I am getting ready to head south to the shower and hopefully stop off at the beach for a bit. Wish me luck, as I may know only 3 people there and 1 of them hasn’t spoken to me since August 2013!

Happy fall weekend! I'm in comfy loose pants and a sweatshirt, nothing can ruin this weekend. MH is out for a few hours this afternoon and tomorrow afternoon. I might take E to the park and see if he can try riding without training wheels.

Hello! MH is home from the bachelor party and has been napping for 2 hours.... I've got two kinds of chili cooking, food prepped, house clean for the most part. I just need to tidy up the playroom, vacuum and throw together the hot apple pie dip!

Morning!
Fall is finally here, it's gorgeous out!
DH took B to the grocery store so we'll have football snacks, etc (priorities, right?) and he's going to grill hotdogs for lunch. Some big games on so we will be here watching today. I think tomorrow we're going to get our pumpkins and mums, and go on a picnic (B's request).

Wild indeed, Cadence already got her tablet taken away and a timeout for not listening, then as I was walking out of her room so she could begin said timeout she decided to punch me in the lower back. Automatic additional 5 minutes.
Hoping she comes back from gymnastics with a better attitude.
I have a feeling regular timeouts will be a thing in our house for a bit. She seems to have forgotten who's in charge and we've clearly been too soft on it.

Morning. It’s cold and rainy do we’re having a lazy day here. My sister just offered to take the kids to the children’s museum for a bit, so I’ll probably take her up on that.
I slept terribly last night and my stomach felt off so I was hoping it was a sign if something. But alas, I feel normal this morning.

Lazy day here apparently. We had planned to go to home Depot and then I saw it was craft day, but after 2 hours to get everyone fed and dressed mh said we should just hang out..which I guess is fine, but I was kind of excited to go since it randomly was the craft day. We have fall clothes on and football is now on.
I am also waiting for Craiglist people to confirm if they are getting the table.. yesterday I was ready to post all sorts of things to sell and now I'm already over it and want to donate everything.
And we have Halloween decisions for the big kids! J wants to be an Oreo, n a tomato. J had said yesterday he wanted to be a sound wave, so I'm glad we have something easier to work with today.

A and his dad took the boys to a logging show thing today. They left at 6am and wont be back until late. I met someone to sell a moby wrap and then to the second hand store to sell some baby clothes and get M a fall wardrobe. They messed up the discount and I was so over arguing with them I ended up over paying for 2 items just to get out. It was obnoxious. Trying to decide if I want to buy a jogging stroller. I love mine for outings. But we have a gravel driveway and its impossible in it. I think I'll see how much they give me for the clothes I'm selling and then decide. They had a nice one for $50. But I dont necessarily need it..

I’m in a very sub par restaurant that according to friends was ‘the place to be’. Spoiler alert; it is not. I guess I should take the win and be happy the kids are staying at my parents and I can sleep in tomorrow:).

Labor is often more intense at night and the hormones calm during the day for pre-labor. Hoping it is preparing your body for a quick delivery. |

Happy Weekend all!
My mom took the kids, she said she was ‘surprising’ me by taking them on a Saturday and sure it’s great but it’d be nice for some notice so i could have made a laser hair removal and botox appts, but anyway here i sit a little hairy in spots and looking angry 😉
So instead, I went to the chiro, cleaned the house, did laundry and got ready. Went to the mall to look for a car coat for J, which turned to be an unsuccessful trip, every time I’m in Helly Hansen or North Face I’m disappointed, lame.
But Hustlers was starting right away so i’m now at a movie.

tallb you basically summed how I feel about selling stuff...I have great intentions and of course wouldn't mind the extra cash, but usually I just want stuff GONE once I start purging or decide we no longer need something. When we sold our bed it was a pain in the butt, it will probably be a long time before I do that again, lol.

I was napping and my woke me up to take Cadence to swim. Not "hey, I see you're sleeping, let me take her to swim". Not even, "ok let's take her to swim as a family".
It was a hey it's time for swim and I'm going to continue sitting on my ass because I'm suddenly interested in football, so please wake up and take her to swim.
I'm not pleased.

So my Mom took the kids and B is staying overnight there for sure, and i’ve packed J for her to stay there. I’m on standby if she wants to come home but....if she stays this will be the FIRST time in FIVE YEARS (that is not a typo...5 years) that I havent had a kid to take care of.
What does one do without a kid....
So far I’ve made coconut rice pudding and the N13 pumpkin spice cookies. I might take a bath and then rent the new Mindy Kaling movie. And I’ve got a yoga class in the morning at my gym...am I doing this right, i dont even know this life.

lahdeedah I’m in the maintenance part of laser hair removal. I’ve gone 4-5 times and I’m super happy with it, the last time i went was May and she said to come back October-ish, so it’s just a touch up and the future ones will be as well. It hurts like a mother effer, I actually hate it but it doesnt take long to do so I just grin and bear it. I’ve found that not going around my period (much like waxing) lessens the pain and my tech gives me a blowdryer to blow cold hair on my skin as the laser is on it, not sure if it’s the placebo effect or not but in any case it helps so i ask for it when i go. All in all it was a great decision, I love the results.

Maybe tonight’s the night slenle! We had a nice day. It was a beautiful fall day and the town had a Halloween festival. My brother and his boys were unexpectedly few this weekend (sports cancellations) and were able to come. After that we took them all to the arcade and then met my parents for dinner. Oh and C got his hair cut today and brought a picture of Tom Brady to copy it. This boy is obsessed and I have always had a visceral distaste for the man so it’s an odd place to be. |
