Let’s post our costume ideas and decorating things etc

I’ve mentioned before we are doing a nightmare before Christmas theme for our costumes

LO: Jack
E: Zero
C: Oogie Boogie
Me: Sally

My costume came in yesterday so with the exception of some plastic bugs for C’s beard we are done.

The boys are still undecided. But MJ and I are going to be cookie and milk. I'm going to get white skinnies and decorate a white shirt like this:
I haven't decided how I'll do the straw.

We'll probably do Moana & Maui, but I'm waiting to see if M changes her mind. H also likes Peppa pig, but I don't really like those costumes.

punch a hole on either side and loop a hair tie through each hole, then wrap it around a side ponytail.

It's very appropriate that you're the milk. I'm sure at this point of nursing you feel like a milk machine.

The girls have been talking about what they'll be for Halloween since November 1. They have changed their minds several times. Currently Madison wants to be El from Stranger Things (she tried to convince me she wants to be Chucky and I put the kibash on that--but I was Chucky in 5th grade). Cass wants to be a fairy. It may change 5 more times before Halloween.

We usually don't decide till October, so I don't have to deal with the constant changing of minds. But S is obsessed with Pokemon so if I had to guess I'm going with something from that.
B is obsessed with lions and spiderman, but his obsessions change fairly quickly. So we shall see. I don't really see them going with a theme which is fine with me. I'm a lame ass and don't dress up.

tgrimes  we have the maui costume/pj's that you linked. They are cute, but very PJ like, and not as much costume like. B got them for his 2nd birthday and I think wore them 1 time around the house. I can send them to you if you like. I think they are a 3T.

No worries at all.  Just cover shipping and they are yours.  I'll just confirm tonight that they really are 3 T - they've just been sitting in our costume drawer all year, and I'll let you know.

Not sure over here. L is very set on Wonder Woman and I don't see that changing. C is all over the place. Guessing A will be a puppy because we have the costume.

It’s changing daily over here. Flip-flops from spooky two cute to Arlee bazaar. Right now they both want to be “mad” scientists. I don’t like to buy costumes online unless I know the brand that we’re ordering from, so I will check out the local Halloween shop plusTJ Maxx and what not first and see if anything strikes them.

T wants to be DJ Marshmallow. Pretty sure costumes with heads aren’t allowed and school and that’s basically all the costume would be so hopefully I can talk him into something more kindergarten appropriate.

C had been steadfastly on a 'princess' kick, but recently has come around to Minnie Mouse. She was Cinderella last year so I like the idea of something different. Every time we read "Madeline" I try to sway her--b/c she would be the cutest Madeline ever, if I may say so--but no luck :/

As of today, B wants to be a Gator football player. I suggested we could make it a family affair pretty easily but DH did not seem as enthusiastic, lol.

C is ok with family costumes now. I think he figures LO will not want to do them much longer.

I ordered chocolate colored leggings and long sleeve shirt for Mallory. I need to get felt to make the cookie part. This is what I'm imagining. Kind of.

C is solidly sure he is going as Tom Brady. He’s obsessed. He already has the jersey and pants so we just need some pads and a helmet.

I had a hard time liking this...but C's so cute! I guess that's the only way I'll ever like Tom Brady.

If it makes you feel better I’m a TB hater. I don’t like sports anyway but his face is so douchey and his butt chin annoys me. I’ve always had a strong reaction to him and do not understand the attraction at all.

You can get a tan carrier and just had the black chocolate chips to that.

We looked at costumes at Walmart today so evie could get an idea of what she wanted. When we got home, she asked me to look online. Of course, FB knows what I search for and these super cute dresses showed up in my feed, on sale. Evie saw me and HAD to have this one. I told her she can not change her mind. I hate buying it this early, but hopefully when it arrives, she will be reminded how much she loves it!
