Low key weekend here. DD got so excited to go to the grocery store this morning, it was cute. Then she took a 3 hour nap, that was nice too lol

thatgirlrachel I hope your feeling better about the comment your BIL made, in my experience most men don't mean anything by it but I totally get it hitting a sore spot. My appearance has changed since I was pregnant with DD and I'm very sensitive to people making comments to me about it.

Happy long holiday weekend! I'm sorry I've been so awful about checking in here lately. We took a little trip to Toronto last weekend (because hell no to making that drive when it's a holiday on both sides of the border) and I've still got a bit of a vacation hangover that I can't seem to shake. Plus I've already eaten my way through most of the can't-find-in-America candy that I brought back, that was poor planning on my part.

Last night BIL made a comment about me getting bigger quicker this time around than with DD. He meant it just as an observation and wasn't trying to be rude (typical guy, right?) but I have personal issues with weight gain so it bothered me the rest of the night. It has me in a funk that I need to shake... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk At least you know he didn't mean any harm, but still...ugh. Right there with the weight issues, so I feel you. I maintain that the only unsolicited comment people should make about a pregnant woman's body -- no matter if you secretly think she's big, small, whatever -- is "you look great!"

Thinking of you August Blooms and mkrupar! Enjoying this long weekend and praying for no rain tonight and tomorrow to interfere with our parade/pool/fireworks plans. I think this kid flipped bc I used to feel kicks really high and now they are really low. Boo. Please flip back.

For the record, I compared week 27 pics with DD and this baby and I am actually smaller this time around, probably because I'm chasing a toddler around. I guess bc she was born in November (30th) that everyone assumes I am on the same timeline I was with her - like I am showing earlier in the summer. Well, yeah I am bc I am 2 months further along than I was with DD at this point. Bottom line: people can be blunt and stupid, and I need to learn to shrug it off better.

I'm glad I was running a little late this morning. I pulled up to the office and no one was here. I have no idea how to turn off the alarm. So I started installing outlook to see if they decided to close today when the CEO pulled up. If I got here on time it would have been a good 20 minutes I would've been waiting. Now it's just three of us here. I know at least one more will come in. Maybe he'll let us leave early.

You are such a dedicated employee.
