Morning! I'm about to take C to the bus and then the other two and I are going to boot camp and Trader Joe's. Then a friend and her new baby are coming over for brunch. I'm hoping to find some easy stuff to throw together at Trader Joe's!

Morning.
Work day for me. Schedule is light so far. Hoping it stays that way. When I pick M up, we’re going to Lowe’s and then home to clean a bit before we get M2. Paw patrol live is here this weekend, so I may look in to getting us tickets for tomorrow. It’s just me and the boys tonight and tomorrow. MH will be away at a game.

We tried the drop off line today. M told me she was freaking out, while we waited for someone to come open her door. Lol.
I was at work 20 min early though!

So my ankle looks and feels fine, but I must have pulled a muscle higher up when I twisted my ankle because I get an annoying pull every time I take a step.
I told Cadence this morning I was going to institute "toy timeout" for every time she tells me 'no', and the first thing to go is the tablet. She's pissed. But, guys, I'm so tired of hearing her tell me no and being so defiant.

We made it through the week! I'm exhausted, kids are exhausted. My boss is acting like I could go out at any minute, which is nice to be able to not worry about stuff (but still have lots to tie up).
I wrote J's lunch code on his hand in case he forgets..

So far we have baked muffins, colored and played Calico Critters. Thankfully DH is home so he gets to share in the “fun” 😂
CFA is supposedly opening at 11 so depending on weather we may head there for lunch.

I've started making them to push-ups or sit-ups every time they back talk or don't comply. Last night they sassed me during TKD and the instructor made them come on the mat and do 20 push-ups. They were quiet the rest of the class.  |

TGIF. Man it's been a long time coming this week. Likewise I'd have loved to call out but it'd only make me more behind. Plus Fridays most of my coworkers are off so at least it's quiet around here.
Maddie is quite the reader now. She's been reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid and I saw we have it On Demand so we might watch it tonight. If nothing else I'll make progress on my puzzle or the scarf I'm knitting.
TKD kicked my ass last night with a great cardio workout and it felt good because I've been kind of lazy lately.

klong11, putting S in time out never worked well for him, but putting his favorite things in time out was always a better option for us. I hope you have similar results.

Anyone have any vegetarian fall soups you like? I haven't seen butternut squash in the stores yet but I was thinking of making a sweet potato soup this weekend. I'm sure my kids won't touch it, but MH will eat most anything I put in front of him and if nothing else the dog and I will enjoy it.

The books they have in the kids meals are super cute right now. You can write the names of the characters in the books and j put him and N. Morning! Day 3 is going well so far. N happily got on the bus, then I took H for a haircut. We stopped at dhs office, then my old office to say hi. Now we’re at the children’s museum, then grocery store. N told me she wants to walk home from the bus stop herself today, and she’s so excited about it. Lol. The stop is just on the other side of our next door neighbor, so not far, but it will be nice to be able to wait at home considering it’s been running a half hour late all week.

Morning and happy Friday!
Nothing exciting here. No plans this weekend, which is good because my back is still bothering me and I'm tired.
My boss told me some interesting company news yesterday, which is probably a good thing since I've kind of been looking at other opportunities. But I have to keep my mouth shut about it and it's hard, with the information I have. I like knowing she can trust me, but when everything is done, it will be sad.

I love the Minimalist Baker 5 ingredient black bean and sweet potato chili (much more like a soup than chili, IMO). |

tgrimes No, but someone I'm close to, will be. I'm going to get a nice bonus to stay on as well, when the change happens. At least that's what I'm being told. cagoldi He looks so handsome! I hope his pictures turn out just as great! We have pictures next week, have to figure out what to wear this weekend. I'm thinking about going in late that morning so I can drop her off at school and make sure she looks like she should!

I’m going to pick up Dude’s BFF from aftercare then we’re all doing McDonald’s playplace, Yogurtland, a campout in the living room, and the park tomorrow morning. Should be fun!
