bed. K is doing great, big girl! 92% for height ☺️ and a gigantic head, which explains why none of our baby hats fit her.
N has her fall fest this afternoon, not sure if I'll go or MH will fetch her. It's a pretty day and I wouldn't mind seeing my mom friends.
Oh and there's a scary mommy meme on IG today about all mom friends being on phones instead of IRL, made me think of you all😘

I found some knock-off Swedish Fish that are "healthy" with super low amounts of sugar. But the fiber content is really high. Here's to hoping I don't crap my brains out.

Hi from i85! I’m making the cider mimosas in the morning, mentioning it here had me wanting another one! I think with the tropical storm (?!!?!) headed our way we’re going to nix the tailgate, hang at our friends’ house, and head to the stadium right before the game. No sense standing around in the cold and rain longer than we need to. slenle sorry you’re in pain, hope it eases up soon. nam2013 I hope your pizza was delicious (sounded like it would be!) Another drink I’ve made for Christmas morning is a ‘poinsettia’...champagne, Cointreau and cranberry juice. Garnish with orange peel or twist. (Careful, they go down reeeeally easy 😉) |

vino I was thinking about the lemon drink and probiotics. Is this something you have to do for a period of time or forever? I’ve heard celebs talk about the lemon/water in the morning, but not in regards to what it does for you. I’m intrigued.

S fell asleep on the couch at 6:15. This doesn’t bode well for the morning. Praying she at least sleeps till 5:30.
MH just left for the weekend to go to a hunt test with the dog. I was supposed to go with him but had something come up at work that needs dealt with tomorrow so S and I stayed home Instead. So since S is fast asleep I’m on the couch binging Absentia on Prime video and relishing in the peace!
