Dropped Josie at the bus, and now Charlie and I are home hanging out until he needs to leave for school in 20 minutes. A friend who moved away from this town left me both her cleaning lady’s and babysitter’s numbers. I feel like I hit gold! The cleaning lady is coming this morning to look at the house. I always keep it super neat and clean, but I was on a warpath this morning making sure nothing was out of place.

I made an appt for H this afternoon. He has a swollen salivary gland under his ear, according to google. But it's huge, hard and has a reddish hue to it and it seems to be bothering him. I'm sure it's nothing but I'd rather a doctor tell me that.
We were just at the ENT & the immunologist last week...

Just a Monday here. I did not want to get up today.
Our CEO is supposed to be calling a meeting for 10:30 to tell us what is going on with the company. Since I have insider information, I'm really interested in what he says.

Morning. Last night ds somehow got it in his head that my parents might die, and that he would miss and then forget them. He was extremely sad and it was hard to console him, we ended up calling my parents so that he could hear they’re okay. After that we watched a bit of a Sox baseball game, he got sweets and and apple. It was late before he finally went to bed.
I let ds sleep in for a bit and kept him home, since he had such a short night. Now that the days are getting shorter & we spend more time inside, i really needed to sort out my house. So the kids and I purged the downstairs, we threw out a lot. We still have a long way to go. I’m not looking forward to all the festivities in the next couple of months and the crap that will inevitably find its way back in too my house...

Lets see.... Cadence went from the bottom of the "yellow ticket" club to the top and got to pick first on Friday at center time. She, of course, picked the tablet center. Lice has been reported in her classroom. Yay! My cough has finally started calming down, I guess I needed another jolt of antibiotics to finally get it in check. I'm at work trying not to fall asleep. I get to leave at 2 today, but only to take my kid to an hour and a half of dance class.

Morning!
I'm home from our girls' trip...I know this b/c we've already been to speech and Caroline threw down over not wearing a Lilly dress, lol. Back to reality!
Nashville was a ton of fun, I have lots of recommendations for those of you planning to go this year. We ate and drank, saw a show at the Ryman, shopped, and spent a day on the rooftop pool drinking cocktails. Very successful weekend!
DH had the house tidy and did some grocery shopping so I don't have to rush out and do that today, bless him.

Well I made a major life decision this morning already. So I'm emotionally exhausted at 10:30..
Things have been not great with my sitter for a while but have gotten worse the last month or so. Well her comments this morning pushed me over the edge and I'm telling her at pick up today that come October, they wont be going there anymore. My work load has decreased so they'll be home with me from now on.
Pray for me. Hoping I can get through the conversation without crying or yelling....

Morning. I’m at work and it’s been quite the morning. A bunch of studies I’ve never really trained on in this area and I felt like I was no help to the other tech. I do not like feeling like I can’t hold my own- not how I work at all. And to top it off he was on his phone a lot talking about his kid and baseball games all weekend. This day can be over.
M starts tennis at school today. It’s right after dismissal and I have to pick him up at 315. Can’t come fast enough.

We had such a busy weekend and I stayed out too late Saturday night with the girls and I am still paying for it today.
I left for work today before the kids were awake and MH called me after drop off to say B had an awful morning and kept saying his mouth hurt. He wouldn't eat breakfast or anything. I looked and he should be done with teeth but maybe he never got his last molars? He was always late on teeth and it said he should have gotten them like 5-9 months ago or something like that.
But of course with the year he's had I immediately think he's getting sick. His stomach was off a little yesterday but nothing too bad. I'm crossing everything that it's just teeth making him miserable (even though he never really showed symptoms of teething before)

So peachsmama will this be your permanent plan moving forward? I recall you were going to keep M home with you till she got a bit bigger, but will you find somewhere else to send her till she's old enough for preschool or do you plan to keep her home w/ you for the next few years?

This will be the permanent plan. Unless its a total failure and I really can't do it. I'm just going to keep them home with me. Jackson is very well behaved when he is not around Matthew. So in the afternoon when Matthew is at school, I'm expecting he'll be good, at least most of the time. and he loves a school so I get 2 mornings a week with just Matthew and the baby of course. But he is also very well behaved when it's just him, so I really think it will work. I know there will be rough days, but I think over all this will be better for all of our happiness. And I'm going to switch Matthews bus route, so he will get on and off at our house. And I won't have to take him or pick him up anymore.

Hello! Bus stop drop off, boot camp and the grocery store this morning. I'm finishing up a very tasty salad right now. Might need to make another later.
