wineallthetime I've been warned that we will be Boo'd this year, so I already bought stuff to leave at another neighbors house. I already bought stuff for the basket, than added a cup for the mom, who I'm friends with, that says 'This might be Boos.' This will be the first year for us.

I’ve seen the Boo-ing before but not in our current neighborhood, maybe I should start it. On second thought, we have so much going on this month, maybe I will save it for next fall, ha.
I need to figure out what I’m packing for this wknd, but instead I’m eating white cheddar cheese puffs and stalling. I had a cute outfit planned for the game when it was forecast to be 75 and sunny. Now they’re calling for 62 degrees and 100% chance of rain. Awesome, raincoat and duck boots it is.

mamabear With all that is happening in the world these days- especially with school shootings- it would be an issue for me. It’s thoughtful of her, but would not make me feel like my child is safe and secure. This is where I'm at. I would go higher than her. |

Hi girls! Seriously I do not know what changed since last school year, but apparently they finally find out I’m there and that I can be of good use, my lord I’m just racing around all day! Currently sipping a good Sauvignon and binge watching the good wife.

Blanc. I know summer is over, I’m just not ready to admit it yet . It's not over yet here! I just bought some yesterday. If I'm choosing wine, it's based off what we're eating usually. I have to drink white with fish and some chicken dishes, like chicken piccata. Pizza or pasta with red sauce has to be red. |

Hey. I finally got to meet my friend’s new baby this morning. He was so cute and slept the entire time. She said her older girls were going stir crazy so they were excited to play with S. I think I might take the girls to get flu shots after H gets home or else I’ll do it tomorrow. I have to work tonight and it’s my last day of training, she’s on her own tomorrow.

My day off wasn’t quite as relaxing as planned. We had a record wind storm that doesn’t end until 3am tomorrow and we lost power for about 7 hours. So I had to toss a lot of the fridge. Lights were still flickering so I’m not replacing anything perishable until tomorrow. We also had no cable or internet so I went to Walmart and spent too much money. Then I cleaned up downed branches as best as I could. There’s still so many out there. And a chunk of the fence that we have put off replacing for three years fell down. More eventful than I would like but tomorrow is our district conference so I’ll be listening to the judges talk most of the day. I also get braised short rib and mashed potatoes for lunch so it’s a win.

I’m sitting in the car with the little boys at soccer. DH and DS are heading to Boston and DH’s windshield on his new Jeep got cracked on the way. It’s super windy here too. The middle kid‘s school restaurant fundraiser today was at so we met my sister there before practice.
I told the kids I have a sitter coming Sunday so I could run the 5k and my daughter said she wants to run. I told her I don’t know if she can run the whole way and I don’t want to leave her alone. Her reply was “you know I can sprint it and win but I will be held back because of you.” She is probably right so I guess I will be signing her up.

So 50s day is tomorrow🙄 and it sounds like his teacher has been encouraging dress up. He says he wants to wear his 50s clothes and change into his regular clothes at brain break time. So now I have to put together an outfit. He usually dislikes these dress up days and I was counting on it this time.

His wife had a stroke years ago that did severe damage and she requires 24/7 care. She was having an emotional morning so he had a tough time getting out of the house. He's a really devoted husband. |
